Round the unit through diagnostics and found an F7 E1 (compressor not running) error code. Checked all connections at the control and underneath the unit where the wires connect into the cabinet. Found all connections good. Checked voltage going to the compressor and only found 12 V going between the black and white. Check the voltage between the black and chassis ground and found 121 V. Check voltage at the control being sent to the compressor and found 123 V. Spoke to JC and was advised there would be an issue with the neutral wire coming back to the control in the cabinet. I called whirlpool Techline and spoke to Chris SR# 7734317505. He advised that based on my checks that the issue would have to be with the neutral wire going back to the control causing the issue. He advised that the wire would have to be under stress or partially broken an order for this to do this. However, he advised that there are no repairs that can be made and that this would be sent to review. He advised it till the customer they would be contacted with the next 3-5 business days. I found frost build up in the freezer evaporator cover. I put the unit into diagnostics and put the unit into a forced defrost. I found it going the defrost heater turning on. I changed into a basic defrost. I explained to the customer what that means. I found the upper bin broken and allowing the freezer door to shut properly. The bin sent with me was ordered correctly but boxed wrong. I am ordering another bin. This will be a parts drop off. "Arrived on site to diagnose ice machine that had water leaks and damage found around it, extending into laundry room as well. Took photos of damage and sent to MS. Customer had moved the unit outside. Hooked unit to hose and tested all functions. Found unit drain pump is not running at all, will require a new drain pump. When I inspected the drain setup I found the drain hose is incredibly short and gravity draining into a hole in the floor. Based on the short drain hose it is not fully seating in the floor drain, and for the most part is 'pointed' at the drain hole. The drain hose does not sit very far into the drain, and with a wearing hose that's getting stiffer, it could very easily point off to the side and cause the unit to miss the drain hole when it drains causing the issues. With the way the unit was installed you don't have any simple way to verify the drain line is seated in the drain when it's running. Advised the customer needs to have a longer drain hose so that we can make sure it stays seated in the drain and doesn't come out due to vibration or any other factors. Unable to discern if drain had any kind of vapor lock also causing water to over flow. Advised MS of findings and that unit needs a drain pump / possible control to get it to drain again. "Arrived to inspect intermittent cooling in RC. I found the unit was cooling correctly upon my arrival and no issue was apparent. I verified the RC cooling fan was operating correctly and did note the fan would engage (low current slow operation) when the FC fan was engaged and then fully engaged during its part of the test, but find this an insignificant error. Moving to the three way valve assembly, I found it positively engaging during full open mode, but the full open engagement did not have the expected solid engagement that is usually heard. Further, during test mode 4, the valve could be felt (barely audible) to attempt some type of switching during portions of the test when there is usually no valve actuation. I suspect the electromagnetic actuator is either not able to actuate the valve, or the valve itself is going into failure. I contacted the MFG tech line for testing info that is not contained within the tech sheet and spoke with MFG tech Adrian and advised of my observations File# 7734312900. We tested the coil and found resistance within specifications, but that does not prove the windings have not moved within the housing and creating the weak engagement. After reseating the actuator, test mode 4 operated as normal and the issue may be resolved. I am ordering the actuator and we will contact the CX prior to arrival to see if it is needed. "Arrived on site for dishwasher not cleaning properly. I inspected the unit and work area. I found fault F9e1 diverter cant find position f9e2 diverter stuck f6e1 low no water. I ran a diagnostics cycle and found the diverter leaking. I also found the low rack tracks sticking in place.

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with ice clumping in the bin. I removed all the ice out of the bin. I found the auger motor not working and the ice door not working. I found the auger shaft frozen in the door and the wires all corroded with 2 of the wires broken out of the molex connector. The ice button is also missing. The ice chute in the door is leaking because ice caused it to pop up and unseal it to the liner. The door needs to be replaced along with the door, motor, possible control, and the bin button but the door has been discontinued

"Arrived on site and inspected washer and found saved error codes F71, set washer into a diagnostic cycle and it will not pass C8. Set washer into spin and there is bearing noise. At minimum bearing kit will need to be replaced. Pressure switch on control board may also be failing and would prefer to have that on hand if needed What control board is no longer orderable as a new part.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator with a leak coming from the bottom. Upon inspection I found ice at the bottom of the Fc. I checked the Evap and found a healthy frost pattern and the the fan was running and the heating element was good. I check the drain panel and found that it was frozen over so I removed the ice the my steamer and checked for a clog in the drain tube and found that it was clogged I replaced the clog and the rest of the ice and tested the drain system and found that the water drain out normally.i did also notice that the icemaker seems to be making too much ice as it was over flowing the ice bid I made it known to the cx that this could cause some issues and cx said the shed keep an eye on it. Job complete no leaks found after service.

The unit is hard wired in, I used a non-contact voltage tester, I tested it on the coffee maker and confirmed it works, I used it on the hard line for the dishwasher and found no voltage along the line. I went and reset the breaker and found no change. I recommend the customer have an electrician come out and inspect the hardline and breaker.

"Arrived outside and inspected washer and found customer has already detached motor from mounting point. When washer is set to spin motor hums but does not move. Spoke with SW a new motor would be needed to correct issue

"Arrived onsite for oven not functioning after repair. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found cooktop functioning but neither oven would ignite. Opened supply completely and tested. Initially both ovens ignited. Noticed that when smaller oven was heating, the larger oven flame would reduce drastically. Also when ovens were in use the cooktop burners were lighting irregular. The lager oven was burner tube would also sputter. It seemed as if he unit was not receiving sufficient gas flow. When trying to run a secondary test the larger oven was having trouble igniting. It took 10-15 minutes to finally ignite but 45 minutes just to reach preheat temperature. Unit is having ignition and gas flow issues.

Arrived on site for washer needing previously diagnosed shock absorbers. Upon arrival installed required parts. Tested unit and found no failures or leaks.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I tested temps,in the FC=66 degrees & RC=54 degrees. Placed my gauges in the sealed system and tested the unit and found the compressor extremely hot to touch. The equalized pressures were good at 47psi. I tested the unit in diagnostics test #4. In subtest 3 pressures were high on the low side measuring at 325psi and -10 on the high side (photo). In subtest 4, low side =225psi and high side =+2 (photo). In subtest 5, low=275psi & high=-1. I inspected the FC and RC evaporators and found a ball of ice on both cap tubes and also found the suction line in the RC section badly corroded (photos). As I began to separate the cap tube from the suction line at the back of the unit, the cap tube broke (photo). I contacted techline and spoke to Bruce and advised of the complaint and my findings. Bruce provided SR#7734304397 and read a disclaimer. Bruce advised that the unit would be sent to engineering for review and someone would contact the customer in 24-48 hours. I advised the customer of my conversation with the manufacturer and provided them with the SR#. Unit reassembled and left unplugged for safety. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for washer inspected unit and work area. Tested unit in diagnostics and there where no stored error codes. I then tilted unit backwards and found oil all over the gearcase area. I replaced the gearcase belt splutch kit,actuator, and tested capacitor and it was not reading to specs.Re assembled unit ,tested and unit is operating as designed. Job completed. No leaks detected at the time of service."

Arrived on site for washer. Inspected unit and work area. Entered diagnostics and found no stored error codes. I then tested unit and found stator noises. I gained access to stator and found a bolt that hold the stator in place had backed out and was free spinning. I reinstalled bolt and then tested. Unit is now operating as designed. No leaks where observed during service. Job completed.

Arrived onsite for rand with bundle of wires sticking out from under control panel. Upon inspection I found that the wiring was good no exposed wires or pinched wires.I checked the functionality of the unit and found unit operating as designed job complete.

Arrived onsite for no ice and found water not turned on to unit. Turned water on to unit. All checks good. Advised office on repair.

"Arrived on site , replaced control. Preheated oven , all checked normal.

Arrived onsite for range with a front right burner that is not working. Upon inspection I found that the front right burner was burnt out. I replaced the burner and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for a rang that has a dented control panel. Upon arrival I installed new panel and tested unit and found unit operating as designed. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator not cooling. On arrival customer said freezer was cooling, but RC was not. Found evidence of an air leak around FC door, which allowed excess moisture to freeze in the return vents. Steamed ice out to allow unit to return to normal function and verified proper airflow. Unit is also in the garage, and is not a garage approved unit. Failures can also be due to cabinet getting overheated. Advised customer of findings and to make sure doors are fully closed. Call complete."

Arrived on site to install new heater per SP W11540964. Installed new element and tested unit. Verified no water leaks or damage. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to replace element per special project. Replaced element, unable to test as customer had unit pulled out and completely disconnected from power, drain and water. Also had wash motor removed. Did find old element had bushings missing causing leak. Obvious signs of leaks from element onto wash motor and framing. Recommend replacing sump assembly. Advised customer to contact whirlpool for additional repairs. Job complete."

"Arrived on site to test unit for not washing. Found drain pump not connected. Secured connection, tested unit, unit ran diagnostics no problem. Put unit into normal was cycle and unit advancing as designed. No leaks detected. Job complete."
