I tested the unit in diagnostics and checked error codes and found F6E4. Cleared the code and tested the unit and found the main control defective possibly due to recent weather storms. I cycled power and removed and replaced the main control and cycled power again. Tested the unit in bake 350 degrees and unit is operating as designed. I assisted the customer in connecting the unit to WiFi by downloading the whirlpool app on their phone. Also recommended they check/replace the GFCI breaker. No further repairs needed at this time. "Arrived onsite for icemaker not producing. On inspection there was not very little ice in the bin. I saw ice buildup in the fill tube, and on further inspection found calcium deposits clogging the fill tube. I steamed the ice and calcium out of the fill tube. I but the unit in harvest mode and it dumped the ice in the tray and then called for water, it filled the tray. Informed the customers on what I found and to keep a i on the production of ice. If it does not fill the bin in the next 72 hours to call. No water leaks detected during service.

Arrived onsite for dislodged spring and and link. Repaired existing hardware but advised customer replace spring and link. Customer preferred the restorative repair service

"Arrived onsite for buzzing noise. Determined freezer evap frozen through and water dispenser not working. Reset unit which restored water dispenser function indicating control logic and communication failure. No fresh food evap or other water drip pan issues apparent. Advised that customer manual defrost freezer for 2 days and observe for more data. Advised that if ongoing symptoms recur, contacting kitchenaid customer care and requesting assistance with repair solutions would take some of the burden of cost out of a comprehensive control replacement strategy. Arrived onsite for an ice machine that will not power on. On arrival the customer had the unit pulled out due to a water leak and stated it had been unplugged from power for a week. I plugged the unit in and it powered up and was working. I watched the unit go thru a flush cycle and making ice on the evaporator. I explained to the customer that the issue was more than likely the external drain pump failing. I poured a gallon of water into the bin three times trying to get the pump to fail but it worked every time. The customer has called to repair the water leak between the machine and RO system. The customer doesnt want to replace it at this time since it is working.

Arrived onsite for a dryer not turning on. I tested voltage at the outlet and found L1 to N or G only showing 6VAC. L2 to G or N was 123VAC and L1 to L2 was 110VAC. I had the customer present and was showing her my meter readings as I tested the outlet with the cord partially inserted in the outlet. I removed the dryer cord from the outlet and reset the circuit breaker then tested again with the customer watching and we got the same readings. I explained to the customer that L1 was responsible for powering the entire dryer and L2 was for the heating element voltage. The customer is going to correct voltage to the outlet.

Arrived onsite for a dryer that will not heat. I found that I was loosing L2 between the terminal block and the high limit thermostat. I gained access to the motor and found the L2 connector had backed out of the motor. I found where the connector had gotten a little hot and opened up. I cleaned the connector up and tightened it up then reconnected the molex connector to the motor. I tested the unit and found it heating and working as designed. I explained to the customer that this might continue to work but if it fails again the complete harness would need to be replaced.

Arrived on site for refrigerator not dispensing Ice(per customer on arrival). Upon arrival confirmed issue and found bucket full of ice. Tested auger and found auger would rotate but ice had gotten jammed in bucket grinding compartment. Was able to instruct customer on how to prevent ice build up. Found no air leaks from ice door seperator.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator leaking water at the water filter. Upon further inspection, I found the customer had a large bowl on the top shelf under the waterbox and it had a large amount of water in it. While observing the waterbox, water began to drip out where the modules are housed. I provided a disclaimer from management to the customer pertaining to the issues weve been finding with this unit. I removed the waterbox cover and found water around the reservoir. I tested the water dispenser and found the water line coming from the inlet at the wall where it connects to the filter housing was not fully inserted. Re-inserted the tube and retested the water dispenser and found no further signs of a water leak. Also found the right RC door gasket badly torn and the ice box door gasket badly crimped.

Arrived on site for a dryer that is not starting. Inspected unit and work area. Checked voltage going to the unit and for proper voltage and polarity. Check voltage to the unit when pressing the push to start button and found voltage from Line 1 to neutral drop to 0V and voltage from Line 2 to neutral increase to 248V. Neutral to ground also registered 1.5V. Check voltage at the wall and confirm the same electrical drop in increase. Spoke to SW and filled out the electrical checklist. The customer signed the incoming voltage waiver and the customer will need to fix the electrical supply. Call complete.

Arrived on site to replace fuse. Replaced fuse test unit and both ovens heating. Also found both cooling fans not coming on at all. Advised customer not to use unit due to safety issue. If they use the ovens the cooling fan will not come on and can cause unit to over heat or cabinet to over heat. Job complete.

The customer advised that the unit sometimes wont even power on and will just lock the door and then say that the cycle is complete. Did confirm the customers complaint, and did not find the motor attempting to spin When starting a cycle. Checked underneath and found all connections were good. Checked at the control and checked resistance through the shifter and the motor. Found both to be within range. After reassembling in testing again, found the machine spin and began to work and operate. Found the machine stop working, and then would not attempt to spin again. I advise the customer that because the unit was working and it stopped working after vibrating, the issue most likely would be with the harness, but wanted to return with the control as well. They hired flooring people to replace the flooring that was scratched and they used a towel to push the refrigerator back and left it under the unit. Customer was concerned about me moving the refrigerator because they didnt want me to scratch the flooring. I advised the customer I have a floor skid that helps to move the appliance without scratching the floor but they still declined. I then instructed the customer that I wont be able to work on it if we cant move the refrigerator out, I also instructed the customer that I would need a waiver to be signed to move appliance and they declined. No leaks where observed during service."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer error codes. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F9E1-drain error. Cleared the code and manually tested the dr pump,and it failed to come on. I unplugged the unit and tilted it back and found the harness to the drain pump was broken. Due to the possibility of the main control being shorted, I was granted authorization to replace the main control, drain pump and lower harness. I removed and replaced the main control and harness and tested the drain pump. Unit began to drain as designed. I calibrated the unit and retested in diagnostics and unit is operating as designed. The drain pump was not needed at this time. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. On inspection the bottom of the fridge was completely covered in ice. Had to steam the ice to remove the filter housing. Installed the filter housing and saw that the drain was iced over removed the ice and it draining now. Removed the evap cover and replaced the evap cover. Informed the customer to give the 24 hours before adding hot items to the unit. No water leak were detected during service.

Arrived for freezer being warm. On inspection the freezer was 31? the RC was 45?. I gain access to the fc evap tested the thermal and it read it was 9? 17k. I forced the heater on and it defrosted the frost on the evap. The heater is working but it look like it was not coming on when it was supposed to. Replaced the control board and informed the customer that if it is going to fail it will be in about 2 weeks. They will if it stops working.

"Arrived onsite for oven cycle on and off after it reaches temperature. On inspection turn the oven on to 425?, once the oven reached set temperature it would cycle on and off ever 30 to 90 seconds. I called the WP tech line and spoke to them about the issue. They said as long as it reaches temperature it is working. It would range from 430? down to 410? it was off by 5?. Customer said that was fine that was only 5? off. We looked for the manual to see if could calibrate the unit. No gas leaks detected during service."

"Arrived onsite for cooktop flames discolored. On inspection the flames were blue, I inquired about a humidifier in the house and the current said they use one in the kids room. It runs all night, she commented that would explain why they only see the yellow flames in the morning time. I informed the customer that they can open the back door for 15 minutes and that will help eliminate the yellow flames. No gas leaks detected during service."

"Arrived on site for washer neeeding rebuild. Upon arrival reconfirmed issue and installed parts. Found tub as, and controls, along with rotor and stator working as designed with no leaks. Call complete"

Arrived on site to test unit for not cooling properly. Found defrost sensor reading open and evap completely frosted over. Replaced defrost thermistor and sealed connections with silicone to make water tight. No leaks detected. Job complete. SR#7736513409

Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling properly/creating moister around right side of rc vent from fc. Upon arrival confirmed moister issue around vent and found temps at 42/14(rc/fc) on arrival. Found fc thermistor positioned on cap tube of evap coil and not ohming at 12k with very little ice on coil. Replaced and repositioned new thermistor on evap return line and cleared small amount of ice build up from vent. Informed customer to give unit 24 hrs to stabilize temps. Call complete

Arrived on site for a washing machine. That is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the unit would not wash their clothes. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (low/no water detected during the fill) error code. Tested the unit in manual diagnostics and found the cold water valve not pulling in water. I checked the wall and found that the water supply valve at the wall had been shut off. Test of the unit and diagnostics and everything ran as designed. Did advise the customer that the issue was most likely with the water valve being shut off due to the error code and the complaint. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to follow up on refrigerator not producing much ice. Called tech line for instructions, spike with Andrew on any futher checks or repairs to be made. SR7736413733. Unit is at 39 in the RC and -2 in the FC. Unit has some ice in the bucket, picture attached. This is around 24-48 hours of production. Temps are good, icemaker dropped a harvest while I was on site as well. Advised customer there are no other mechanical repairs or recommendations we have, unit just produces ice slowly and we can not accelerate the process. Tech line also has no further repair recommendations. Customer advised unit is working as designed, no further mechanical repairs or troubleshooting needed. Customer will have to follow up with cusromer service for any further assistance. Call complete"

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found the motor. Not turning when I attempted to jump the icemaker. Replaced the icemaker and tested the unit. The unit began to harvest and fill as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does not leak every single time and has only leaked three times but it always seems to happen on bulky items. Advise that he washes a number of blankets including ones for the bed and intermittently when he has washing those, it has leaked. He advised that all other loads do not leak. Ran unit through an auto test in the unit. Ran as designed. Ran the unit 2/3 of the way full of water and drained it out. Still cannot get the unit to leak. Tested the dispenser drawer and it and it ran as designed without leaking. The customer advised they do not use fabric softener or the fabric softener setting on their washer. Did advise customer that because we could not replicate the issue or find any water residue anywhere, I cannot determine exactly what was causing the issue. I did explain that it is possible that because he is running heavy duty loads, that the washer may be going off balance and could be causing it to leak during spin. The customer add to videos that did not appear to show the unit leaking at all. Advisor customer to call back if further issues persist. Call complete."

Arrived on site for washer not working. Upon arrival found unit on showroom floor of Rac. Ran diagnostics but found no errors. Found resistance values to valve at 1.3k-1.4k ohms for cold and hot. Found drain motor ohming at 19.8 with no breaks in harness. Found control working as designed. Replaced capacitor after find8ngs signs of grey goo. Found unit working as designed after reassembling it. Call complete
