While in diagnostics, I found the unit continued to heat and the broil element was bright orange. I found the inverter had failed and I elected to replace the magnetron simultaneously. Reinstallation required shimming in the back right corner, due to the floor of the cabinet being lower in that corner. I tested after the repair and the unit operated as designed, including correct interlock operation."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator door light not turning off. Upon further inspection, I found the door open indicator lit up on the UI. I tested the RC door switches, deli switch and FC door switch and found the FC door switch frozen in the open position. I found that due to the freezer section being too packed with food items, the door is not closing and sealing properly (photos). I found the Fc door switch had ice inside the housing and was frozen. I was able to get the ice to break free and removed the ice and the tested the switch and it is operating as designed. I had to reshape the FC door gasket to get it to seal properly. Tested the FC door operations and it is operating/sealing as designed. I made recommendations to the customer for proper placement of their food items in the unit. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not making ice. Upon further inspection, customer advised the ice maker has not made ice since last repair. I tested temps in the FC=2.9 degrees. I checked the FC door gasket and found no gaps. I tested the ice maker by raising the on/off arm into the off position and then lowered it into,the on position and pressed the door switch closed. The ice maker began to harvest and dumped the ice into the bin and then the fill tube dispensed water into the ice maker tray. Using my phone, I placed it inside the FC section and took a video of the door switch in the closed position. I found that once the FC door is closed, the light turns off as designed. I recommended the customer monitor the unit and notify our office to schedule return service should the ice maker continue to fail. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not always completing cycles and cannot make selections. Inspected unit and work area. customer advised that after she ran a load after the previous repair, she can counter the same issue as before, where the unit would not allow her to change selections. She said that she unplugged it and she tried doing a couple of the things to the unit, but was unable to get the unit to change. She advised the next day whenever she went to start a cycle, the unit ran again, and did just fine through one cycle, but it has been like this since the previous repair. Found the unit paused in the middle of a cycle. She advised this happens as well. Was able to re-continue the cycle and found the unit beep again within 15 seconds as it was agitating. When I went to press the start button again, the unit beeped indicating that the lid was not fully down. Checked the lid and found a crack at the hinge indicating the lid. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator noises. Upon further inspection, when I arrived, the unit was quiet and in defrost mode. I placed it in diagnostics and tested the evap fan in test 3. Immediately when the fan turned on, it began to make a loud vibrating noise. I pulled the unit out as it sounded as if the noise was coming from the back left side of the unit. Once I removed the back lower cover, I found the noise was coming from inside the FC section. I removed the evap cover and found the cap tube rubbing against the evap cover and making the vibrating noise. I adjusted the cap tube and reassembled,bled the unit and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. Vacant home and no one on site to sign for receipt. Attempted to contact builder and left message with my findings."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit began to make a loud noise but over time began to get quieter. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E6-water hazard. I cleared the code and tilted the unit back to inspect the gearcase. I found the pulley head dropped into the shield and damaged the shield and pulley (photos). I removed and replaced the pulley and cut away the damaged plastic from the shield and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. I am ordering the shield and scheduled return service for 01/05/24. No water leaks observed during service.; ordrng 1 W11409708 (Pulley shield)"

KOCE500ESS20 Arrived to inspect broken glass. I found the inner pane had shattered. Disassembly of the door yielded no results of incorrect door and glass frame structures and I suspect the original pane had a manufacturing defect that caused the failure. I installed a replacement inner glass and tested. Operational test good.
