"Arrived on site to inspect ice machine not making ice. Upon further inspection, I found the bin empty and unit turned off. Turned the unit on and placed it in diagnostics. I found the cleaning light illuminated. Tested all the components and found the valve slowly dispensing water, the reservoir drain pump has failed, the evaporator is dirty and at the end of the test, I found the on/off light blinking showing the bin thermistor is out of range. I tested the thermistor and did find it out of range. I tested the cutter and found it getting 10.6VAC and 4.8ohms well within range. I tested the unit in a normal mode and found the unit is making a good slab of ice on the evaporator but due to the evaporator needing to be cleaned, the slab would not drop too the cutter. I am ordering the reservoir drain pump, bin thermistor and cleaning solution and will return with all prescreened parts. Scheduled return service for 12/07/22 at which time, the reservoir drain pump, bin thermistor and valve will need to be replaced. Recommended that the customer wait to clean the unit until after repairs have been made due to the reservoir drain pump failing. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I removed the bottom front panel and found the metal plate in the center of the element was badly warped. I disassembled the unit and found the unit with a large amount of lint inside (before photo). Removed the element and found the coil broken. Also found all four rollers and the tension pulley with a large amount of oil debris built up on the axles and the drive belt worn. I removed the lint and vacuumed the remainder of the unit. Removed and replaced the rollers (4), tension pulley, belt and element and reassembled the unit and tested. Unit is operating as designed. Upon further inspection, I pressed the cancel button and engaged the drain pump and could hear the pump come on, but no water was being extracted from the unit. I removed the water using my shop vac. I removed the drain pump and tested it and it is operating as designed. When I inspected the drain hose, I found the proper hose connected to the unit, but it was modified going through the cabinets and to the disposal. I advised the customer that the actual drain hose that comes with the unit is good and clear, but there is possibly clogging in the modified drain hose. I recommended that the customer have a plumber inspect the modified hose and drain that the hose connects to under the sink. I recommended that the customer not use the unit until the drain hose has been corrected. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to follow up on dishwasher that was dead shortly after control replacement. Tested unit and found diagnostic light is on, but UI is unresponsive. Per directions from SW, power cycled unit several times after verifying the CSM was not tripped. After 6 power cycles the unit powered on, which per directions requests to update software with Module WD98R5957301 from GE. The unit is working at this time. Customer advised we do not have this module and it's on back order from GE until January at this time. Customer will follow up mid Jan to see if we have module to update. Customer requested I replace the bezel on the UI with their part, which they are aware has several broken tabs. I was able to get the bezel on successfully, but advised there's no warranty since clips are broken. Call complete, customer will follow up in Jan for status on update module. I also advised to get in touch with GE if we can not get the module easily. Call complete."

Arrived onsite to diagnose a dryer that had power but would not start. Tested door switch and found light corresponding to switch and belt tension on drum. Explained findings to customer and that ongoing or repeat symptoms would require the electrical supply to be repaired. All else checks good.

"Arrived on site. Replaced power supply control powered unit on all lights powered on,compressor and fans powered on.

"Arrived to inspect heating issue. The customer would have to start the bake process after every initial heating cycle, as the unit would not relight. I tested the temperature sensor and found it within range. I then tested the bake hot surface igniter and found it at 163 at room temperature. The broil was 94 and the replacement bake igniter was 80. I removed and replaced the bake igniter and tested. The air shutter was set all the way open and there was excessive unburnt fuel and noise and I corrected. I believe this was a contributing factor to the early failure of the igniter. The unit heated to the set temp and then cycled off. Subsequent ignition pulses operated as designed. No gas leaks detected during service.

Arrived on site to diagnose a dishwasher that is not drying properly. Tested all parts and components and found no failures to unit at this time. Advised customer on findings and best cycles and options for best performance. No further repairs needed and no leaks were found at time of service.

"Arrived to inspect door stuck shut and error code. The unit showed F21 steadily upon arrival and the door was stuck shut. The unit had failed several days prior and I had to remove a regular load of clothes water from the tub. I found the drain pump would not engage and upon removal, was able to see the impeller was canted and locked up. After replacing the pump assy, the unit operated as designed

"Arrived on site for dishwasher smoking and tripping breaker. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found the cause failure had been the control board spontaneously combusting and catching fire. Thoroughly inspected rest of unit and found no failures in the motor heating element drain motor or valve. I did find however that the main harness was completely burnt and ruined along with the entire main control board and housing it was put in being completely melted. called and reported findings to safety department and spoke with Steve Sr#7735074782, M14YWV0WL1. I checked the bottom of the FC door at the gasket and chassis and found that there is still a gap causing airflow into the freezer section. Contacted techline and spoke to Andrew and provided the SR number and sent another photo of the gap. Andrew advised that the file would be sent for review and attached to the same SR#7734912856. Checked voltage at the wall and found proper voltage with the unit idle. Checked the thermal fuse and found it showing continuity. Tested voltage from line one to neutral When they push to start was pressed and found voltage dropped from 124.4 V down to 1.6 V. Tested voltage on the line two side to neutral and found voltage go from 124.4 V to 244 V. Check voltage at the plug and confirmed the same issue. Advise the customer that his problem is an electrical supply issue and will need to be corrected to fix his issue. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Advised customer a dish in unit may have rotated collar on sprayer causing issue. Replaced sprayer and tested unit and documented with safety. All is working properly at this time and no leaks were found at time of service. File# 7735069591

Arrived on site to diagnose a washer that is making unusual noise. Found belt slipping and cam damaged. Replaced both parts and tested unit. Found all is functioning properly at this time and no leaks were found at time of service.

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that was not cooling in either compartment. On arrival unit was unplugged. Customer said they had noticed some frost on the evaporator cover, which likely means it had a defrost issue. When I moved the unit to give it power I did find water on the ground, so pan was full. When plugged in unit is cooling properly. I checked the defrost circuit and found the connector for the brown wire for the heater unseated, so heater could not be powered. Repaired connector and tightened. Unit should now be working as designed. Customer advised to leave unit in failure state so we can more accurately troubleshoot if issue returns. Call complete."

Arrived on site and replaced previously diagnosed harness. Unit now working as designed. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for a washer that is still tearing holes in the clothing. I found the wash plate bolt that was tightened on the previous visit still tight. I inspected the entire inside of the basket and wash plate. There are no burrs in the unit. I went ahead and changed the capacitor per techlines recommendation on the previous visit just in case it is breaking down during use. Before replacing the capacitor I tested it again and it showed 45mf. I ran a calibration and a diagnostics cycle. The unit completed the cycle and worked as designed. No water leaks were present at the time of service. Call complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for flames to high on low. Adjusted all burner flames test unit and unit test good job complete.

"Arrived onsite for f3e2 and tested sensor bars from the control and found proper continuity. Inspected vent to the outside for proper airflow and determined airflow is good. Advised customer on findings and cleared error codes. Customer stated mostly not drying towels and throws using sensor cycles. Advised customer on using timed dry with custom settings for thorough drying of larger items, as there can tend to be premature end times with towels and bedding. All else checks good."

Arrived on site for refrigerator not allowing mullion bar to shut properly when closed. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found spring in bar failing. Replaced mullion and tested door. Found unit closing and functioning as designed. Call complete

Arrived on site to test unit for not drying properly. No stored error codes. Ran diagnostics with no issues and verified element engaging with proper voltage. Advised customer on use of jet dry and purging cold water prior to starting unit. No leaks detected. Job complete.

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found the pump and motor not sitting properly inside of the dishwasher. Went to set the washer motor in place and found that the brackets holding the wash motor in place were broken. Replaced the wash motor assembly and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed with no leaks present. Call complete.
