Arrived on site for front left burner not igniting. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the gas ports to the ignitors had manufacturing burrs in them. I cleared the burrs and reassembled the unit. I tested the burners and they all ignite as designed job complete.

Arrived on site to diagnose a refrigerator that is not producing ice. Found icemaker failed and replaced it. Tested unit and found all is functioning properly at this time and no leaks were found at time of service.

"Arrived to inspect temperature issue. I set the main oven to industry standard testing of 350F and started the cycle. The unit ignited as designed and reached an it into preheat of 404 (expected) and then declined to 312 and re-ignited. Subsequent temps were 346, 323 and missed an ignition attempt. Re-ignited at 309 and then 348, igniter a second tie and went to 367. The unit attempted to ignite again and 324 and failed. I disassembled the burner assembly and found the flame spreader/heat plate had been installed upside down, causing issues with gas flow and subsequent flame shape and ignition. I corrected the issue and tested at 350. Preheat claimed at 410 and then cycled at 324. Subsequent cycles were 354, 322, 355, 323, 356. The unit performed as designed after the burner correction and authoritatively ignited after heat up during subsequent ignitions. I verified the smaller chamber heated as designed as well. No gas leaks detected during service.

"arrived on site for dishwasher not cleaning the dishes. I inspected the unit and work area. I found fault codes F7e1 no heat, f6e6 cold water. I ran a diagnostics cycle and found the wash motor stopped working halfway through. I tested voltage to the motor and found proper voltage. I tested resistance to the motor and found 3.3 ohms, it should read from 11 to 16 ohms. I also found one of the buttons not working on the console. I inspected the console and found corrosion on the control. The unit will need a new motor and console parts

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not agitating properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does not seem to get all of her clothes wet and that her wash cycles are not coming out clean. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F8 E6 (water hazard) and F0 E3 (overload) error codes. Tested the unit and an auto test and the unit ran as designed. Started to test the unit and some of the wash cycles the customer was talking about and noticed that the extra power button was being used on those cycles that she was having problems with. Advise the customer that this is normal operation when using the extra power button due to the unit trying to maximize the soap to water ratio to get the items cleaned. I did advise her on heavier loads, water will not fill up over the clothes when the extra power button is used. Advise the customer on proper loading procedures and usage. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site to unit for bottom oven light not turning off. Test unit and found and latch. Replaced latch test unit and unit test good light is turning off. Also found unit not sitting flush to cabinet and bottom oven did not have screw holding oven in. Advised customer to get with us builder to get installation people back out to correct those issues. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator with the doors not sealing properly. Upon arrival the customer stated that they found the mullion area bad. The customer used a magnet to walk down the mullion and we found a large section on both the RC and FC sides where the magnet gets out of position. Upon further inspection I found the gasket good and sealing flat. However, I found the seal very weak and allowing the door to occasionally pop open without shutting again. The customer stated they did have several occasions where frost was all over inside of the freezer. I called techline and spoke to Anthony and received SR# 7734082838. I informed Anthony of my findings. Anthony and I got on a video chat and I showed him how the magnet does not slide down the mullion smoothly and has voids in specific areas. We also checked the magnetism of the gaskets with a paper clip and found it good. While on the phone I also found the pressure from the gaskets being released where the magnetic issues were on the mullion before the areas where it seemed to be fine. This possibly indicating a lack of connection in those areas. Anthony and I could not definitively find the failure. Therefore, Anthony escalated the issue and stated myself or the customer will be reached out to for further instruction. The customer also had LED modules going out, and per the SP W11606409 all of the modules need to be replaced. I am ordering the modules and the office will reschedule once reached out to about seal issue. ; ordrng 12 W11484836 (LED Modules)s"

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator making a loud hum. Upon arrival the customer stated the sound was constant and if it stopped it would only be for a short period of time. They also stated they had just spilled something in the FC and the doors had been open for roughly 20 minutes right before arrival. Due to this I couldnt get an accurate temp reading. I was able to replicate the noise and found it coming from the FC fan. Upon further inspection I found significant ice build up on the FC evap. I gained access to the control to ohm out all thermistors. I found the RC at 6.42k, the FC at 9.48k, and the FC defrost at 49.1k. This indicates a bad FC defrost thermistor and control. The control should be reading the defrost thermistor as way to cold and should be defrosting, but it is not. Therefore, the control is faulty. The defrost harness is still under our warranty. I am ordering the control and will return with the harness as well to replace. I advised the customer on letting the unit thaw at least 48 hours prior to service and to lay towels down. Arrived onsite for a cooktop that when the RF burner is turned on the RR burner heats also. I found a constant 120VAC at the rear element block for the RR burner when both right switches were off. I found the switch for the RR heater stuck closed between L2 and H2. The switch needs to be replaced. The customer also stated the RF element didnt seem to get as hot as it use to and I explained that it could have been because the rear heater was causing extra amp draw making the switch cycle prematurely but I will return with an extra switch just in case. Arrived onsite for ICE MACHINE WORKING BUT MAKES VERY LITTLE ICE. Upon arrival test unit and unit is operating as designed. Found that the unit is pushed to far back into the cabinet and the door will not close completely also keeping interior light on. There was too much warm air entering the unit and causing ice to melt quickly. Customer will allow sufficient time to harvest ice. He will monitor the unit and have us come back on Wednesday July 20th to for follow up. Office to reschedule for Wednesday July 20

"Arrived onsite for washer that will no longer operate. Upon inspection I found code stored F9E1, F8E3, F8E6 and f5e3. I found that unit would not let me test it at all it would just flash f5e3 for the lid switch . I replaced the lid switch and the the unit would not agitate but not drain and spin and the lid would not open so replace the control ant tested in component activation mode the lid lock function and it passed the I attempted to activate the drain pump and found that it would not activate. I then replaced the drain pump but after replacing the old pump I found that the drain pump,harness was separated at the connector in a way the you wouldnt notice if you are not looking at it directly. I repaired the connector and tested the unit in diag mod and in wash with sheets in the washer and found that the unit operated as designed both those times. Job complete no leaks."

"Arrived to inspect cooling issue in FC. I found the evaporator plugged with frost at the intake ports, along the sides and at the top of the evaporator assembly, but the was minimal frost in the core area of the evaporator. I tested the defrost system during removing the frost and it worked within service test mode. The thermistors were within range and after removing the retainers in the plugs at the control, I was able to verify 1.55VDC and increased to 1.8VDC after the compressor engaged. I removed and replaced the HV control and tested. The chassis required squaring and the FC door was barely making contact with the chassis, with the drawers empty and I corrected. No leaks observed during service.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling properly. Upon inspection I found that there was a thick layer of lint and dust covering the condenser. I cleaned the condenser see pix. And advised the customer that they should see better temps in the refrigerator now.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator with a stuck water filter. Upon inspection I found that the filter was stuck as described. I removed the stuck filter and replace it with a new one that the cx had. And tested the unit and found unit operating as designed. Job complete.

I tested the unit and the circulation pump did not engage and I verified line VAC at the connector. I removed and replaced the circulation pump and tested. Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling. Upon inspection I found that the evap fan was unplugged causing the unit not to have airflow so temp would not get down to operating temperatures. I plugged the fan back in and tested unit and found a good frost pattern developing and the fan running. I performed a temp test before leaving and found that the temps where falling steady. I also leveled the unit and advised cx to wait about 24hrs for fridge to get to its desired temperature since it was starting from scratch.Job complete.

Arrived onsite for washer that is making a knocking sound when in use. Upon inspection I found that the unit operating as designed in diagnostics mode several times and I heard no such noise. I inspected the suspension and found them to be good. I inspected the drive assembly and found that to be good as well. Tested one last time and unit operating as designed job complete

Found the whole unit completely dead. Checked voltage at the terminal block and found no voltage. Checked voltage at the plug and found the same issue. I did check all elements, TODs, and oven sensor and found them all within range. The customer advised that he knew that the breaker was on and would show me. We walked out to the breaker box and all the breakers were on. I did advise the customer that if the breaker was on but the outlet had no power, there would have to be an electrical supply issue from the breaker box to the plug.

Arrived onsite for a dryer with the drum not turning smoothly and making a burning smell. Ms showed me the sound she was hearing and I found the noise was the blower and it was loud because the vent hose had come loose and she was smelling the heater. I installed the hose and tightened the clamps to prevent it from coming off. I also tested the vent to make sure it wasnt restricted and I vacuumed all the lint that had blown out behind the washer and dryer.

"Arrived onsite for a dryer making a swooshing sound. I ran the dryer unloaded and loaded with wet towels and could not get the dryer to make the noise Ms was hearing. I disassembled the dryer and visually checked the rollers, idler, belt, and burner ASSY. All looked normal. The unit is working as designed at this time. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite for a dishwasher emitting a chemical smell. I did a visual check on all the inner door components, pumps, and wiring harness. I found no signs of anything getting hot or burning. I ran the service diagnostics cycle to get the heater to heat and I did get a smell from the element but the customer said that was not the same odor it puts off. Mr stated it is like a burning plastic smell. Mr stated its not just a smell but it will cause your eyes to burn. I did find some lime scale build up on the heater and tub due to hard water and pointed this out to the customer. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke with Chris SR# 7734065801. Chris said it is possible that the build upon the element could be causing the smell but the heater will not run long enough in diagnostics to catch it and would possibly need to see it from mid cycle to the end of a regular wash cycle. Chris stated there is no way to put this unit in a manual load test just for the heater. I called the Safety Team and spoke with Christina SR# 7734019432. I explained to Christina what I had found and that I had spoke with techline. Christina said if I cant replicate the problem while running the diagnostics cycle then there isnt anything they can do and advised to have the customer call the safety team. Call complete."

Arrived on site to diagnose a washer that is not draining. Found debris caught in pump and cleared out pump. Tested unit and found all is functioning properly at this time. No leaks were found at time of service.

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the lokring failures at previous service call, I arrived to install the lokrings with the drier. Once I got the drier installed, I was tightening the needle to the drier and the cap tube popped from the bottom the chassis. After inspecting, I found the cap tube broke inside the cabinet. I contacted techline and spoke to Chris and advised of the complaint and repairs and current issue. Chris advised the unit is not repairable at this time and provided SR#7734067189. Chris advised to let the customer know that the manufacturer would contact them within 5 business days to discuss further. I advised my customer of the conversation with tech support. Unit placed back in its space and left unplugged and the water turned off. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven control panel display not reading. Upon further inspection, I found the display blank. I placed the unit in diagnostics and the display appeared and showed F2E1 error code.I removed and replaced the control panel and tested and unit is operating as designed. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator water dispenser not working. Upon further inspection, I tested the dispenser and it failed. I removed the filter and retested and it continued to fail. I could hear a clicking noise coming from the back of the unit. I pulled the unit out and tested water pressure at the wall and its good. The ice maker is making good ice so its getting water. I emoted and replaced the dual valve and retested and still no water. Removed and replaced the inlet valve and still no water. I disconnected the water line from the valve to the filter head and tested and no water came out, but I could still hear the relay in the control clicking. I tested voltage at the control from P3-4 to P1-2 and got 121V. I tested voltage at the inlet valve and did not get 120V. Tested voltage at the dual valve and got the same results. I tested the P3-4 harness (violet) to the harness at the inlet valve just behind the splitter (diode assembly) and did not get any continuity. I contacted techline to get documented and spoke to Ed. Ed had me jump the valve connector and check for resistance and I found none. Ed advised that the harness is bad in the cabinet and deemed it non-repairable. Ed provided SR#7734063613. I advised the customer that the manufacturer would contact them early next week to discuss the next steps. I provided the customer with the SR and corrected the email address in the ticket. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for washing machine making a weird noise. I inspected the unit and work area. I plugged the unit on and found the drain pump running when the unit was empty. I canceled the drain pump and blew through the pressure line. I cleared the line. I gained access to the gear case and found the capacitor leaking. I replaced the capacitor. Arrived on site to possibly install previous diagnosed part. I gained access to the front right ignitor and tested continuity through the line. I was only receiving milli ohms through the line. I replaced the ignitor and tested the unit. I found all burners sparking as designed. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with a no ice condition. I found the refrigerator going thru a defrost so I worked on the dryer to give it time to finish. I had found the bale arm in the off position so I turned it on. When the FC reached 8 degrees the icemaker went thru a harvest and dumped the ice in the mold then it filled correctly. Ms stated she turned it off because it hadnt made any ice for days. I explained it could have been a defrost issue but at this time everything checks good. The unit is working as designed at this time.

Arrived on site for dishwasher not responding. I inspected the unit and work area. I found thebunit not powering on. I tested voltage to the unit and found none. I inspected the breaker and found the breaker tripped. I flipped the breaker and found the dishwasher turning back on. I ran a diagnostic cycle and found the working and not tripping the breaker. I advised thebcustiner to have the breaker replaced. The unit is working as designed job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop flames and cooktop finish. Upon further inspection, I found the left two burners, back right burner and the front right burner flames not correct. I adjusted the left two and back right and found the large orifice was incorrect on the front right burner. Replaced the orifice with the correct one and retested. Unit is operating as designed. When I went to clean the cooktop with stainless steel cleaner and a microfiber cloth, I found the cooktop finish felt like sandpaper as the cloth was sticking to the finish. Contacted techline and spoke to Leon and advised of my findings. Leon advised there have been no reports of this issue and no service pointers to support it. He opened a file and provided SR#7734061456. I advised the customer that due to the unit being out of its 30 day cosmetic warranty, they would need to contact the dealer who sold them the unit to discuss replacement. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a range that has a hot cooktop indicator light on. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint but didnt have the customer cooking as our arrives. Went over wiring schematic and checked infinite switches. Disconnected power to be able to test the infinite switches and initially tested the right front infinite switch. Upon plugging the unit in with the right front burner connector on, found the unit not showing a hot cooktop surface. However, when plugging in the connector for the right front infinite switch, found no difference of the hot indicator light. Attempted to test all switches and found that hot cooktop light turn off within 30 to 45 seconds of powering on and off. Tested each infinite switch twice and could not replicate the issue again. I did advise the customer that it is possible that all they needed to do was to power reset the Appliance but again, could not replicate the issue. Advise the customer to keep an eye on the unit and call back if further issues persist. Call complete."

Arrived on site for an oven that is flashing multiple error codes in Mona allow the customer to complete any big cycles. Inspected unit and working. The customer advised they were getting error codes of an F3 E2 (oven temperature too high -over 575?F) and F5 E1 (door wont lock or unlock in cleaning mode). Check resistance on the thermistor from the control and found the oven temperature probe reading 1.099 k ohms. Checked all connections and found all connections good. Found the upper oven had a bake relay that was welded shut.The customer advised that they did not want to research the control on their own and we just buy a new unit.

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit has not leaked in the last four dishwasher cycle but it reached at some point during one cycle about a week ago. Ran the unit three diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed with no leaks present. During the wash portion of that diagnostic cycle did notice a buildup of suds inside of the dishwasher. I did ask the customer about their soap usage and whether they wash dishes prior to starting the cycle. She advised they do wash the dishes prior to putting them in the dishwasher and they use the Powerball detergent. Did explain to the customer that that can cause an over certain condition due to the soap not having the ability to attack anything but itself causing sides. Checked inside the door and underneath unit and could not find any leaks. I did run the unit one more time just to be sure and again could not find any leaks. Advised the customer to change dishwasher soap to the single concentrate liquid if they continue to wash dishes prior to a dishwasher cycle so that way they can limit how much soap to use. I told the customer to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete.

I tested several times and found the latch not catching the strike a few times. I removed and replaced the latch and retested several more times again and the door locked every time.
