Arrived on site for refrigerator making loud noise and slightly creating random frost in fc. Upon arrival confirmed noise. I then found cause of noise was due to lowside return line making contact with back cover panel. After readjusting line and adding sound pads I then reassembled and tested unit. Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not finishing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the unit seems to stop about 12 to 13 minutes from the end of the cycle but that it only happens periodically. She advised that she can run two loads of clothes through just fine and then the third cycle may error out. Ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored air codes. Ran through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. Tested the unit and a normal wash cycle and found the unit working as designed. Spoke to SW and ran through a couple checks. We could not find anything. Was advised to then called Techline. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Austin SR# 7733917918. He advised that based on all my testing and the suspension testing that the issue would have to be due to a loading issue or an oversuds issue. The customer stated that the unit seemed to go off balance before stopping. I asked the customer the type of Lowes that she was running and she advised that she was washing bedding and blankets. I did advise the customer that those loads can go off balance due to uneven weight throughout the basket. Advise the customer to shorten their drain hose due to extended drain hose and went over loading. The unit assumingly working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. Opened up the freezer and found the freezer ice cold and multiple items completely frozen through. Took temperature reading and found the freezer sitting at 12?F. Took a temperature of the refrigerator and found the refrigerator at 47?F. Took a look at the frost pattern on the evaporator and found a good frost pattern. Spoke to SW and ran through a few checks. Did find the condenser coils caked in lint buildup. Removed the lint buildup and was advised the issue would not be a sealed system issue due to amp draw being 1.24 A and slowly dropping. The unit is in it garage with no air-conditioning and was advised the issue is most likely with the overload kicking off the refrigerator during several portions of the day. "Arrived on site for a dishwasher throwing an error code at the end of the cycle. Upon arrival the customer stated the cycle will run and right before the end it will begin beeping without finishing. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F8E2 for inlet valve electrical problem, F9E1 for no drain, FAE1 for dispenser electrical problem, and FAE2 for vent wax motor problem. I then ran a diagnostics cycle and found all components activated as designed except the fan motor. I gained access to the control and found excess water/condensation in that area due to the fan not working. I could not replicate the failure the customer was experiencing. However, I let them know it is possible that after enough condensation builds up in there throughout the cycle it could short something out that stops the cycle.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is warming up in the refrigerator section and has frost buildup in the freezer. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customer complaint and remove the evaporator cover. Found the heater connectors disconnected. Found the issue is with the tension on the freezer evaporator harness causing an excess strain on those connector pieces when tied together. Went ahead and remove one of the zip ties holding some of the lines together to free up some extra line space. Reconnect the connectors and check resistance through the bimetal and the heater. Both are within range. Checked at the control board and found proper resistance. Advise the customer the issue was probably just with the heater being disconnected. Ordering the motor, capacitor, and lower harness for the repair. Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is leaking from the icemaker area. Inspected unit and work area. Found that the ice door gaskets were not sealing properly and moisture forming around the heater facia assembly. Checked voltage going to the heater during test 19. Found proper voltage. Ran through a harvest test and found the icemaker harvesting as designed with no leaks present. Filled the icemaker tray and did not notice any overflowing. Did find the gasket fully seated around the cabinet with no leaks. Found no evidence of frosting inside the freezer. Advised to the customer to the unit is working and ceiling as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that has water at the bottom of the dishwasher whenever they go to run it. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit will drain but hes having standing water inside the dishwasher the next time he goes to wash his dishes. Check the drain hose installation and found that it was not looped higher than the garbage disposal and was running straight downhill from the garbage disposal into his dishwasher. Ran the unit through a test cycle and found the unit working as designed. I did advise the customer that the issue was with their drain hose extension being too short and going downhill from the garbage disposal leading to water siphoning into the dishwasher when they fill up their sink with water. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a microwave that is not turning on the over the counter light. Inspected unit and work area. Tested the unit and found the light working as designed. The customer advised that her contractor had called this morning due to that issue and the fan is not running either. Did test operation on both fan and light multiple times with the unit working as designed. Did advise that they can power cycled the unit to try to see if theres an issue with the control getting hung up. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.
