"Arrived on site for an oven that is flashing an F6 E4 (User Interface and ACU mismatch) error code. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit had been installed early last week and after the installers left, they went to use the oven and it tripped the breaker three times. They had an electrician out and the electrician advised that the issue was with the unit. She advised that since it had tripped, there was no power to the unit. Went to flip on the breaker and found the breaker immediately tripping when the unit was turned on. Ordering the controls, user interface, and harness for repair. Arrived onsite for a dryer with clothing wet at the end of a cycle. Mr stated that is not the issue and the actual issue is it will not heat at all. I tested voltage at the 3 wire outlet and had 123VAC from L1 to G but had 0 VAC from L2 to G. I found L2 tripped at the breaker. I reset the breaker and tested the dryer and all is working as designed. The breaker panel is GE and is from the late 70s and the outlet is old and has some black markings. I went over this with the customer and explained with the breaker catching the midday sun and west sun the panel is getting hot. I explained that all these things could be a factor with it tripping. Call complete.

"Arrived to inspect control panel too hot. I set the unit to 350 and tested the internal exhaust flu temperature and it was 305. The control panel area directly above measure at 140. I advised the CX that even though it is quite hot, it is normal and expected for this model of unit and there is not a way to lower the exhaust temperatures and how they affect the control panel area. The CX mentioned the excessive heat under the wall mounted cabinets and surrounding area and I advised them that use of the microwave hood above the unit will greatly reduce the heat and was able to demonstrate how much heat was pulled from the area. Operational test good, no gas leaks detected during service."

"Temp RC 40*-FZ-12*on arrival. Arrived for dispenser issue, during testing water flow was initially slow. After a few seconds, it went to acceptable levels, denoting ice flushed from the chiller. I found the cabinet was very out of square and the doors could not seal completely. The lower mullion area was slightly deformed, not allowing the gasket to completely to seal. I squared the cabinet and the doors to match and tamped the mullion into place. Gasket now fully contacting, I sealed the gapping in the door opening-to-liner with manufacturing sealant. Stopping the air leaks, the over cooling RC section should now be eliminated,preventing further chiller freezing. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived on site for dryer making a thumping noise. I inspected the unit and work area. I spun the drum by hand and could hear rattling from the drum bearing. I inspected the bearing and found a screw stuck between the bearing and the drum. I removed the screw and repeated the bearing. I tested the unit and found it working as designed. No abnormal noise. I inspected the unit and found the lp conversion correct and the burners igniting properly. I spoke to the customer about the caps needing to be seated properly and if they have a burner that won't ignite to wiggle the cap and see of it falls into place. The unit is working as designed. Inspected drain hose and found knock out was never completely removed when dishwasher was originally installed. After removing remaining knock out water flow is still weak when viewed at garbage disposal. Cleaned out drain hose with shot back and it is still weak. Removed the back panel and tested the thermal fuse and found it bad. I disassembled the unit and found the rollers, idler pulley and belt are bad I removed and replaced the two rollers and cleaned the axles, replaced the idler pulley and belt. Cleaned the lint from the unit (photos-before/after) and reassembled. Removed and replaced thermal fuse and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."

Cycled power and retested voltage at the outlet and got 247V. Using my vent test kit, I tested airflow and found two out of two tests passed. I removed the back panel and tested the fuse, cutoffs, thermostat and element and all checked good. Removed the element and found the middle plate beginning to warp. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not cooling properly. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the RC=44 on a setting of 40 and the FC=5 degrees. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the thermistors and found in test 39 the RC evap thermistor was shorted. I pulled the unit out and tested the evap thermistor and found 24.5kohms at 2.27VDC which is way out of range. Tested the RC thermistor and found it at 2.87VDC & 6.7kohms. I removed and replaced the RC evap motor harness, secured the evaporator to the back wall, foil taped and ziptied the evap thermistor to the suction line and sealed off the back panel of the evap cover with permagum and re-positioned the RC evap drip pan shims. Reassembled the RC section and sealed the gaps in the liner to chassis with silicone. Checked all door gaskets and were sealed properly and leveled the unit. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
