Could not remove all the way without damaging anything, as the cover is stuck to the evaporator with ice. Will need customer to perform natural defrost by unplugging the unit for 2 days prior to our next appointment, with doors open and towels down. "Arrived to inspect cooling issue. I found the return air ducts for the refrigerator to the freezer were plugged with ice, preventing airflow and causing the RC temperatures to elevate and the freezer to badly frost. Further inspection revealed the lower front metal border at the bottom of the RC liner had a gap that was approximately 50% the overall length of the opening. The gap was completely open and light could be seen all the way to the floor under the unit. I was able to correctly re-form the metal and fully seal the gap and test. I removed all ice and frost and the unit started operating as designed. No leaks observed during service."
