"Arrived on site to follow up on range oven not working. Upon arrival, I contacted techline and spoke to Nate and advised of the original complaint, my findings and customer concerns. I advised Nate of the poor install on the vendors installation crew behalf where they failed to tighten the power cord harness at the terminal block and installing the lower rear panel backwards causing it to touch the bake element connections/harness and short the control, weld the element connections to the panel and trip the standard breaker (not GFCI). Nate sent me a text to my phone and I provided photos of my findings. Nate advised that it is definitely an installation issue and provided SR#7740067449 and referred me to her Safety Team due to the unit tripping the breaker. I spoke to Amanda with the Safety Team and provided the same info I gave to techline and provided the SR number as well. Amanda advised that she would need to contact the customer and get more info from them and would decide how to resolve the issue afterwards. Amanda provided Ref #7740067505. I advised the customer of my conversations and provided them with both the SR number and the Safety Ref number. I advised that once the issue is resolved, someone would contact our office to either schedule return service to repair the unit or advise the unit would be replaced. "Arrived on site to inspect wall oven door damage. Upon further inspection, I found the unit in a vacant/new build home and the bottom oven door trim was badly scratched (photo). I removed and replaced the outer door glass/trim and re-installed the door. Tested operations and unit is operating as designed. Job completed. No one available to sign for the receipt. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator leaking water. Upon further inspection, the customer pointed out that when they get water from the dispenser, water leaks at the bottom left corner of the FC door. I removed the toeplate and found the coupler is the incorrect size and the water line from the door to the coupler is leaking. I removed and replaced the coupler and retested and unit is operating as designed with no further leaks. Customer pointed out that the FC door handle was never pitted and since the FC door was replaced recently, they found the handle pitted/damaged (photos). I notified the office and am ordering the handle. Also, when opening the FC door and then closing it, the open door light stays on for approximately ten seconds once the doo r is closed. I cycled power to,the unit to reset the controls and retested and it is operating as designed. I am ordering the FC door handle and scheduled return service for 10/11/24. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher leaking water. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit continues to leak from the vent area when they open the door to remove their dishes. Customer advised that even after a day of sitting after a wash cycle is complete, the unit will still leak water from the vent. Opened the door 90 degrees and water dripped from the vent area. Customer advised it will be more water intermittently. I checked the vent inside the outer door panel and the gasket is in place and there is a lot of moisture built up inside (photo). Also found water inside the vent itself by looking into the vent cover on the inner door panel (photo). I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Unit operated as designed. I contacted techline and spoke to Aaron and advised of the complaint, history and my findings. Aaron walked me though the setting of the vent and we found it had been reset to the correct setting. Aaron advised to not install any new parts and he was documenting the info and submitting to Engineering for review. Aaron provided SR#7740070675. I advised the customer that will hear from the manufacturer is approximately 48-72 hours on a resolution for this unit. I provided the SR number to my customer. Other than the vent leaking, no other water leaks observed during service, job completed. No parts installed."

"Arrived on site for unit making noise. No need to go to leasing office, office only open one day a week. Unit is located in Apartment 901 and belongs to the tenant. On arrival customer stated unit will not start. Inspected and found broken door switch. Will need to order door switch and returning with repair kit. Tried bypassing door switch to run and could not duplicate any noise. Tech to retest once door switch is installed. Set to return Friday the 11th. "MED4500MW0 Arrived to repair terminal block issue. I found the L2 (red) connector was not tightened and resulted in a highly resistive connection, which caused excessive heat to burn the terminal block and immediate wiring. Using the MFG supplied repair kit and customer supplied cord, I replaced the L2 and chassis GND leads and tested. The machine resumed all normal functions and airflow was good."

MDB4949SHZ0 Arrived to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Service test mode had 6-1 and 6-4 stored and were cleared for testing. I replaced the failed heating element and then removed debris from within the pump assembly and the lower door seal. The machine resumed normal operation and no leaks were observed during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit makes a gurgling noise when the fresh food doors are opened and sometimes even when they are closed. I opened the left RC door and immediately the damper control started opening and the customer identified the noise. Also, I found the RC ice maker is over filling as there is water running out of the tray down the front of the fascia and ice bin door (photos). Also found the ice bin door gasket is badly crimped. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked for ice maker error codes in test 56 and found E2-ice maker lost position. I tested temps in the FC=7 degrees and RC=39 degrees. I advised the customer of my findings and am ordering the RC ice maker, HV control, and ice bin door and will return with all prescreened parts. Scheduled return service for 10/11/24. RETURNING TECH TO REPLACE THE RC ICE MAKER, DAMPER CONTROL, ICE BIN DOOR AND HV CONTROL. Other than the ice maker overflowing, no other water leaks observed during service. "Arrived on site for dishwasher not cleaning or finishing cycles properly. On rival found f7e2, f10e2. Found motor failing and replaced W11460946 motor. Found unit would run normal cycle but still stopped about 5-7 minutes into cycle. Found repeat f10e2 error reappeared and disassembled door. Reported findings to whirlpool techline Sr#7740070333. Was informed unit would need a ui contorl, ACU, and wax vent motor and customer would need to contact customer service through whirlpool before any repairs can be made. Call complete"

"Arrived on site to test unit for motor always running. Upon arrival customer stated they had to unplug the unit in order to turn off the motor. Plugged unit in and immediately drain pump engaged and would not turn off indicating a pressure system fault. Inspected pressure hose, found no kinks, punctures or restrictions. Replaced control (W11038689) and tested unit, upon power up the drain pump no longer automatically engages. Ran a diagnostic cycle, all components are properly engaging and unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete."

"On arrival verified complaint of tripping breaker. On arrival inspected unit and found no signs of arcs or damage. Visual inspection of the harness shows no signs of damage. Terminal block is wired correctly and is tight twists in power cord removed. Verified voltage and polarity are correct. Removed power cord from wall. Replaced Bake and broil elements and main control. Checked continuity between element casings and terminals and found OL. Removed ground strap. Reconnected power. Ran bake element and broil elements in diag test activation then ran bake cycle at 500 with ground strap off for 30 mins. Verified amp draw was under 16amps max. Stopped cycle, disconnected power,and reattached ground wire. "Arrived on site to test unit for clicking noise. Upon arrival activated bake cycle, when blower fan engages you can hear a ticking sound. Activated fan and confirmed it is the blower fan. Removed unit from cavity and exposed blower fan, when moving it by hand the ticking is still there. Noticed screw that is securing the louvre is too long, pushing the blower fan housing and making it cockeyed causing fan scroll to contact the housing and make a constant tick. Removed screw and replaced with a slightly shorter screw. Reinstalled unit and tested, noise has been eliminated. Unit is now running as designed, no parts installed, job complete."

Upon arrival customer stated a few weeks ago there was a noticeable difference in the drying causing them to have to keep the door open to air dry. Tested unit found heater is not engaging during cycle. Took resistance on the heater, heater is reading open. Replaced heater (W10518394) and tested unit, unit is now heating properly. Customer also had a complaint of the wheels falling off the bottom rack. Inspected unit found hard water has made the plastic brittle causing them to break. Will need to order wheels for bottom rack. Found that bracket that holds switches in place was broken so that when the paddle was depressed only a quick burst of water would flow, and then the switch would fall forward, which would stop dispensing. Checked ice dispenser side for functionality and found it functioning however, food is stacked to where it is interfering with the spindle rod and disrupting the dispensing process. WRT318FZDW11 Arrived to inspect noise. I found the condenser fan making contact with the shroud. I was able to secure the fan motor assembly and stop the issue. I added additional sound dampening material. No water connections to unit.

WRS325SDHZ11 Arrived to correct fill tube issue. I installed an extension to prevent overflow and subsequent formation of ice within the evaporator area and tested. I removed ice formed from the prior service and tested. The issue was resolved and the machine operated as designed. No leaks observed during service.

Reached out to customer prior to service. Customer informed me that maintenance came out and fixed their issue already and no services were rendered. Call completed.

Arrived onsite for washer not advancing cycle. Upon arrival I noticed that when unit was plugged in drain pump would just run. I took off the water pressure line and even with it removed the washer continuously drains. The control on the unit is bad and will need to be replaced. Ordering W11607637 CNTRL. Sent to claims thread to confirm, unit is in warranty. Found notices from the gas company stating unit is leaking gas. Inspected all components and fittings with gas detector, found a slight leak at the regulator and 2 leaks at the left front and rear orfice holder. Will need to order orfice holders and on return visit replace regulator, front and rear left orfice holder and two left gas valves as precautionary. "Arrived on site to test unit for gas smell. Upon arrival input m/s, unit is in warranty until 12/24. Customer stated she got dizzy from the strong gas smell while using the oven. No smell when the unit is not in use. Tested unit found oven burner tube flame has orange flames and the air to gas ratio is not correct causing a lot of unburned gas to leak into the atmosphere. Inspected burner tube air shutter and noticed it open too far. Adjusted shutter to about 15% open, ignited burner tube, flame is burning blue and is 1/8 away from the burner tube. Smell has been eliminated and customer approved the improvement. Unit is now running as designed. Advised to customer that a slight gas smell will always be normal so run the vent hood while oven is in use. If gas smell does not dissipate after 2 hours than call the office. No leaks detected, no parts installed, job complete."

"Arrived on site to test unit for tripping breaker after 5 minutes. Upon arrival started a cycle, after 10 minutes unit did not trip. Started a restarted a timed dry cycle multiple times, then left it running. After 45 minutes unit did not trip the breaker. Intermittent issue may be due to the breaker. Advised maintenance supervisor to replace the breaker if issue persists. If breaker is replaced and issue still persists advised to contact WP customer service team. "Arrived on site to test unit for buzzing noise. Upon arrival customer stated unit will make a vibration that varies in volume and time frames. Inspected unit found when evaporator fan motor is engaged there is a buzz coming from the shroud and the evap cover. Removed cover, added permagum to evap motor bracket to dampen any vibrations and also added permagum and sound pads (W11113654) to evap cover. Reinstalled all components and tested, vibration sound has dampened and noise has been eliminated. Customer approved improvement. Unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete."

I pulled apart the dryer and found the belt sheered and stuck inbetween the idler. I replaced the belt and pulley idler and the unit is now turning with no issue. Unit is operating as designed. Arrived onsite for dishwasher with F4 error. Upon arrival I found the unit to have a FA E4 code present. The diverted cannot find position. I replaced the pump and motor and issue still persist. I replaced the control and now the unit runs with no issue. No water leaks present at time of service. Call complete. Installed W11460945 PUMP&MOTOR AND W11683133 CNTRL-ELEC.

Arrived onsite for washer tripping breaker. Upon arrival customer stated first month he had it it was working good and after the first month it started tripping more and more frequently. I found the voltage to the washer to be good at 120v. I ran three diagnostic cycles which showed the washer had no errors stored. The unit ran all three cycles with no issue leading to a breaker weakening and needing to be replaced. The washer is operating as designed at this time. No water leaks present at time of service. Call complete. No parts installed.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not draining. Upon arrival I could hear the drain pump operating normally but no water to be pulled out of the tub. I inspected the drain hose and found it to be in tact. I inspected the inside of the disposal and found the block plate to be still inside the disposal not allowing drain to occur. I took out the block plate and the unit is now draining as designed. No water leaks present at time of service. Call complete. No parts installed.

"Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher that is not cleaning well. On arrival customer clarified that it does wash well most of the time, but sometimes it will leave dishes a little dirty, but fully dirty like it didn't wash. I tested the unit for errors and found no error codes. Load that was in there had come out clean. Advised to make sure water is hot when running the dishwasher, and to add some rinse aid. No rinse aid can also cause water stains on the dishes. Ran diagnostic cycle and found no failures, all mechanical items working properly. Could not duplicate any issues. Call completed."

"Arrived on site to follow up on dryer making a thumping sound when running and spinning. I removed the drum and found a wad of felt / glue was stuck in the groove where the roller sits, causing the noise. I removed the debris and sanded down the weld lines. Verified no further thumping or abnormal noises present. Apt has a bad breaker in it, so I could not test the unit with power. I did test by hand turning the drum and found no problems. Repair completed. No parts needed."

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator making abnormally loud noises when running. Tested unit and found evap fan was good, but when the compressor kicks on you can hear a gnarly rattling. Examined the compressor and tubing and found the condenser lines were directly contacting eachother and rattling. Bent the lines so they were no longer touching and unit started working correctly with no abnormal noises. Repair completed, no parts needed."

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed console. Once console was on, I found an F6E1 error for ACU / UI communication. Replaced ACU along with console. Tested and verified proper function. Advised to make sure vents get cleaned regularly and hose is connected, or lint can damage electronics. Unit is working as designed at this time. "Arrived on site to inspect wall oven control panel unresponsive. Upon further inspection, I found the panel display blank. Checked the breaker (GFCI) and found it turned on and not tripped. Cycled power for approximately one minute and checked unit and found the display is still blank. I gained access to the main control and UI control and tested voltage. I found 14.19BDC at the UI harness to main control P1-1 to P1-4. I tested voltage at the main control points K3-1 to K11-1 and got 249V. Following the tech sheet for control panel failure and based off my voltage readings/testings, the control panel has failed. I am ordering the control panel and scheduled return service for 10/14/24. Unit power turned off at the breaker for safety. No one available to sign for receipt/vacant new build home. No parts installed today.; schdld next appmnt for 10/14 MON !"

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer that was throwing errors and not finishing cycles. Checked errors and found F3E3, F0E3, F8E1, F1E2, F8E6. Motor and overload may be tied together, and unit also had slow fill. I replaced the control and valve both, due to the number of errors that were acting fine in diagnostics. I also explained the console was super dirty and likely triggering button presses. When I run a normal cycle the unit will start to fill, and then stop filling, with the valves still humming like they are running. If you let it sit for a bit it feels almost like water is breaking through and will start to fill again. This likely indicates a pressure issue coming into the unit on both sides, since voltage going to valves does not change / drop, the supply just stops. I decreased pressure at the wall valves to try and mitigate this. Unit continued to fill after and should be working as designed. Parts used - W11413407, W11510463."

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven door wont close. Upon further inspection, I found the unit door laying on the dining table and the left hinge popped and not locked into place (photos). Inspected the hinge receivers and found no damage to either one. I moved the door to the kitchen counter lying on my work towel and removed and replaced the hinges and placed the door back on the unit and tested. "Arrived on site to inspect range oven not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit in bake and broil and the ignitor failed in both tests. I tested voltage at the harness from the control and found 120V then it dropped to 0 and I heard the control relay click twice. I ohmed the ignitor and found it open. I removed and replaced the ignitor and retested and the unit continued to fail. I removed and replaced the main control and retested and unit is operating as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not operating. Upon further inspection, I found the control panel functioning and placed the unit in diagnostics showing error codes F9E1, F9E2, F8E4. Cleared the codes and continued with testing and the unit is operating as designed. I gained access to the drip pan while testing and found water in the drip pan causing the float switch to engage and recognize a water leak. I removed the drip pan and cleaned the water from it. I went to clean the float switch float and found too much detergent on the float; therefore, I removed and replaced the float switch assembly and retested. Unit is operating as designed. I found a large amount of build up on the element and made recommendations for use and care, as well as detergent, rinse aid, and cleaning solution use. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed. W11545764"

Arrived on site to test unit for customer heating sparking when heating stuff. Found customer using the interior rack for double heating. Advised customer to remove the rack unless hes double heating something on the bottom and something on the rack. Small sparking from the corner of the rack due to not having 2 loads in the unit. Removed rack and ran a test and no sparking job complete.

Wont spin out unless you put it on drain and spin. Found suspension is starting to wear out and basket is becoming bouncy. Ran a diagnostic cycle, noticed water pressure coming into the basket is extremely low. All other components properly engaged. Removed water lines and found cold side of the valve clogged with calcium buildup causing improper water flow. Unit will need suspension and valve to fix issue.
