Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with a freezer door that is hard to open. I found the left rail glide completely missing causing the inner rail and door rail to rub metal on metal and I found the right side glide falling apart and causing the glide to bind on the rail when closing the door. I found none of the rails or glides available and all the parts discontinued. I explained to the customer if he wanted to fix the unit he would have to go and get the glides custom cut and made then he would have to attach them to the existing rails.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is over freezing food in the FC. I tested the compartment temp and found the FC cycling between 0-2 degrees with it set to 0 degrees. Ms said things were to frozen and hard in the FC. I raised the temp to 5 degrees and explained to the customer that I would not set it any warmer than that because it could start affecting ice production depending on how long the door was left open at times. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a cooktop with a rough surface. I found the cooktop with a number 4 finish. I showed the customer the replacement cooktop and it had the same finish so we didnt change it out. I went over what to use to clean it and cure the top and explained to rub with the grain. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a dryer that wont turn on. I found the unit is installed with a new style GFCI 240VAC breaker and it was tripped. I checked the wiring at the back of the unit and found it correct. I reset the breaker and tested the dryer finding it working as designed. I explained to Ms that if it trips again I would have the electrician come out and check the wiring connections at the outlet and the circuit breaker. Call complete.

This unit is the type that has the bleach dispenser cup at the big front that drips down into the tub. I did explain to the customer that using the top right hand corner dispenser can sometimes do that just because water flows down into the tub ring and into the tub. Did advise the customer to run an extra rinse on clothes using bleach due to this issue. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found no stored error codes. Ran the unit for an auto test and the unit ran as designed. Went over user guide in the unit is working as designed. Call complete.

In order to repair the unit it will need a new cam, gearcase, belt, and actuator.

The customer advised that a couple weeks ago, the unit was filling with water when it was not in use and was filling and draining at the same time. She was advised to power cycled the unit and since then, the unit has been working as designed. I asked how many clothes cycles theyve been able to run without an issue and she advised that it was well over 10. She just wanted to have the unit checked out anyway since they already the service fee. I did speak to MS and confirmed that they had already with their warranty company. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F3 E2 (inlet water temperature fault) and F0 E4 (spin limited by water temperature) error codes. Ran the unit through a cycle and the unit ran as designed. Did check water temperatures by running a manual fill test and found warm water coming in the unit when calling for cold water and hot water coming in the unit when running the hot water valve. She did advise that during the summer months, their cold water is not cold. I did explain to the customer that that can cause issues with her cycle finishing completely. Went over user care guide and the unit is working as designed. Call complete."
