"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator with frost in the freezer compartment. Examined unit and found the freezer was full of frost due to gasket not making contact with the liner. Rails were stiff due to lubricant melting out with the water. Found the drain was clogged as well and had likely caused the ice on the bottom to contact the drawer and keep it from closing. Replaced both rails and removed clog from drain. Verified door is now closing evenly and gasket is sealed on all sides.

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that was no longer making ice. At first unit was making low ice, but would sometimes make more. On arrival I found no ice in the bucket, with unit set max ice. I checked Temps and found they were good. 38 in RC, and -2 in freezer. On inspection of the icemaker I saw a good amount of moisture and ice built up on the back wall by the IM adapter, indicating a leaking adapter, which falls under service pointer W10545058. I found the icebox fan seemed loud as well, and airflow felt low. I tested the IM for codes and found no codes, E0. I ran a cycle test and unit harvested. Tested fill and found no fill, fill tube was frozen. Advised customer recommended repair is new Adapter kit to resolve the air leak which is likely causing the low ice production, a new icebox fan, and also a new fill tube heater; ordrng 1 W10648043 (Adapter Kit) and 1 W11087201 (Icemaker Heater) and 1 W10846539 (Icebox Fan)"

"Arrived on site. Inspected drain hose and found that it was located to far down stand pipe potentially causing siphone. Upon further inspection found during testing that one of the valves for the cold inlet valve assembly was clogged. R/R valve assembly and tested. Operational test good. "Arrived on site for a washing machine thats vibrating a lot. Inspected unit and work area. The husband advised that he was not here for the prior service but wanted to know why the shaking was considered normal. Did explain to the customer the functionality of this washer and the force suspension rods that hold up the basket. Did advise that it is normal operation to shake but asked if they were experiencing any issues with completing cycles. The customer advised that you they have not had that issue but wanted to be sure if the unit was working properly. Did not find any store to error codes and diagnostics. Ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. Ran the unit up to high speed span and did confirm with the customer that that was what he was checking about. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not dispensing detergent. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that her load and go detergent dispenser will work most of the time but after 2 to 3 washes, will stop working for a load. If she pulls out the tray and pushes it back in, the unit will work again for another few cycles but she has noticed this due to most of her loads having suds on the top for water and other loads not having any suds at all. Ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I tested the detergent pump in the component activation test and found it working. Ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rob SR# 7734212224. He advised that with these detergent issues, if there was a problem, the unit would not dispense detergent at all not most of the time. He advised that the unit would be working as designed if we can make the detergent pump running diagnostics and the customer is saying soap in the washer most of the time. He had me go through various checks and found the customer was using the detergent at 10X concentration. Rob advised that that could be causing her issue as the machine is asking for the concentration level of the soap they are using. He advised that it is normal to have the detergent concentration on 4X concentration. He advised the unit is working as designed and to make no repairs at this time. Went over check findings with the customer. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a microwave that is flashing an F1E4 (mw Relay) error code. Inspected unit and work area. Disassembled the unit and checked the 4309 microwave relay and did not find it closed. Checked all door switches after unplugging the connectors and found all switches to be working properly. Reassembled the unit and tested it again. I still have the same error message. Open the door and found dent from within the unit causing the cabinet to bubble outward and not allow the door to close properly. See photo. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Andy SR# 7734214442. He had me run a couple checks on the unit and advised that this unit would be sent for review. He advised to make no repairs and to let the customer know that Whirlpool would be in contact with them. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a washing machine thats not locking the lid. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit will not start a load and will just show that its complete before it even begins to fill with water. The customer advised that she was running a load of sheets and towels and the unit went off balance really bad and made all kinds of sounds. I did advise the customer that bulky items like sheets and towels, or mixed loading, can cause off-balance issues due to weight distribution around the basket. Went over loading techniques and ran the unit through an auto test. The unit ran as designed. "Arrived on site for a oven that was not heating up properly. On arrival the customer stated the thermostat they put in the unit was significantly under what the set temp was, and their food was not cooking through properly. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found no stored error codes. I then preheat the unit to 350?F and monitored the temp fluctuations. I found the unit roughly 10?F to low and calibrated it 10?F up.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator not cooling properly and getting frost build up. On arrival the customer stated they unplugged and defrost the unit and it happened again. Upon further inspection I found a significant gap at the bottom of the RC liner where it meets the door. I found the gap actually going all the way through to the floor. This is allowing hot air to get into the unit and creating the frost. I called techline and spoke to Adrian and received SR# 7734203496.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator not cooling. I found the unit plugged in and both compartments warm. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found all airflow components running as designed. I gained access to the evaps and found no ice or frost build up. I then gained access to the back of the unit and ohmd out the thermistors. I found them good. After I plugged the unit in the compressor turned on and made an abnormally loud noise. I found the customer had not heard anything from the unit since it has stopped cooling. Due to this I let the compressor run for several minutes and found it now cooling. I informed the customer of my findings. I found the unit now running as designed after the reset. If unit stops cooling again it may be a possible SS issue.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine with broken parts and a leak. On arrival the customer showed me how the latch, strike, and lock bezel are broken. The customer also stated the unit will leak several gallons of water onto the floor, but the tub will still be full. They found the leak to occur at the end of the cycle and around the drain. On arrival the unit was also stuck on a canceling cycle screen, and the only way to remove this was to unplug the unit for several minutes. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and I found stored error codes F5E4 lid opening issues, F8E1 for long fill, F0E4 for spin limited by water temp, F0E5 for off balance, and F0E3 for overload. I cleared the error codes. I then tried to manually activate each component, but found the control sending no voltage to any of them. Due to this I was not able to properly check all components. Upon further inspection I did find signs of the valve leaking. I gained access to the bottom of the unit and found significant gearcase oil as well. In order to repair the unit it will need a strike, latch, bezel, valve, control, gearcase, and slider. Upon inspection I found that the issue was actually melt water from the water dispenser line coming from the top of the unit into the cabinet. I check the line for leaks found none. When I pierced the system, I found the unit fully pressurized. Once I had the parts installed, I vacuumed the system and pressures held. I installed 5.25oz of R134a refrigerant and monitored pressures. Pressures held good and the unit is beginning to cool. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. Recommended allowing the unit to cool for at least 24 hours before placing food items inside."

I placed the unit in diagnostics and noticed the UI not making any tone sounds when pressing buttons. Tested the ice maker harvest in test 57 and it harvested as designed. Tested the fill tube in test 45 and the tray filled and the water level was at the top edge of the tray. I removed and replaced the UI and retested and also tested the water dispenser. I removed the evap cover and tested the thermostat control by jumping the black and blue wires and the unit came on. I inspected the compressor compartment and found the heat exchange badly corroded and what appeared to be oil/refrigerant in the drain pan (photos). "Arrived on site to inspect wine cooler racks. Upon further inspection, I found the 2nd, from the top, rack wooden slats pop out of place and the customer had a bottle of wine fall through the rack due to one of the slats coming unattached. I tested all slats in the other racks and only found the 2nd rack faulty. I found the wooden slats are flimsy, but none of the others popped out of the rack. I contacted techline and spoke to Andrew and advised of the complaint and my findings. Andrew advised that the wooden slats should not pop out and to replace the entire rack. Provided SR#7734195994. "Arrived onsite for a leaking washer. I unstacked the washer and dryer, removed the top of the washer and ran auto diagnostics. I found nothing leaking. Iran a quick wash cycle and found the dispenser leaking out of the front at the 4 minute mark of the cycle. I replaced the dispenser and tested again. Arrived on site for washer no draining. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found water in tub. Found no errors in diagnostics. I then found crack in wire to drain pump causing partial connection. Repaired wiring and tested unit through reset and tests cycle. Found no leaks and unit drained continuously. Call complete
