"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit was leaking pretty heavily and they were unsure as to where it was coming from but that it was not just a puddle but at least 3 to 4 cups of water. Found the dishwasher door not closing fully and leaning forward. I found that you could close the door far enough where the unit would start but not far enough for the door to meet the door gasket. Adjusted the feet on the dishwasher and then found the door close properly. Ran the unit through an auto test in the unit ran as designed with no leaks present. Ran it through another test with no leaks again. I did advise the customer that because the unit was leaning forward it is very possible that they may have overflowed out of the tub or leaked out of the sides of the dishwasher when the door would shut properly. Due to inability to replicate the issue, I could not fault any other parts on the machine. Advise the customer to run a few loads and a call back if any other issues persist. Call complete."

Arrived on site for washer not draining and showing f9e1. Upon arrival confirmed issue. After further testing found resistance to drain pump at 19. Found broken wiring due to stretching at drain Pump harness. Was able to repair wiring and insure harness had some additional slack to prevent stretching. Ran multiple fill tests on unit and found drain working as designed and not exceeding 20.3 amps. Call complete

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that is overproducing ice. Customer says they will removed the bucket and have ice fall out at times. Removed bucket on arrival and found icemaker bail arm is seated, and cir buildup is at the front of the bucket inbetween the bucket front plate, and the icemaker front face. This is working as intended, there is empty space, and the auger will bunch up cubed when dispensing to that spot. Customer is not a heavy ice user and it melts and collected in that area. Customer advised to disable icemaker / empty ice bucket regularly to keep cubes from melting and bunching. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is starting not to cool again. Upon arrival the customer showed me they had placed 3 thermometers in the unit. One on the upper shelf and one on the middle shelf in the RC and the third thermometer was in the FC. The customer stated the upper thermometer was showing the unit warmer than it should be. I tested the temp in the RC and found it at 33 degrees and the FC was at -3 degrees. The control was set at 33 degrees in the RC and -5 degrees in the FC. I explained to the customer that the controls should be set at the recommended settings of 37 and 0. The customer agreed and I changed the settings. I explained to the customer that the upper thermometer was way off and no good. The customer ordered a pair of digital thermometers to place in the RC and FC while I was on site. The customer stated the unit makes a grinding noise at times that doesnt last long. I ran test 3 and the customer confirmed it was the air dampener making the noise. I explained to the customer that the dampener was making its normal sound and I explained how it worked. The refrigerator is working as designed at this time. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a mw that has a broken turntable shaft. Upon arrival I tested unit and found that the unit would get but not turn I found the shat broken and the motor not turning.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer not draining. Upon further inspection, I found water in the tub. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error codes F2E3, F9E1. Cleared the codes and attempted to drain the water and the pump failed. I tilted the unit back and found the harness damaged/broken. Following the tech sheet for the F2E3 code, I found the unit is getting proper voltage at the J7-1 to J7-3 connector. Tested VDC at pins J2-3 to J2-4 and the control is not providing the 13VDC. I checked again at the control pins and got same results. I tilted the unit back again and tested the drain pump and its within ohms range. I attempted to mend the harness back together and retested the pump and it continued to fail. I advised the customer that the unit will need the lower harness and main control and possibly the drain pump. All components are functioning at this time. Possible defrost issues or power outage, unit in new subdivision and new home. Call customer Friday to get report from Ms Fawne. "Arrived onsite for IM not working. On inspection found the freezer was at -5 temperature. I pulled the IM out and found the fill tube was frozen. I steamed the tube open and ran the harvest and the water fill test. The IM working as designed, I informed the customer that there was a few gaps in the FC door gasket top and bottom. That it could have caused the tube to freeze over. Also let him know that it could be a weeping water inlet valve that could be causing the tube to ice over.

I found the unit had moved slightly and I placed 15mm shims behind the lower panel section, to prevent any future rearward movement of the unit. I reapplied MFG sealant to the right side after the movement correction and tested. No contact with the vent assembly could be observed and all functions were present, as designed. No gas leaks detected during service."

"KDTM404ESS1 Arrived to inspect leak. I entered service test mode and found F9E4, F9E1 and F8E2 stored in memory. I found there were signs of water leaking under the unit, but did not see any direct leaks during service test mode. I did find the lower spray arm with three spray heads had one broken off and lodged under the heater and arm assemblies and removed it prior to testing. Further inspection revealed a slight amount of deposits on the diverter outer housing and I suspect the leak to be intermittent and from the diverter seal

Arrived onsite for a dryer that is not heating. Upon inspection I found that the heating element showed open. I installed new heating assembly and tested unit and found unit operating as designed

Arrived onsite for NOT COOLING IN FRZR AND FF SECTION DOESN'T SEEM AS COLD. Also DISPENSER IS LEAKING. Upon arrival there is no power to unit. Restored power and condenser fan and compressor turn on. Compressor is pulling .64 amps. The condenser has a sheet of dust build up. Cleared dust from condenser. Cooling began in RC. Customer stated that he temped FC 39 degrees and RC 50 degrees. Contacted SW for assistance. Ran diagnostics and There are no stored error codes on RC and FC sections. Unit is currently operating correctly. Customer will monitor cooling for the next 24 hours. Job complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for no power. Test unit and found no power cord connected at the unit. Installed the power cord test unit and unit test good.

"Arrived on site for not cooling and loud noise. Diagnosed compressor issue for loud noise and cooling issue,found no refrigerant in system,installed a new drier and access valve to locate leak. While pressurizing system hissing noise in compressor compartment,located noise from cap tube gave cap tube a slight tug and found cap tube broken in liner. Took pictures called tech support sent pictures to tech support per tech support and information being sent to product review team,whirlpool will contact customer SR#7735458829"

"Arrived on site. Ran diagnostics weak water flow to pan diagnosed a defective water valve,replaced water valve unit passed all other test,installed new filter customer provided and ran clean cycle with cleaner customer provided.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not working. Installed previously diagnosed parts. The keys were working with the new control board but during diagnostics mode the spray arms never in gaged to stat spraying. Customer did not want to go forward with repair due to cost of repair. I reinstalled the old control board

Arrived on site for no lights per service replaced defective freezer led module all leds working as designed. Repair covered by autho S191AQ ; used 1 W11601311 (Led module) from stock

Arrived on site for noise complaint. Fans and compressor running ran diagnostics on each individual part per customer will both components running unit is loud called tech support per tech support no repair normal operating soundsSr#7735462744

"Arrived on site and found door is hitting cabinet when closing, Level/plumbed the refrigerator by lifting left-hand side with foot and moved it 1 inch forward. Explained that refrigerator is not designed to have the door closed point inside the cabinet. Refrigerator cabinet needs to be flush with surrounding wooden cabinet to ensure the correct operation, job complete"

Arrived on site and found right hand rivet is missing from adjuster wheel. After replacing it her builder request adjusted front as much as possible but refrigerator cabinet does not line up perfectly with surrounding wooden cabinet/alcove. Explained to builder that this is not a built-in model and adjustments are limited. Job complete

"Arrived on site heading inspected refrigerator and found return air is frozen over, disassemble freezer and found white wire on harness to heating element is loose, took pictures. After resetting wire set refrigerator into a diagnostic cycle and defrost is now working. Defrost has already cleared return air, recommended the customer continue to observe refrigerator and if needed manually defrosting it by Unplugging it for two days, job complete"
