Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is still freezing product in the RC. The customer stated she put a small container under the icemaker on the shelf and the water froze one day and the next day it was liquid again. She stated it was frozen yesterday but when I arrived today it was liquid with the sealed system cycled off and the temp at 39 degrees. It appears the unit is having temperature swing issues. The thermistor is good and there is no more air leakage from the icemaker area. "Arrived onsite for fc lights flickering. On inspection the customer had the light switch taped down, when he removed it the lights started to flicker. I was depressing the switch to turn them off and on. I left them on and when the compressor kicked on the lights stopped flickering. I tried for about 15 minutes to get the lights to start flickering again with no luck. Currently will call back if the it starts backup."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. I found the unit unplugged upon entry and attempted to plug the unit in. I found the unit start to run the compressor, but heard a noticeable hairs coming from the backside of the unit. I open the door of the refrigerator and found the sound dissipating inside indicating it was an issue in the backside of the unit. I gained access to the compressor and dryer areas and could not find the leak. Found no evidence of any frost pattern on the evaporator. Spoke to SW and Im ordering all sealed system components. I disconnected the power cord from the unit and test and found no voltage from the cord. I inspected the power cord and found a cut in the cord (photo). "Arrived onsite for washer making a noise. On inspection I could hear the slider making noise, on further inspection found the bolt for the rotor on the ground. Reinstalled the bolt did a factory reset then a calibration on the unit retesting unit in diagnostics cycle. The washer completed the diagnostic cycle but got hung on the up and the display said cycle end for about 4 minutes. Arrived onsite for dryer making a noise. On inspection the dryer had a low tone noise. Gain access to the motor area and found the belt was rubbing on the pulley. The pulley had black streaks on it like the belt had been slipping. Installed a new pulley and belt and the noise is gone.

Arrived on site and replaced previously diagnosed compressor and precooler. Vacuumed system and system held pressures for 25mins indicating no leaks within system. Charged to specs with 68g of r600a. Due to the unit consistently showing error code F0E2; the dispenser covered with mold on the inside and per service pointer #W11446112, I removed and replaced the dispenser assembly, main control and water level sensor. Double checked the air trap and it was clear and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling. On inspection the fc and rc were room temperature. Gain access to the back and tested the compressor for amps and there were none. Installed a new start device and retested now the compressor once up in running was .7amps. Checked the fc for cold air and there is cold air coming out of the evap fan. Informed customer that it will take 24 hrs to cool all the way down.

"Arrived on site to test unit for noise. Customer stated after 30-45 minutes unit would make a humming like noise for 10-20 seconds than stop. Noise is intermittent. Ran a cycle for 5-10 minutes with no noise present. Inspected blower wheel, spinning uniformly and no defects on it. Inspected rest of the cabin, found 4 loose screws scattered throughout which couldve been the cause of the noise. Informed customer of my findings and advised her to monitor. "Arrived on site to inspect washer not getting enough water. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. I found the unit not dispensing enough water as it was not filling over the washplate as it should. I tested in a normal cycle and it continued to fail. I removed the water hoses and found the hot water hose is beginning to break down internally and I found black rubber debris inside the hot water valve screen (photo). I removed and replaced the valve assembly and calibrated the unit and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed using service, job completed."

To rule out element leakage, ran broil at 500 degrees for 20 minutes and bake element for additional 25 minutes to eliminate any possible moisture within the element that could cause a nuisance tripping . Not once during testing did the unit trip the breaker. Unit is functioning as designed. If symptoms persist recommend builder swap breaker with a brand like GE that does not have as many nuisance tripping issues as Square D. Job complete"

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop burner flame heights. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the burners are too hot and the front left burner knob is difficult to turn. I tested all burners and found the flame heights all normal. I found the front burner knob does not turn the burner on. I removed the cooktop from the burner box and found the front left burner valve not seated properly on the manifold. I adjusted the valve and using my liquid leak detector, checked the valve for gas leaks and found none. I reassembled the unit and adjusted the flame heights per customer request and retested and unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to test unit for no cooling. Upon arrival found both cabins at room temp, tried to activate compressor in diagnostics, compressor would not kick on. Unplugged unit and inspected start device and compressor, plugged unit back in, compressor kicked on. Called techline to document SR#7738878825, per techline took amperage from compressor pulling 1.1 amps. After 20 minutes inspected evaporator coil, frost buildup is ideal and unit is starting to cool. Due to significant weather events my conclusion is unit got a power surge and got stuck in a logic loop. Advised customer to put water bottle in freezer and when it fully freezes unit will be safe to use. If unit does not cool properly it will need a sealed system repair. At this time unit is running as designed, job complete."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is too cold in the freezer section. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that that was not the issue. She advised that they are getting icicles in her freezer and this unit is brand new. I checked the gasket and found the entire left-hand side of the freezer gasket not touching. I attempted to adjust the gasket and found that the Door was too far away from the cabinet for it to properly touch. I attempted to adjust the hinge on the top, hand side and found that I could not adjust the hinge enough to make it work. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to TJ SR# 7738881540. He had me send him some photos of the door and the top hinge. He advised that he has seen this before, and that the issue with the unit is that the holes were stamped in the wrong location on the left hand side hinge. He advised that it was most likely that if they swap the door over to the other hand side, that the unit would probably work, but because the customer Hass to have the door opening from that side, there was nothing we can do to fix the door location. He advised that he would send this unit for review, and to advise the customer that whirlpool would be in contact with them or myself, depending on the next steps."

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has doors that are not sealing. Inspected unit and work area. I found the unit cooling properly with no evidence of any frost buildup in the freezer or moisture buildup in the refrigerator. I checked the cabinet and liner and found both were good. I checked the gaskets and found no gaps in the gaskets on the cabinet. I did confirm that the gaskets were holding properly and the unit is working an operating as designed. Call complete.

I tested the oven on bake at 240 degrees and the burner ignited as designed and then once it reached temp it would shut off. Once the oven cooled, the burner ignited again and the customer identified the noise. I advised the customer that the unit is operating as designed. I made recommendations for use and care. KDTM604KPS1 Arrived to inspect steam issue. I found the gasket had been incorrectly installed during manufacture and had rolled inward due to being over-stretched. I replaced and tested. The chassis required adjustment to correct door closing. No leaks observed during service.

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Per previous techs diagnosis, I removed and replaced the compressor, access valve and UV dye drier. I evacuated the system and removed and replaced the mentioned parts. Vacuumed the system down to -30/0psi. Installed 3.7oz of R134a refrigerant and tested the unit. Pressures held good at -5/100psi. Unit is beginning to cool with good frost pattern. No water connections/leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for buttons not responding. Upon arrival, we found drum light is on but no response to touch on UI. Replaced control and now control is now responding. Tested unit and now unit functioning as designed. Job complete"

Arrived on site to test unit for door not closing properly. Found unit does not have rails underneath unit installed. Cabinet cutout is too small to allow rail installation. Advised customer to contact contractor and/or home warranty for needed cabinet adjustment. Showed customer service pointer W11639932 which illustrates concern and correction.

Arrived on site with previous diagnosed parts. Removed top panel. Replaced transformer and control. Upon test I found recirculating pump is still not working. Replaced pump. Verified operation. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator. That is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. Upon entry, I found the refrigerator running. I did confirm temperatures inside. The refrigerator were about 78?F. I checked behind the unit and found the compressor running, but the compressor was hot to touch. I found the unit either had an inefficient compressor or had a leak. Ordering all sealed system components in the office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to limited parts availability. Please schedule service for three hours due to potential multiple system parts needed with Lockring.; ordrng 1 W11580057 (Compressor) and 1 W11546692 (Evaporator) and 1 WPW10143759 (Dryer) and 1 W11506635 (Access valve) and 2 W11504449 (Evap to cap tube coupler)s and 1 LOKRING (LOKRING)"

Arrived on site replace filter base and cover . Cover is still not clicking into place . Found liner slightly uneven . Added shim under front of base . Cover is clicking into place and staying put . No water leaks detected at time of service. Job complete .

Arrived on site for washer showing f7e1. Upon arrival confirmed failure. Found capacitor broken and wires to it broken also. Repaired wiring and replaced capacitor. Tested u it and found no leaks and washer working as designed. Call complete

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with failed upper hi limit t stat. Replaced with thermostat fix. All checked good.

"Arrived on site to inspect unit for loud noise. Upon closer inspection found sound pad hitting fan next to compressor in rear. Found evap motor and diffuser working as intended. Secured sound pad, no leaks present at this time. Job complete."

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not working. On inspection found error F7E2 pump not working. Installed new pump and tested the unit. Ran unit in diagnostics mode and it completed with no issues and no water leaks.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer not draining/spinning and making a loud noise. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit wont spin and when it does, its extremely loud. I attempted to manually test the spin and the unit failed to spin. The drain pump came on and after a few minutes the unit timed out and shut off. I removed the washplate and found the basket bottom plate rusted and the four bolts seized to the basket. I tilted the unit back and found the gearcase has leaked oil and gotten on the actuator and the belt is fraying. I found where water has splashed over the sides as the cabinet has dry water streaks on them and there is rust at the bottom base (photos). I advised the customer of my findings and advised I would have to order parts and get authorization from their warranty to repair. I am ordering the gearcase, basket, four bolts, motor spacer, drive belt, actuator and actuator bracket, along with CNOTE-2 MAN REPAIR, CNOTE-2 HOUR JOB and CNOTE-AUTHORIZATION. I recommended the customer not use the unit due to the probability of the unit leaking water due to the failed gearcase.
