"Arrived onsite for refrigerator leaking water. On inspection I found the ice bin gasket folded over on the left side. I fixed that issue, we to the back in turn the water back on and looked for a leak in the valve and the water line. Found no leaks n back, I then went and was checked the rc evap and it was not frozen over. The condenser was 95% clogged I cleaned it up. Found that the ice maker was not seated all the way back so I reseated the ice maker. I never saw the unit leaking. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer not drying clothing. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit will het warm, but the clothing doesnt come out dry. The customer advised that the vent going outside runs through the home foundation and has been cleaned several times. Using my vent test ,it, I tested the airflow to the unit and it passed the first two tests. I tested the heating by opening the door and closing the door switch and tested on timed dry and the unit got warm, but I never saw the element illuminate in the back right corner vent. When I disassembled the unit I found a large amount of lint inside the unit (before photo). I removed the element to find the center metal plate cracked and badly warped. I advised the customer of my findings and replaced the element and cleaned the unit (after photo) and reassembled the unit and tested. Unit is operating as designed. I recommended to the customer to clean the vents at least two times per year and possibly more since it runs though the foundation and a large amount of moisture will collect inside the vents causing the moisture to collect lint and clog the vents. No lint and no water observed at the end of service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for range oven not working. On install the oven would not come on gain access to the igniter and it was 64 ohms. Testing to oven regulator and there was no voltage to the regulator. Tested at the control board and there was 124 vac. Chased it to the igniter and on one side I had the 124 vac the other side was 0 vac. When I went to disconnect the igniter and one of the pins pulls out of the connector. I reseated the pin and plugged everything in and tried the bake setting again. The unit ignited this time and it heated to 350?.the unit is operating as designed and no gas leaks detected during service. No parts were installed.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the unit leaks specifically on cold water washes and seems to leak right after its done spinning. I inspected the unit and checked for any water debris. I did find water residue around the back and side panels of the unit, but no clear indicator of where it was leaking from. I filled the basket up 2/3 the way up with water and found a slight leak at the valve. I drained out the water and found no water residue or leaking happening underneath the washer. I examined the tub for any cracks and found none. Due to the fact that the customer said this happens during spin and the leak present at the valve, I replaced the tub ting and valve. I tested the unit and found the unit working and operating as designed. I had the customer run a load after I left and told her I would call her back. I called the customer back and the customer advised that the unit had leaked. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Bruce SR# 7738946778. on the complaint and what has been done to this unit, the issue would be with oversuds King in the washer, and that the customer will need to use lighter amount so with their clothes. this point, not to make any for the repair and a half because birds use a clean washer tablet to clean out any exercise inside of her washer. "WMH78519LZ00 Arrived to instal previously ordered part. The part ordered by the prior tech was not for a microwave and I marked as incorrectly ordered. I diagnosed the shorted harness to the line VAC supply for the left side element, which had shorted direct to chassis under the upper air guide. The interlock assembly that had been recently replaced had catastrophically failed, due to the nature of the short to chassis and welded contacts together within a microswitch, permanently. I performed a temporary repair to the harness and the failed interlock switch and we will return with the correct parts. Installation of the fuse after the temporary repair allowed the unit to regain full operation. The customer advised they noticed that it was still leaking after the bottom drawer had completely overflowed and then they noticed water drip edge from the icemaker assembly down the backside of the wall. I did confirm the customers, complaint and cold whirlpool Tech line. I spoke to Andrew SR# 7738951147. He advised that there was a known issue with that, and that there was a special adapter kit that needed to be ordered instead of the traditional ice box adapter on the repair parts page. He advised to remove all the perma gum and replace the adapter with the new adapter kit. The upper and lower seals had ruptured and allowed oil and water to pass through the gear case assembly, resulting in corrosion that had locked the slider in place. The unit will require the gear case and associated parts, including the rotor due to severely damaged teeth. Testing the water complaint, I found the valve assembly fully working and I suspect the customer complaint for no water was due to the software locking the water system out for flood prevention. Ran diagnostics and get error codeF8-E2 drain motor electrical issue. Drained out all water with shop vac. Removed drain pump and found debris lodged in impeller. replaced Drain pump W10876537. Test unit and fills but wash motor never operates. Am able to drain. Ran diagnostics again and get F4-E3 motor not operating. Need to replace sump and motor. Replaced sump and motor W11025157 and re test unit. Unit is now operating as designed. No leaks present at this time. Job complete"

"MVW7230HW1 Arrived to inspect noise. The customer advised the sound was similar to grinding gears. Service test mode had F6E3 and I cleared for testing, also attributing the stored error to the possibility of the error to gear case/motor issues and over-currenting, known to occasionally cause that error. During manual test modes, I could hear excessive gear noise at lower spin speeds. Inspection of the motor and gear case area reveled the presence of oil in an apparent recent leak, series of events. Further inspection revealed parts of a garment had wrapped around the upper shaft, damaging the inner seal and causing water to incur into the planetary drive area and subsequent loss of oil at the motor end. I moved and replaced the gear case and slider and then calibrated the control. Testing in automatic and manual modes proofed the issue as resolved and the unit operated as designed, with all functions present. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived on site to inspect unit for burners not heating. Upon closer inspection found cord was hooked up backwards. Swapped cord around but after doing so one on the leads pulled out of eyelet due to improper crimping. Informed customer that power cord will need to be replaced to get rid of power supply issue that is currently apparent due to cord not being set up properly. Job complete. NO PARTS USED

"KRMF706EBS01 Arrived to inspect no cool. I found the source of the leak at the dye drier connection and I removed and replaced the drier to correct. The customer advised the last repair did not last overnight. I vacuumed the system to 270 microns and then it held below 500, reaching 470 microns after approximately 15 minutes and steadily tapering off, towards the end of the monitored time. The increase in microns is likely due to the fact the system had a severe leak and lost refrigerant while running, creating a vacuum in the low side and when shut down, it drew significant moisture. The customer will contact us if issues persist. No water connections to unit."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that has a locked lid and water at the bottom of the washer. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit just stopped in the middle of the wash, and has not been running since. I did find the washer full of water and getting access underneath. I did not find any wires broken and checked resistance on the drain pump. I found the drain pump open and the drain pump had internally combusted. I replaced the drain pump and checked my loads from the control. I found all loads within range. I tested the unit and found the unit continually stuck in a drain due to water being stuck in the washer for the past week and a half. I replaced out the control in around the unit through an auto test. The unit ran and operated as designed with no leaks present during operation. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to follow up on ice machine not producing ice. On door open I found the unit very hot on the inside, with no cooling at all. I found green trails running down the back, and green drips in the unit. Advised customer the unit has a corroded sealed system that's full of contaminants and would require an entire sealed system rebuild to resolve. Due to age of unit I recommended replacement / no repair. Call completed, no parts used."

"Arrived onsite for washer making a noise. On inspection I found nothing during the diagnostic cycle. I flipped the unit up found no oil on the unitI pulled the rotor off and pulled the slider off found some marks on the slide. A installed a new slider and clutch into the unit. I leveled the basket to the unit it was touching the rights side of the cabinet, it is centered now to opening of the unit. "John site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found a noise coming from underneath the washer when it was trying to shift into agitation. Found that after it tried to agitate once, the unit was shut off. I came to access underneath and found the shifter stuck in a bind and not shifting properly. I replaced the actuator, Kim, and belt. Test of the unit several times and found the unit working an operating as designed. I did check to see if there was something stuck underneath the basket, but the one of the hub assembly screws was stripped and would not come out of the basket. I did run the unit through multiple tests and found the unit working and operating as designed. I had the customer run a couple loads on the washer and I advised her that I would call her back later in the afternoon. I called the customer back and the customer advised that the unit had washed 3 to 4 cycles without any issue. The unit is working an operating as designed. Call complete.
