"Arrived on site to inspect washer lid locked. Upon further inspection, I found the customer had gotten the lid unlocked and I found the display flashing error code F9E1-long drain. I found the unit still had a large amount of water inside the tub. Tilted the unit back to find the drain pump,harness was broken (photo) and I was able to get the wires connected to engage the drain pump,and drain the water. As a temporary repair, I mended the harness back together and tested and the lid lock failed to unlock. I removed and replaced the lid lock assembly and calibrated the unit and retested and unit is operating as designed. I am ordering the lower main harness and scheduled return service for 11/13/24. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher odors. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that since the unit was installed, she has used it approximately two times and now it has a very bad odor. Customer also advised that the installer damaged the cabinets on the sides of the unit (photos) and didnt install the drain hose properly and it leaked, but they corrected it. When I opened the unit door, I immediately smelled a strong odor equivalent to a rotten egg. I turned the drain pump on by pressing the cancel button and drained the water and it stirred the odor more. Customer advised the unit didnt dry the first two times of use. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F10E3-drying fan failure. Cleared the code and continued with testing. While testing, I researched the wiring diagram and found this unit does not have a drying fan, but a vent. I tested the vent and found the molex connection very hot to touch and vent motor open. The unit completed testing and is operating as designed except the vent motor. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent, rinse aid and cleaner recommendations. I am ordering the vent and main control and scheduled return service for 11/13/24. RETURNING TECH TO REPLACE THE VENT AND TEST BEFORE REPLACING THE CONTROL. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher leaking water. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that water is leaking from the left bottom corner of the door. Also pointed out that there is water at the toeplate. I removed the toeplate and found the insulation was wet (photo). I found the sump assembly is good and no leaks present. I removed the outer door panel and then inspected the lower and upper spray arms and found debris in the ports and attempted to remove the debris. Also found the lower spray arm beginning to crack as debris was coming out of the crack (photos). I I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. I found both spray arms would stop during testing and the upper spray arm stopped and was pointed towards the unit door and water was beginning to fill the reservoir to the point to where it was about to overflow (photos). "Arrived on site to inspect cooktop burner flames. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the burners take too long to ignite and demonstrated. I tested all burners and found the five large burners take too long to ignite and the back middle burner low setting flame turns off. Following the service pointer #W11643965, I adjusted all of the large burners and adjusted the flame heights and tested. Unit is operating as designed and I demonstrated for the customer. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed. No parts installed."

"Arrived on site to inspect Microwave arcing/shock Safety Call. Upon further inspection, I found the unit installed properly. I found the vent cover above the unit in the cabinet was properly installed. I tested the unit with my microwave tester and cup of water and the unit operated as designed. I retested several times and could not duplicate the arcing complaint. Customer pointed out where they saw the sparks which was at the vent area above the microwave control panel and at the vent area above the microwave door near the center of the unit. I removed the unit from the wall and removed the cover to inspect the underside of the cover for arcing and found no signs of arcing. I inspected the heating components-magnetron, transformer, capacitor, diode and found no signs of arcing or failure. I tested the heating components and all are good. I did find some cooking oils at the vent area near the diode above the control panel but nothing out of the ordinary. With the cover off and the heating components exposed, I retested the unit and it continued to operate as designed. I inspected the underside of the vent where the customer said they saw arcing and found no signs or damage from arcing. I notified our office and was advised my findings and photos would be submitted to the manufacturer safety department. No one was injured/shocked when the customer witnessed the sparks coming from the unit. I am unable to duplicate the issue/complaint. As a precaution, I do recommend replacing the magnetron, diode and capacitor. No repairs made today and the unit was left u;plugged and the breaker turned off for safety. I advised someone from our office or the manufacturer would contact them with a resolution and provided them with the Safety Referral number 7740240820. Job completed"

"On arrival verified complaint of tripping breaker. Took a photo of mod/Ser tag, product exterior front, product surroundings, product area of potential concern full, mid, and close, and breaker outside. Verified voltage and polarity are correct, inspected unit and found no signs of arcs or damage. Visual inspection of the harness shows no signs of damage Terminal block is wired correctly and is tight no twists in power cord. Removed power cord from wall. Replaced Bake and broil elements and main control. Checked continuity between element casings and terminals and found OL. Removed ground wire. Reconnected power. Ran bake element and broil elements in then ran bake cycle at 500 with ground strap off for 30 mins. Verified amp draw was under 16amps max. Stopped cycle, disconnected power,and reattached ground wire. Reconnected power and Set bake at 500 Advised customer to run for 1.5 hours and turn off cycle, repair has been completed per instructions in SP w11490386 , spoke to TL 7740285812 and spoke to safety, and submitted picture of breaker. Advised customer if it happens again to replace breaker. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cooling. Upon further inspection, I observed how the compressor was tripping the overload. The compressor was drawing 9 amps and tripping the overload. "Arrived on site to inspect ice machine not producing ice. Upon further inspection, I placed the machine into diagnostics and observed no error codes. I tested the fill and observed the water greatly restricted. I removed the filter and the water began to flow normally. I finished tested the rest of the components and found no issues with any other operation. The unit will need a new filter. I advised the customer of my findings. No water leaks observed during service. Customer will get a new filter. Job complete."

Arrived onsite to inspect refrigerator no producing ice. Upon further inspection I checked the temperature I. The refrigerator and the temperature is measuring 1 degree in the FC and 37 in the RC. Upon arrival the ice maker was in the off position. I switched the ice maker on and observed it operating without issues. The unit is operating as designed. No parts needed. No water leaks observed during service.

"Arrived on site to follow up on refrigerator experiencing massive defrost issue in FC. Unplugged unit and checked thermistor reading again. Previous tech said unit was showing OL. I found 80K Ohms resistance coming from reading at the control for thermistor. I defrosted enough of the freezer to access the thermistor. I replaced it with a jumper wire, and checked at control again. This time it was reading properly, and there was no excessive resistance. The existing thermistor readings with properly matched to temps, but I replaced due to the crazy resistance readings I got. I replaced the control and tested everything from the rear again. Found proper resistance at thermistor, heating track is energizing, no air gaps found. UI shows thermistor as passed. I zip tied the new thermistor to the evap tubing. Unit working as designed at this time. Parts used - W11742389, WPW10384183. Called findings into tech line to document temp readings. SR7740279841. Call completed. Note - left unit unplugged with door open to allow defrost. Maintenance was made aware before I left that this will leave some water on the ground."

Arrived on site to diagnose washer with lid issue. Examined lid and found left side hinge broken through the lid frame. Replaced lid to resolve. Verified proper function. Repair completed. Parts used - W11102314.

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator not producing ice. Checked until and found E3 for mold heater failure. Replaced the icemaker and tested, verified proper operation. Center mullion is not making contact with the closer, due to the fridge being dropped / sitting on the floor, so the pad for the leveling foot is coming off. Advised unit will need to be lifted / shimmed to have that fixed, but it won't be a warranty repair. Customer will resolve that, which will allow the mullion to close. Call completed. "WDT730HAMZ1 Arrived to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. I removed and replaced the control, noting moisture found in the vent fan assembly and then tested. I found service mode testing generated an F6E2 and further inspected. There was a slight amount of debris in the filter, but not enough restrict flow. The replacement control started a second cycle at the end of the test mode, but it is a more common software issue that has been identified in recent times. Due to the liquid found in the vent fan, I am adding associated parts and we will return to install. No leaks were observed during service. "ASD2575BRB01 Arrived to install sealed system components. I recovered the refrigerant and it appeared to be a full charge. After replacement of the compressor, service port and dye drier, I vacuumed the system to 400 microns and it held for an additional 15 minute leak test. Charging with the MFG calculated refrigerant charge, the machine started cooling as designed. No leaks observed during service."

"WRF757SDHZ04 Arrived to inspect noise and hinge cover issue. I found the cover off and the customer had said it popped off a day after service, or so. The hardware sent out did not match and I had the exact version in my personal supply and installed, ensuring full mounting and operation. I went through every service test mode for any devices that could cause excessive noise and found no issues. Further discussion with the customer revealed the noise occurred only right after service and I suspect excessive moisture may have condensed and frozen on one of the two fans in that environment, leading to the noise. The moisture evidently dissipated, and the noise did not come back, per the customer. I ran the compressor for an extended time and found it to be well within expected operational volume. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."
