I found the system flat, with no balanced pressure, but the factory Lokring joint at the compressor return looked suspicious and I proceeded with compressor replacement. Vacuuming showed a serious leak and I was unable to get the systm below 1500 microns. Inspection and pressure testing of the condenser showed it leak-free and the unit will require evaporator replacement. During N2 pressure testing, a hissing sound may have came from the FC evaporator, but I am ordering both in case of need. The door gasket will be installed upon completion of the sealed system. The evidence is the ice clumped together and the filter frozen but not the reservoir. Arrived onsite for a freezer that is not cooling correctly now after the sealed system was worked on. I found the sealed system working as designed but the red indicator light never shuts off. I found the black and orange wires reversed on the thermostat and I found one side of the thermostat sticking and not opening causing the light to stay on. I replaced the thermostat and corrected the wiring. I checked the side of the freezer on the inside of the unit and the wall was at -6 degrees when the control cycled off. All is working as designed. Arrived on site for a dryer that is not heating. Inspected unit and work area. I did confirm the customers complaint and found no heat coming from the dryer on a timed dry high heat cycle. I checked voltage going to the unit and found proper voltage and polarity. I gained access to the heating components and found the element open. I went ahead and replaced the heating element and tested the unit. I found the unit working and operating as designed. The customer also complained about her lint trap as her lint trap was warping and not catching lint. I spoke to Clemson was advised that would still be covered. I examined the door and found massive gaps on the top and side from a warped door. Bottom of door was 3/4 inch from mullion, top of door was 1 1/8 from the mullion. Prior to replacement the door did seal, but had a dent. I could find nothing wrong with the hinges, and cabinet is square. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator noises. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of the noise which sounded like the FC evap fan motor hitting ice. I inspected the freezer (FC) section and found no ice on the evap cover, but I found ice clumps at the bottom left corner of the evap drip pan. While removing food items from the freezer shelves, I found pieces of ice falling off of the packaging. I removed the evap cover to find a mound of ice built up on the left side of the fan motor shroud (photo). I checked the ice maker fill tube and found a small gap between the fill tube chute and back wall. I tested the ice maker and when it began to fill, I found a stream of water running down the back wall and going into the evap fan area where I found the ice build up (photos). I advised the customer of my findings and using some permagum from my van stock (212643), I placed a small bead around the fill tube chute and retested the ice maker and it is operating as designed with no further leaks (photo). Reassembled the freezer section and retested and unit continues to operate without any leaks. No leaks observed at the end of service, job completed. 212643"

"Arrived on site to inspect washer knocking/thumping noise. Upon further inspection, the customer described the noise as the unit possibly getting off balance. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Unit operated as designed. After testing, I pressed down on the tub assembly and when it popped back up, it moved to the front of the unit. I didnt find a lot of play in the tub assembly, but it popped back up towards the front of the unit. I removed and replaced the suspension rods and while I had the top lifted, I removed the tub ring and using my flashlight, I checked the basket for any missing holes in the sides of the basket. I found the basket is good and calibrated the unit and leveled the unit. Retested in diagnostics, and the unit operated as designed. I made recommendations for use and care (load size/balanced load) and recommended they monitor the unit and schedule service if it continues to get off balance. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

The customer advised the initial issue was that anytime they tried to select a cycle, the unit would immediately click over to the drain/cancel button and they could not use it. After cycling power, the advise if theyre able to run a psychopath at the dishwasher will not stop running until they legitimately press the cancel button. Around the enter, enter diagnostics and found an F2 E1 (stuck key) error code. I tried to advance through the error codes and found the start button was not activating, and therefore would not let me move forward and diagnostics. On arrival verified complaint of not washing and not draining. Ran test cycle and found no error codes. Ran component activation and found all of them work. Put spray arms straight front to back and confirmed movement of the spray arms. Dispenser is working. Advised proper use and care as well as seen rinse aid is empty. Unit is currently working at this time. Job complete no parts installed no leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit isnt making ice properly and the freezer isnt cooling properly. I found a few cubes in the ice bin and customer advised they were from approximately 36 hours ago. I found the FC section cool but not cold/freezing temps. I pulled the unit out and gained access to the sealed system components and placed my gauges on the previous sealed system repair. Placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the system in test 4. In subtest 4 my readings were -20/115 and subtest 5 was 0/148 telling me the system is sealed and no leaks. The compressor was hot to touch and I did not hear any refrigerant cycling through the system when the 3 way valve switched from the RC to the FC, but I could hear the compressor being loud and making a gurgling noise as if there was water or a liquid running/dripping inside. Based off my findings, it appears the compressor is not pumping properly and will need to be replaced. I contacted techline and spoke to Nate and advised of the history, my findings and my recommendations for repairs. Nate agreed with the repairs and provided SR#7739579873. I am ordering the compressor, both evaporators, NITROGEN, access valve, UV dye drier, 3 way valve, CNOTE-3 HOUR JOB and office to schedule return service. Returning tech to replace all parts ordered for sealed system repair and clear the system with NITROGEN before vacuuming the system. The vacuum will need to be a long vacuum. "WDT750SAKZ2 Arrived to inspect leak. The unit was leaking from the front left corner and the customer had to place a small towel under the door corner to catch the water. Service test mode had F10E2 and I cleared for testing. Service mode test reveled the tub leaking from the upper left, rear seam. The tub appears to have been mis-formed and as the spray arm rotated the water jet to that position, water would escape to the outside of the tub. Office to order tub. Water to unit shut off and no leaks of the supply or drain we observed during service. "WRF757SDHZ04 Arrived to inspect ice production issues. The FC was 0 and the RC 35. The ice mold had minimal slivers of cubes and error E5, which is common with incorrect filling and airflow issues. Inspection of the housing reveled the back of the housing was significantly gapped from the back, inner wall of the RC chamber, and I corrected via re-positioning the housing. The front would not contact the ice bin gasket as designed and I found the left lower hinge had been bent, and corrected. Further testing reveled all functions were present and the ice maker operated and filled as expected. No leaks observed during service."

"WED4850HW0 Arrived to inspect continuous running. I found line VAC to the timer motor and upon inspection, one of the connectors had been pressed out of place, stopping circuit continuity. The connector was able to be pressed back in place and the plug then fully seated. The unit operated as designed and I verified the timer motor fully operational."

"Arrived on site to diagnose microwave that was sparking when in use. Examined HV system and found the unit was super saturated with oil, this was causing the transformer wire to arc through its sheath to the diode. I replaced the diode and relocated the transformer wire to prevent issue from reoccurring. Customer strongly advised to cover items on the cooktop to minimize oil in the microwave. Unit now working as designed. Parts used - W11256462."

Arrived on site to diagnose dryer that is turning on but not turning drum. I tested the unit and confirmed drum is not turning. Removed front panel and found belt / tensioner were disconnected and belt was partially torn. Replaced belt and tensioner to resolve. Tested unit and verified proper function. Parts used - 4392065.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that has burn marks on the inner vent box inside the drum. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that it may be normal, but they were unsure as to whether the heater vent box would discolor after such a small period of time. I did explain to the customer that it is normal for the vet to discolor due to the heat being produced by the element and lint and moisture that flows within the unit. I tested the dryer and took a temperature test of the unit. I found the unit fluctuating between 120?F and 169?F, averaging a temperature of 145?F on a high heat cycle. I tested the unit on other cycles and found them within range. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Rob SR# 77395799136. He had me send him a photo of the vent, and after review, advise if that is normal, wear and tear on the dryer. He advised not to make any repairs at this time as the unit is working and operating as designed. Advised this point, it is just a cosmetic issue and not to be worried about. Call complete. No parts were installed."

Arrived on site to replace previously diagnosed compressor. Found noise was not compressor but condenser vibrating against cabinet and had a couple refrigerant tubes rubbing exaggerating noises. Secured lines and applied rubber shims. Noise is no longer present. Customer satisfied with improvement. No leaks detected. No parts replaced at this time. Job complete.

Arrived on site for washer not doing anything when start is pushed. Just flashes sensing then turns off. No error codes. All components pass diagnostics. Found customer was just waking up control.
