Due to the far right cooktop panel being badly discolored, I was to remove and replace the panel and I found the new panel is badly discolored as well and damaged at the bottom right corner and paint is chipped at the back burner area (photos). I contacted techline and spoke to Kurt and advised of the issue. Kurt provided a text and I sent photos of the far left panel, which is good and has been replaced already. Ran Test 4 step 1 6/0 psi, step 2 no change, step 3 -10/110, step 4 same, step 5 -10/110psi. Unit did not equalize, 2/111psi over 20 min. Called tech line due to pressure discrepancies. Also found RC evaporator encased in ice. Spoke to Rob SR.7739905429. Recommended flushing system with nitrogen for potential restriction. Replacing drier, pulling extended vacuum and recharging. Did as requested. Unit has evaporator encased in ice and will need to be remedied. Potential causes would be from bowed Drain pan, shims, rc evaporator fan motor and harness, or damper motor. However none of those components are covered (only sealed system is covered). Due to the potential of multiple failures of this model no single part is guaranteed. "Arrived on site to test unit for gas smell. Upon arrival customer stated that when she uses the oven the gas smell lingers and is really strong. Had a gas company come out to inspect and he said there is a lot of gas being released from the burner tube. Inspected tube and found shutter opened all the way. Closes shutter 90% and tested unit, gas smell has been eliminated and customer approves the improvement. Unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, no parts installed, job complete."

"Arrived on site to test unit for no starting. Upon arrival customer stated unit does start but some cycles end up not spun out and soaking wet. Customer was washing a large blanket at that time, she also tried smaller loads 3 towels, but still ends up wet. Ran diagnostic cycle and found all components properly engaging. Informed customer that the load sizes recommended for this unit is 20-40% of the basket. If the load sizes are too small they group together and throw the basket off balance when in the spin cycle. When washing blankets, they hold a lot of water causing it to be extremely heavy and once again throwing it off balance. After unit tried to rebalance 3 times the cycle will stop causing clothes to end up not spun out. Advised to keep load sizes to the recommended amount. Inspected unit and found unit had the old style tub ring, and noticed softener dispenser has extreme buildup causing water stream out to be held up and split into 3 different streams of water. The buildup coupled with the old style tub ring caused the water stream to be redirected outside of the tub during a load when the weight of the clothes and water dropped the basket, causing a major leak. Arrived onsite for refrigerator running all the time. Upon arrival customer stated the fan would keep running when door was closed. I found the fan to be working as designed and would turn off when refrigerator reached set temps. I explained to the customer that since it is a single evaporator the cool air from the freezer transfers over to the fridge compartment to cool it. Upon arrival while trying to replace the feet on the left side found base damaged and could not install leveling feet on the right rear side. "Arrived on site for a dryer that is not drying clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer stated that the unit does tumble and heat but it is taking them 3 to 4 cycles to dry clothes. I tested the unit and confirmed the unit was tumbling and heating. I gained access to the back of the dryer and found lint build up inside the vent hose. I check the vent going into the wall and found that the vent in the wall is extremely shallow and only 4 inches deep into the wall. I did advise the customer that it is possible that because the vent is so shallow, there may be a partial restriction as the unit is trying to vent out. I also explained that there may be some sort of clog inside the venting system as well due to the unit, tumbling and heating. I did advise the customer that airflow would be the only other issue that could cause the dryer not to dry clothes. The customer advised that he will contact his property owner to get the vents cleaned and if that does not work, will try to see about what they can do with the venting within the home. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."

Arrived on site for a refrigerator. That is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit was working great and then it just completely stopped about a week ago. I checked temperatures and found the temperature in the freezer at 2?F. I removed the ice container and found three ice cubes that were stuck in between the icemaker and the bay alarm causing the icemaker not to continue moving forward with making ice. I removed the ice from the bay alarm and found the unit immediately start cycling through. I found the unit harvest and fill as designed. I advise the customer of the issue in the unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed.

She advised that she was unable to get the unit powered on. I went out to the breaker and found the breaker had tripped. Per Whirlpool, they have advised doing a burn off on the elements by removing the ground wire from the machine and running the unit up to 450?. I wanna head and did that and reattached the ground wire. I ran the unit back up to 450?F and advised the customer to let the unit run for two hours to burn off any excess moisture in the elements. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that has a burning smell. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit continually still has issues with agitation and that the unit completely died out with water inside the tub. They advise they were able to get the clothes out but water still remains. Confirm the customers complaint and pulled out the washer. While I was pulling it out, one of the legs on the washer broke. I was able to get it tilted back and found a wire heads split near the drain pump, causing the issue. I removed the water from the tub and gain access to the cam. I found the cam starting to melt at the top again. I called whirlpool Tech line and spoke to Tracola SR# 7739901265. He advised that at this point with what has been replaced on the washer and continual issues with the cam melting, he would make no for the recommendation at this time, and that he would send the unit to review. Advised for me to tell the customer that whirlpool will be in contact with them or myself depending on the next steps. Call complete. No parts were installed."

"Arrived on site for an ice machine that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit just completely quit working. I found the unit in the middle of a supposed to harvest and found the interior of the ice machine hot. I turned off the ice machine and found a hissing sound coming from the back of the evaporator. I ran the air into diagnostics and found very poor water flow coming from the inlet valve. I removed the filter and found water flow go back to normal indicating a bad filter. I found all other portions of the machine working until it got to the compressor stage. I found a hissing sound coming from the evaporator when it was trying to cool and the evaporator plate would not freeze over. I turned off the machine and continued to hear a hissing sound coming from the evaporator, indicating a leak at the evaporator. "Arrived on site to test unit for F9E1 product not draining error code. Tested unit, drain pump engaged and a very minimal amount of water was draining. Drain pump was working at full power but it seemed like there was some sort of restriction in the drain hose, the drain hose also had an aftermarket hose attached to make it longer. Kept activating the drain pump and squeezing the hose, eventually the restriction came loose and ended up at the end of the drain hose. Removed restriction (see attached image) and tested unit, unit is now draining properly and unit is running as designed. Informed the maintenance supervisor. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the RC ice maker is not making ice but the ice maker in the freezer is working fine. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the ice maker and checked for error codes in test 56. I found E5-ice maker bad thermistor. I am ordering the ice maker and hv control and scheduled return service for 09/17/24. November water leaks observed during service and RETURNING TECH TO REPLACE THE RC ICE MAKER AND HV CONTROL. "Arrive onsite for unit intermittently cooling. On arrival freezer compartment was cool but not cold. Disassembled evaporator compartment and found little to no frost pattern, only on the first coil. No signs of dye. Unplugged to check Equalized pressure and recorded 62 psi. Powered unit and recorded Running 3/155psi. As unit continued to run unit developed full frost pattern. Compressor is pulling .9-1amp. Called tech line for assistance as cooling stops and resumes every 3 days. Spoke to Glen. Stated max psi on high side is 130psi at max. Tech believes possible Floating restriction. However unit has been flushed with nitrogen, drier has been replaced multiple times and compressor has been replaced. SR#7739694077. Tech will submit for review. Customer to expect a call within 1-3 business days ."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling and has no power. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit was running properly at the store but when the customer came to pick up the unit, they advised that the unit never cooled, and would not power on. I plug the unit in and confirmed no power inside the unit. I unplugged the unit and gained access behind the machine. I found that the Molex connector underneath was not inserted in fully due to the power cord, having been pulled on too hard. I reattached the Molex connector underneath and plugged the unit in. I found the unit turn on and start to work. I checked all components and found the evaporator fan not running. I replaced the evaporator fan and tested the unit. I found the unit working and operating as designs. Call complete. WP2315539."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer getting off balance. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and manually tested the spin cycle and found the unit spinning properly. I tested the suspension by pushing down on the tub assembly and releasing it and the tub assembly popped back up but leaned to the left a little. Due to the customer having off balance issues and the tub leaning to the left slightly, I removed and replaced the suspension rods and retested and the tub assembly pops back up with no issues. I calibrated the unit and retested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. W11217817"

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer noises. Upon further inspection, the tenant advised the unit is making a thumping to tapping noise. I tested the unit and found while tumbling, it is making a tapping noise. Disassembled the unit to find the back right roller and front bulkhead left roller were making the noise due to the rollers inner shaft not being smooth and having a burr. I removed and replaced the rollers, tension pulley and belt and retested and unit is operating as designed. Reassembled the unit and retested and unit continues to operate as designed. "WRT511SZDM02 Arrived on site for FC freezing. Upon arrival, found gap on the left side of Fc door (picture attached). Also noticed door handles and rubbing when opening and closing door. Repositioned screws on the Fc door hinge and fluffed gasket with heat gun. Open and closed door multiple times and and now gaskets are sealing. Unit is now functioning as designed. No water leaks detected at this time. No parts replaced"

"Arrived on site for a dryer that wont power on. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised they were using the unit and when they went to start another cycle, the unit completely turned off and has not been able to turn back on. They advised they were removed power from the electrical strip going to the dryer. I did advise the customer that their electrical strip was 120 V outlet strip and that the dryer would be on a 240 V circuit. I got behind the dryer and found the plug not completely inserted into the outlet. I removed and re-plugged in the appliance and tested the unit. I found the unit working and operating as designed. I turned off the unit and back on trying multiple cycles and found the unit tumbling and heating as designed. I did advisor customer that it appeared to be an electrical supply issue at the plug and a call back if any other issues persist. Call complete. No parts were installed."
