"Dance out for a refrigerator that is tripping the breaker. Inspected unit and work area. Found the unit completely dead upon arrival. The customer advised that there soon as the unit is plugged in, it tripped the breaker. Checked all wiring for any grounded, wires or failed components. Cannot find any. I took off the ground wire off the power plug from the unit and plug the unit in. Found the unit working and operating as designed without tripping the breaker. I called Whirlpool tech line and spoke to Ed SR# 7738116047. Advised that the only two things that would cause the unit to do that would be the control or with the GFCI breaker. Advised that since the ground wire was removed from the backside of the cabinet that they could not be with the control as they would still trip the breaker and that as long as the unit is working right now, the issue is fine. Advised if issue comes back, the customer will need to update their refrigerator to a standard outlet. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for washer leaking water on casual cycle. Upon arrival confirmed failure and found water leaking from valve. Customer also stated they seen more water leaking but only when they had used the casual cycle. Replaced valve and reset unit. Tested unit in diagnostics and found no issues. Then ran a casual cycle and found pressure switch starting to fail and tub filling all the way up. Found no breaks or failure in pressure hose or tub. Found unit would get stuck in continuous flood mode while drain pump was at 20.2 ohms. Informed customer er not to use machine due to control failure . Ordering W11170317 control. Arrived onsite for a dishwasher that the panel will not respond correctly on. The customer stated the machine had stopped working and was displaying a code but after a few days it started working again. I found a stored F8E4 error code. I found no water leaks on the machine while running diagnostics. I went over detergent and rinse aid use with the customer and showed them how to adjust the rinse aid dosage on the control. At this time the machine is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop burners not working. Upon further inspection, the customer showed me the back right burner knob was broken and wouldnt turn the valve stem. I tested all burners and they are operating as designed. I was advised by the office that the knob is considered cosmetic and the customer would need to contact the manufacturer to replace. "Arrived to inspect power loss. The customer advised the issue was intermittent, but has increased in frequency greatly, in the last few weeks. Service mode showed F6E4 stored and I cleared for service and testing. I found during service test mode operations, if the microwave door was opened, it would trigger, but not save, an F4E1. After triggered, the unit would not run any accessible tests. Further inspection revealed the lower spacers on each side of the frame had been removed, causing the unit to sit on the lower air guide (not designed or the units weight) and also the lower front vent. This was causing the machine to lean backwards and had damaged the microwave interlocks, creating odd errors. The lower metal trim for the vent area was missing as well. I just the unit in manual diagnostics attempting to agitate or spin and found the unit buzzing, but would not agitate or spin. Spun the basket by hand, and found no abnormality. Checked resistance through the shifter and the motor from the control and found proper resistance. "WRS321SDHZ08 Arrived to inspect cooling issue. I found the unit as cooling, but it had fully frozen the evaporator. In service test mode, the defrost system worked as expected, but the defrost thermistor showed an open load. I steamed out the frost/ice and found the thermistor read correctly and after reseating the plug,the issue was resolved and the control then showed the thermistor in circuit. I found the connector for the defrost heater had separated due to excessive ice,but was still making contact, but was damaged. The heater sent out and shown in the BOM is of a different type that does not have the connector. I will confer with tech support and determine the issue with the different wiring. I was able to remove the filter and upon inspection, found the door in serviceable condition and reinstalled. The ice maker had stopped production and upon inspection, I found it had fractured and popped out of place. I removed and replaced the ice maker and the unit regained all normal functions. No leaks observed during service."

The customer advised that when the installer got the water line and drain hose connected and the unit plugged in, it began to show an error code. I attempted several times to clear the code but it failed. I tested the float switch and could not hear it making the clicking noise when its engaged. Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator. The items in the RC are freezing. I found the center mullion towards the bottom not flat and overlapped causing the doors not to seal properly. I called Whirlpool techline and spoke with Chris 7738104382. I documented my findings and sent photos. Chris will submit the file for review and the customer will be contacted with a resolution. Arrived on site to inspect gas range. The customer informed me while baking she smells a gas smell. The gas was not shut off and upon arrival I smelled no gas. I tested the cooktop and found everything working properly. I ran a bake cycle to 350 and verified the burner igniting properly. I watched the bake burner ignite multiple times with no issues. I bubble tested all gas connections and found no leaks. I instructed the customer that when the bake burner ignites not all gas ignites and some will escape the oven. This is normal. The unit is operating as designed at this time. No gas leaks detected during service. I called Whirlpool Safety and spoke with Eric I documented my findings 7738051298.

Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. I verified the issue. I tested voltage at the outlet. I found 120 on L1 and L2 but I did not find 240VAC across them. I reset the breaker and still did not find 240. I tested all fuses and thermostats and found good readings. The heating element is good as well. After further testing I found the power cord that plugs into the wall is loose in the wall receptacle. After wiggling the plug it now heats properly. I instructed the customer to get the outlet replaced to resolve the issue.

Arrived on site for not making ice and ice bucket has sheet of ice . Ran harvest and found water pouring down from icemaker into bucket . Found small chunk of ice blocking shoot in IM cup. Removed ice maker . Cleaned up fill tube and straighten out . Waited and didnt detect any dripping . Replaced IM and re ran harvest . No leaking detected . Put on site for a dishwasher that is not recirculating the water. Inspected unit and work area. I did confirm an F4 E3 (wash motor failure) error code. I ran the unit through an auto test and confirmed the wash motor would not run. I replaced the wash motor assembly and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop middle burner not working. Upon further inspection, I tested all of the burners and found all but the middle burner are operating as designed. I found the middle burner will lose its flame when switching from medium to simmer flames. Using a valve from my van stock (W11246817), I removed and replaced the middle burner valve and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

Arrived on site to inspect unit for catching on fire in cavity and to document with safety. Found broil element shorted causing fire. Cleaned white residue off cabinet and no signs of damage to cabinet. Found no excessive grease or any build up on element or surrounding cabinet to cause issue. Documented findings with safety and was advised to use autho W19U490WPL1 to cover any and all repairs. Replaced top oven broil element and tested both ovens to 350 with no issues. Job complete. Arrived onsite for a cooktop to replace the previous diagnosed parts recommended by techline. I replaced the orifice holder and the burner caps. I tested the center burner and it improved it a lot but if the gas is set in just the right position which is just a little higher than simmer it will make the puff sound occasionally. The customer is happy with the way it is performing now and agrees its a lot better than before. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer dispenser holding water. Upon further inspection , the customer advised the fabric softener dispenser is holding water. Raised the lid to inspect and found a small amount of water in the dispenser reservoir and also found some old softener as well. I raised the top panel to gain access to the dispenser and found the port where the water flows out into the basket had old softener debris inside (photo). Using a Qtip, I attempted to clear the debris but was unable to get all of it out. Also found the Load & Go dispenser is leaking detergent. When I went to pull the unit out further p, I found a small amount of water on the floor at the front left corner. I found that when the softener dispenser is dispensing into the basket, its spraying out and running down the inside of the side panels and onto the floor due to the build up of softener in the dispenser. I advised the customer of my findings and they advised they have a water softener system. I am ordering the faucet switch assembly and UI fascia and CNOTE-LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST and scheduled return service for 01/01/24 (KC). I will return with prescreened parts. No water leaks observed at the end of service and I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and softener use.; ordrng 1 W11569112 (Faucet switch assembly) and 1 W11478525 (UI fascia) and 1 CNOTE (LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST)"
