"Arrived onsite for a washer to replace the previous diagnosed parts. The customer was trying to run a rinse and spin when I arrived and the machine had stopped and the lid lock light and rinse were flashing. I replaced the broken lid and rusting hinges. I replaced the lid lock due to what was happening with the lid lock light. I ran another rinse and spin finding the machine filling and agitating properly but when it got to the spin cycle the motor was humming loudly and couldnt decide which direction to turn. I had correct voltage out of the control. I believe a winding is shorting when under a load and the motor was extremely hot. The new motor I opened had a broken mount but I was able to get it wedged in and test the washer in another rinse and spin cycle. The washer filled, agitated, drained, and then went into spin working as designed. Im leaving the broken motor on the machine so the customer can use it. Ordering W11026785 motor. RS for Wed 7/3/2024.; schdld next appmnt for 7/3 WED !"

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is not cooling properly in the FC and not making ice. I temped the FC and found it at 32 degrees. The customer had a thermometer in the RC and it was showing 42 degrees. On arrival the RC side was trying to cool and I could hear the refrigerant spitting and stopping. I ran service test 4 and found the same thing happening when the FC was running. I found both coils clear of frost. There is either a restricted drier, failing compressor, or a leak in the system. Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher error codes. Upon further inspection I found the display show F8E4 error and FAE1. Cleared the codes and continued with testing and found the unit tub full of soap suds. Removed the toe plate and found the drip pan with soapy water inside. Also found the unit failed to complete testing due to a faulty vent. I found the suds issue is due to the customer using the incorrect detergent. I cleaned the drip pan and removed and replaced the float switch and cleared the suds from the unit. Due to the faulty vent I am ordering the vent assembly and main control and CNOTE-LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST and scheduled return service for 06/21/24 (KC). Recommended the customer not use the unit until I return. Not water leaks observed during service. "Arrived on site for a dryer that is taking 2 to 3 cycles to dry clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that since she bought it, the dryer takes 2 to 3 cycles in order to dry the clothes. She did say that the unit does tumble and heat. I tested the unit and confirmed the unit did tumble and heat. I checked behind the unit and found the dryer vent hose was about 15 feet in diameter and was sneaking over itself due to the long vent hose. I checked the vent hose for any signs of a clog or water residue. I could not find any issue going through the dryer vent hose and out of the wall. I did explain to the customer that the issue with their dryer was not the actual dryer, but with their vent hose. I recommend the customer change to a rigid aluminum style vent hose to allow the dryer to ventilate properly. The unit is working an operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that wont power on. Inspected unit and work area. The customer stated that they think they found and corrected the issue because they cover on the drain pump had come off and I pulled off the drain pump connector to get it to drain. He advised that once he reconnected the drain pump connector, the unit drained and then started being able to turn back on. He also advised that he has run two cycles since without an issue. I checked the drain pump and found everything had been reconnected, and the no wires were split. I ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working and operating as designed. The customer also complained about the basket hitting the sidewall consistently. I did find his unit was unlevel and his basket was resting up on the front panel, causing it to bounce when in the spin cycle. I leveled out the washer and the unit is working an operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."

I replaced the failed door switch and then found the cause of the motor not starting was due to the thermal fuse testing open. The unit had severely restricted airflow and the customer fixed the issue while I was repairing the dryer, which I was able to verify as corrected at the end of service testing. I went to our warehouse and retrieved the required thermal fuse and installed. All functions returned to the unit and it heated and cycled as designed."

Customer advised to use heavier load settings for additional water, and to keep basket no more than half full for best results. "WED72HEDW0 Arrived to inspect non-starting and failure during operation. The customer advised both issues had occurred and upon initial testing, I found the relay could be heard, but there was no drum operation. Testing at the motor relay, I found line VAC present to the circuit, ruling out the control assembly. Inspection of the motor circuit revealed all connections with very good continuity of circuit, but the thermal fuse was open again. During testing I noted a pathway between N and G with the machine unplugged and found the it incorrectly wired, I corrected at the terminal block, solving the issue. Further testing revealed the main control heater relay had failed, welding the terminals shut with a constant connection and resistance of 39.8 ohms. Replacing the thermal fuse and and control, the unit resumed full normal operation and heated and cycled as designed. Airflow testing was sufficient and I advised the customer."

I gained access to the igniter wire and found oil on the wire. I pulled and cleaned the wire with soap and water,then dried it. Reinstalled the igniter wire and tested the burner.
