"Arrived on site for refrigerator that is not going the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Confirm the customers complaint and remove the evaporator cover. Found ice buildup inside of the air channel that leads down to the refrigerator section causing this issue. The customer advised that while she was on the line with customer service, they advised her to try to turn the temperature dial inside the freezer to allow more cold air into the refrigerator section. When she did this, the knob and stem broke off of the control. I did confirm this issue but I also found some of the tabs on the backside of the evaporator cover broken. Steamed out the iceman set the position to the recommended setting. Went to order the evaporator cover but found the part not listed properly. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to JR SR# 7733848868. He advised that the part number does not reflect the actual part number on the schematics and will need to be researched through our parts distributor. He advised to send in for research and that whirlpool and our distributor will find the necessary parts to order. "Arrived on site for washer tripping breaker during finale spin/drain cycle. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found breaker tripped with washer shut down. Found f5E2 lock failure. After further testing I found the following results100ohms (bad-lidlock j6-1&2) 21.3ohms (good-drain pump), motor windings were at 5.5ohms on arrival raised to 6.7-7.3ohms after a few tests and was over heating. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator with an ice maker with ice coming out in clumps. Upon arrival the customer stated the ice will come out as one big block as if it is overfilling in the IM tray. Upon further inspection I found a block like this in the IB. I checked temps in the unit and found the, good. I then put the unit into diagnostics mode and ran an IM harvest. I found it working as designed. I then ran the IB fan and an IM fill. Both ran as designed. This indicates a faulty IM calling for to much water needing replacement. We will return with the parts already on order. No fee collected due to being in our 1 year warranty. Office to reschedule.; O-emld tckt"

Arrived on site for a cooktop with the front left burner throwing an F113 error when turning it on. I tested the unit and was able to replicate this. Per the tech sheet this is an open temp sensor or main control issue. I gained access to the inside of the unit and found all connections/harness good. I ohmd out the temp sensor for the front left burner and found it open. This indicates a bad sensor. In order to repair the unit it will need a new front left burner assembly. Per the tech sheet if the error is still thrown after replacement it will also need a main control. Due to this I am ordering the main control to have on hand as well. "Arrived on site for a dishwasher not completing a cycle and with no water coming into the unit. Upon arrival the customer stated the soap will just sit at the bottom and not dissolve. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and activated all loads. I found the valve working as designed, but neither the wash motor nor blower energized at all. I activated both again while checking voltage to them and found good voltage. This indicates a bad wash motor and blower. Upon further inspection I found the rubber insulation on the bottom of the unit had separated from the tub and was breaking into pieces. I also found the valve fill hose was extremely kinked creating slow fill on the unit. In order to repair the unit it will need a new blower, motor, and fill hose. The insulation is not a separate part that can be repaired. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Continued with testing and tested amp draw to the components. I found the element showing 7-9amps during wash & drying cycles. Customer is using rinse aid. I found the drain filter covered in debris. I cleaned the filter and demonstrated to the customer on how to do it. Also, I found the door hinge pads are missing. Arrived on site for a cooktop that wont heat the right burner properly. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers complaint and found that the right front element would not turn on at all. Remove the cooktop and found the element had exploded inside the element causing a short and inability to heat the element. Replace the element and tested the unit. Found the element not turning on due to improper voltage being sent to the element. Replaced the ethernet switch and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite and found unit had frozen fresh food produce but responded positively to adjusting the thermostat. Advised customer on findings and provided customer instruct on using thermometers to monitor temps for proper operation. All checks good.

Arrived on site for dishwasher still leaking water. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found signs of water overfill under lower door seal at bottom of door and overfilling over the tub. Upon further inspection found no errors in diagnostics and one tub has a door there was not enough water in the tub to account for a bad valve but I did find that unit would overfill the door when in a heavy spray cycle indicating water could possibly be leaking from the motor or spring assemblies into the tub at high pressures in and out the door. Informed customer of findings.

Arrived on site for washer needing previously diagnosed rods. Upon arrival installed required part. Ran 2quick was cycles to insure tub would stay lvl and found no leaks or failures during tests.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator with no cool. Upon further inspection I found both compartments with no cool and no frost pattern. I also found the mullion significantly hotter than it should be and constantly running. I gained access to the back of the unit and found the compressor overheated and also constantly running. I checked amp draw to the compressor and found it at .8 amps. This indicates a control and SS failure. I also found the water line leaking at the valve, and a sign of a leak from the water line into the IM. Upon further inspection I I found the waterline to the IM actually cut in half. I informed the customer on my findings. The customer stated they were only trying to fix it temporarily before they remodel their kitchen.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine throwing error codes. Upon arrival the customer stated the unit is not working, and prior it would just randomly change cycles and never be accurate on the UI. I put the unit into diagnostic mode and found stored error code F6E2 for communication error and F2E1 for stuck button. I cleared the error codes. I then tried to run a diagnostics cycle and found the buttons not working properly and the selections not responding. Upon further inspection I found the gearcase had significant oil indicating a failing gearcase. In order to repair the unit it will need a console, control, gearcase, and slider. I informed the customer on my findings, and they just want to repair the console and control. I installed both parts and then tested the unit. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a range leaking gas. Upon arrival the customer showed me pictures of bubbling leak detector on the regulator. Upon further inspection I found a sever crack running down the regulator. I replaced the regulator and then tested the unit. I put leak detector on all connections again and could not find any leak. Arrived on site for refrigerator leaking water and not cooling. Upon arrival confirmed issue. Found unit unplugged. Verified stable power supply and restored power to unit. I then found all fans running as well as compressor. Found amps fluctuated between .8-1.3. Found evap coil frosting over onFront row only. Found separations between liner on both sides of compartments as well as liner damage in rc compartment. Also saw void in insulation behind unit. Unit cant be repaired due to liner damage. Will need findings reported to ahs.

Arrived on site dryer not turning on. Upon arrival confirmed issue. Found after further testing that unit had a stable 240v connection. I then found thermal fuse and cut off and blown and element coil was starting to bow and warp (caused from normal) causing the short in all 3 parts. I then reassembled and tested dryer. Found dryer heat cycling as designed with no failures or odd fluctuations in temp. Call complete

Arrived on site for washer not starting/operating. Upon arrival confirmed issue. Found power button was the only thing functioning on unit. After further testing I found between 65-170dcv being sent from ACU indicating major ACU failure. I then found cause of ACU failing was the drain motor ohming of 20ohms high shorted ACU out.

"Arrived on site for a range with the middle front burner not lighting intermittently. Upon arrival the customer stated the back middle also does it sometimes. I tested the unit and could not get the front middle to light at all, but I found the back middle lighting most of the time. I removed both middle burner heads and found the orifice holders on both were off center. This was creating a small gap between the orifice holder and panel which was allowing the gas to abnormally escape and not light. I removed the screws and adjusted both orifice holders. I then tested the unit and found it now working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a wall oven that was letting to much heat escape from the door. Upon arrival the customer stated that an inspector checked temps around the oven when heated and found them to high, particularly on the bottom. Upon further inspection I found the gasket in good shape. I preheat the unit to 350?F and found it good. I informed the customer on the design of the blower system, and how hot air does blow from the bottom. I found the unit working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a refrigerator leaking from the filter area. Upon arrival the customer had the unit off and the filter removed. I gained access to the valve and filter head. I then turned the water on and found water aggressively leaking from the back of the filter head. I replaced the filter head and then tested the unit. I found the unit no longer leaking at the time of service and working as designed. The customer also had a complaint of the unit being louder than it used to be. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and activated all fans and the compressor. I could not replicate an abnormal noise at the time of service. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for dryer noise. Found slight rattle. Determined cause to be improper install. Made adjustments to correct install. All checks good. Unit is now operating as designed.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator leaking water. Upon arrival the customer stated the unit began leaking water due to no cooling and things melting. The customer had already tried replacing the start device but found no change. I checked temps and found the FC at 50?F and the RC at 57?F. The customer informed me the unit has been plugged in and running for several days. Upon further inspection I found no frost pattern on either evap. I gained access to the back of the unit and used the test switch on the PCB to run the compressor. I measured amp draw and found it fluctuating from .1 to .3, and found the compressor cool to the touch. This indicates a compressor failure. In order to repair the unit it will need a new compressor, main control, dye drier, and an access valve.

Arrived on sight for a cooktop with an abnormal flame. Upon arrival the customer stated they had their one year inspection and the inspector informed them the flames may be irregular. I tested the unit and found it worked as designed. I informed the customer on my findings. Call complete.

I proceeded to check component and found deli drawer control no powering up, I removed it and found corrosion build up in the control and door harness and I also checked the main harness to deli and will have to be replaced and drip pan as well. Leveling the unit took care of the issue and door seals correctly. Job complete

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is giving off an error code for hot water coming in during the rinse cycle. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complaint and tested he valves. Found the hot and cold water both bringing in proper temperature. Check the resistance value of the thermistor and found it registering 3.3 ohms of resistance (over 160?F). It was the customer the issues with his Inlet thermistor. Replaced whole valve assembly drawer and tested the unit. The end it began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for leak. Filled unit up and verified tub was not leaking. No leaks from hoses. Drain not backed up. No signs of any leaks from anywhere. Customer stated she opens and closes lid to try to get as much as water in as possible. Advised customer on how unit senses loads and fills accordingly. Strongly advised against doing that and to just allow unit to fill on load sensed. Ran multiple diagnostic cycles and found no issues with unit. No leaks detected. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher leaking water from underneath the unit. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Continued with testing and when the drain pump came on, the drain hose began to leak at the joint where the hose with the check valve and the hose going to the drain under the sink. I disconnected the hoses and found that the hose going to the drain under the sink had collapsed due to the clamp being placed on too tight and began to leak. I removed and replaced the hose and adjusted the clamp and retested the unit. The unit is operating as designed and no further leaks. I contacted the owner and advised of my findings and repairs. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed."
