He advised that based on the current information, the unit would be sent for review and whirlpool be in touch with them depending on the next steps as he did not have any further advisements on the repair. He advised that the customer may hear from whirlpool within the next 5 to 7 business days depending on the next steps. Call complete."

Ran through all individual testing on each component of the washer and found the unit working as designed. Showed the customer all components working. Upon arrival the customer stated that the RC felt warmer than the set temps, they found foods were spoiling fast, and the crisper drawer was freezing over. I checked temps and found the FC at 0?F, the RC at 43?F, and the bottom drawer at 33?F. Upon further inspection I found no excessive ice build up on the evaps. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found all airflow components running as designed. I then gained access to the control to ohm out all thermistors. I found them good for the temps at the time of reading. Due to this I installed the new control kit per the SP W11450890. The unit is now as designed. Call complete."

I advised on the type and amount of detergent, liquid or powder with cold water purge from the hot supply prior to use and to use rinse agent within the mfg provided dispenser. I found a 3-3 error and completed a service test mode cycle and the code did not clear. All other functions were present and the unit drew the correct amps through the heating portions of the test cycle. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker with melting ice. Upon further inspection, I found the ice door not sealing properly allowing warm air up into the ice bin area and melting ice. Also found a large amount of ice built up on the underside of the IM cover (photos). I removed the ice chute and found insulation protruding out the liner of the door from under the motor box assembly (photo). Due to the risk of destroying the insulation and liner of the door when removing the motor box assembly, I am ordering the left FC door SS and office to schedule return service. Until the door arrives, I placed permagum in the chute to cover the gap where the insulation is coming out and placed a new chute in the door as a temporary repair. No water leaks observed during service.
