"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I found the RC section at approximately 54 degrees and the FC section still cooling properly. I found the deli control not operating and inspected the control and harness and found all five wires of the harness broken (photo). I found the RC evap drip pan badly warped and the evap motor harness will need to be replaced. Also found both RC doors badly sagging causing the gaskets to be gapped and allowing warm air inside the RC section. I advised the customer of the issues found and advised of the parts needed to complete repairs (deli harness, hv control, UI, RC evap motor harness, drip pan, etc) and had them read the disclaimer provided by management and recommended they purchase a new unit due to the repairs not being cost effective with the possibilities of future issues that cant be resolved. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

They found every time they cook, food is now not cooking fully. I ohmd out the elements and sensor to find both good. I put the unit into diagnostics code and found several F6E0 error codes for UI miscommunication. I also found the UI LED screen bleeding through and when on one screen you can still see the last screen you were on. Also, the touch screen scrolling feature was not working half of the time I used it. I am ordering the console to replace and we will return to install it. I found the element illuminating at the back left corner vent. I found lint on the floor behind the unit. Using my vent tester kit, I tested airflow to the unit and found the first two tests failed (photos). Also found the unit was not sitting on any leveling feet. Using parts from my van stock (W11025920) I installed four feet and leveled the unit. I made recommendations to the customer in getting the vents checked/cleaned. No mechanical repairs needed at this time. No lint observed within the unit, job completed."

Installers had used the wring size screw and never tightened the cable properly, so it arced and popped. Replaced damaged wire and terminal with terminal from truck stock. Customer will replace the power cord and follow up if issues are still present. If so we should bring control/UI/Safety devices. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a range leaking gas. The customer stated the gas leak seems to be 24/7 and sometimes worse at times. I used my electronic gas leak detector and as soon as I got near the range it went off on high. I used my bubble detector on the gas line and found it bubbling close at the connection indicating a leak on the line. Upon further inspection I found significant damage and kinks in the gas line. I informed the customer on my findings and let them know they will need to replace the gas line. I used my bubble detector on the gas components on the range and found none. I advised the customer on keeping the gas off for safety.

"Arrived to inspect unit not draining or starting. I found the washer would not start the motor and a grinding noise could be heard from the timer. After rotating and attempting different settings, it started to engage. Thereafter, the timer intermittently worked and failed throughout testing. The lid switch and harness were both melted and contact was intermittent. The gear case seal at the motor input shaft had been leaking for some time and there was oil under the unit. Due to the large amount of parts and service required, the CX elected to not repair the unit. No leaks observed during service.

Inspection of the gear case area revealed the capacitor had leaked and tested with no capacitance. I was able to utilize a temporary capacitor from another failed machine the CX had, but the unit will require the correct one to be installed.
