"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is still leaking. Water into the refrigerator compartment. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that every two weeks, the water inside of the refrigerator tends to leak out and freezes. I found evidence of moisture running down the back wall from the icebox adapter again. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Nate SR# 7738951147. We have a liner that is warped internally. We have made multiple attempts to correct this issue. What we have found is that the internal refrigerator liner is bowed and warped. When the icebox adapter is installed, the liner does not create the seal, causing the gaskets to leak air and condensation down the back of the liner. There are no further repairs that can be made. The office will need to contact the extended warranty for alternate resolution."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator making noise at times. The customer had a video and it was the RC evaporator fan making the noise. I found the right side of the cover not sealing causing the issue. "WMH31017HS08 Arrived on site for unit making buzzing noise. Upon arrival, customer mentioned unit has movement on the right hand side. Proceeded to further inspect and found the rear mounting bracket needs to be raise about an inch and a half in order for the unit to not sag. Due to the sagging of the unit, the buzzing noise is more evident. Showed customer when pushing microwave away from side cabinet stopped the buzzing noise from happening. This is due to poor installation. Advised customer to reach out to builder to correct installation. No parts replaced"

"Arrived onsite for a range that has no power. Inspected the unit and work area. The customer advised hat hey have had several electrical storms recently and the oven stopped working after one of the storms. She tried resetting all the breakers in her garage but the range never came back on. Oddly enough, the unit began to have power this morning and seems to be working. I tested all four burners and found them all working. I tested the 350?F and found the unit completely preheat and reached proper temperature. I checked the breaker box outside and found the breaker tripped but the machine still having power. I did advise the customer that the issue would most likely be with her breaker because their breaker is not supposed to send voltage when it has tripped. I flipped off the breaker and flipped it back on and found the unit turn on and everything working as designed. I did check the back at the terminal block and the wire harness leading up to the control and did not find any grounding of any wires. Advisor customer that at this point, the issue may have been the storm knocking out the breaker but advised that if this came back, they would need a new breaker to the unit. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."

"Arrived on site to inspect ice machine leaking water. Upon further inspection, I found the unit pulled out from the cabinets and unplugged with the water source turned off. I plugged the unit in and turned the water on and found no immediate water leaks. Turned the unit on and allow to test in normal cycle and found the water level sensor not sensing the water level in the reservoir correctly. Also found dry water streaks on the front of the toeplate (photos), so I tested the bin thermistor and found it out of range which tells me the bin is filling too high with ice and that is whats causing the dry water streaks on the toeplate cover. I inspected the external drain pump and found no leaks. Found no leaks at the incoming water source line at the back of the unit. Found no signs of the water leaks in the cabinets/flooring where the unit is housed. Also found no signs of a leak at the drain hose/pipe or valve/water line connection under the sink. Due to the water spilling over in the reservoir and the bin thermistor out of range, I am ordering the recirculating pump and bin thermistor and scheduled return service for 06/05/24. No water leaks observed during service. Unit left unplugged and water source turned off for safety. I removed the evaporator cover and found the brown heater wire almost pulled out. I resecured the wire and added some electric tape to the connector. I power cycled the unit and tested the defrost heater. Verified heater is coming on and working as designed. I advised the customer on proper procedure to defrost to remove the ice. "Arrived on site to inspect range cooktop burner not igniting. Upon further inspection, I tested the cooktop burners and found the back right burner does not arc, but is emitting gas. Also, I tested both ovens and found the large oven ignitor is arcing and the gas is emitting, but the burner is not igniting. I pulled the unit out and removed the back cover to find the large oven bake ignitor is not connected (photo). I connected the ignitor and tested and oven is operating as designed. I removed the front panel and inspected the switch harnesses and found the far right burners switch harness had some purple tape on the black wire. I removed the harness and removed the tape and found the black wire had been cut. Using some heat shrink, I mended the harness and retested and the unit is operating as designed. Sr#7739143063 arrived onsite and determined unit has moisture in the cabinet from improper installation. This is causing mold on the grease in the cabinet and arcing around the hi voltage components. Advised customer on findings. Made safety report. No repairs recommended or approved.

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven not reaching preheat temp. Upon further inspection, I checked the tools to make sure the unit had not been calibrated and it hadnt, but I found the unit was reading temps in Celsius mode (photo). I sent a text to the builder and they advised that the unit had been tested with an infrared laser gun. I advised that the gun cannot provide accurate temp readings as it tests surface temps and not air temps. I changed the temp units to Fahrenheit and proceeded with testing using my multimeter and placing the thermal couple in the middle of the center rack and testing on Bake at 350 degrees. My preheat temp was 362 degrees. The next five readings were 377, 319, 371, 323, 372 for an average temp of 352.4 degrees. My average temp is within manufacturing specifications. I notified the builder and advised of my testings and unit is operating as designed. No repairs needed at this time, job completed. No one available to sign for receipt. No parts installed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not dispensing ice. Upon further inspection, tested the ice dispenser and ice dispensed. Inspected the bin and it was full of ice, but I noticed the bin was pushed in fully and not seated correctly causing the motor coupler to not engage with the bin auger. I removed the bin and tested the cubed/crushed selections and both are operating as designed. I placed the bin back in place and demonstrated for the customer how the dispenser wont function properly when its not pushed in fully and how it functions properly when it is pushed in fully. I demonstrated several times and advised that the bin rests on the two slides that have hooks on the ends the sit in the bin to hold it in place. Unit is operating as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect wall oven not working. Upon further inspection, I found the unit panel display blank and non-responsive. I checked the breaker and found it to be a GFCI breaker and it was tripped. I cycled power to the unit and pulled the unit out onto my oven dolly and gained access to the elements and control for testing. Tested the unit in Bake at 350 degrees on Rapid preheat until it reached 205 degrees. Tested voltage during this time and found the unit is getting 246V and providing same voltage to the elements. Switched the preheat to Standard Preheat and retested and got the same results and the unit reached preheat temps with no failures. I cycled power and removed and replaced the main control and tested ohms readings to the elements and TOD and all were within manufacturer specifications. I cycled power and retested on Standard Preheat and the unit continued to operate as designed. I advised the customer of my findings, repairs and advised that if the breaker trips again to contact the builder to have the breaker replaced and they will need to contact the manufacturer of the breaker to report. Also, recommended to the customer that if the breaker trips, they will need to leave the breaker off for a minimum of 5-10 mins to allow the breaker to cool before cycling power back on. Arrived on site to flow up on refrigerator that was having issues with doors closing / mullion hitting. On arrival customer pointed out that they had leveled it and the mullion was seated in the guide pocket now. I took several pictures and verified proper operation. Since customer had correctly adjusted the geometry of the cabinet the door is operating correctly and there is no need to replace the door. I replaced the mullion because the current one had a cracked mount. This concludes all repairs and unit is working as designed. Repair completed.

Upon arrival found pantry lid broken allowing to much cold air to settle into lower drawer, found right side rc gasket broken as well as mullion not heating up and causing moister to build up and leak down doors. Ordering WP12722813AP mullion, W10830055 gasket, W10858393 frame and rescheduled customer for 06/03/24; ordrng 1 W10830055 (Gasket) and 1 WP12722813AP (Mullion)"

"Arrived on site to test unit for no power. Customer stated unit work intermittently. When it doesnt no lights show up on the console. Tried to enter diagnostics, console is not responding and no lights are appearing. Replaced console control (W11675701), when plugging unit back in console lit up but when pressing buttons console still is not responding. Replaced main control (W11626074) and tested, unit is now responding. Entered diagnostics and ran cycle, all components properly engaging and unit is running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete."

Recovered refrigerant and installed w10139462 compressor, wpw10143759 uv drier, and w11506635 access valve as well as a new wp2304884 start device. Recharged system with 5.3oz. Of r134a. And found psi lvls at 2/150 found even frost pattern and unit working as designed. Informed customer to give unit 24 hrs to cool Call complete"

"On arrival verified complaint of not working range. Customer states after lightning strike it stopped functioning. Error codes displayed were f6e1 and F2E1 over temp and stuck keypad. Checked voltage and polarity are correct. Verified elements are good and not shorted. Temp sensor is within range at 1.08k ohms at room temp. Replaced control and the unit is now working correctly. Ran bake cycle to verify if unit is heating, it is working correctly. Job complete. Installed w11594224"

Arrived on site to test unit for not starting. Found error f6e1(miscommunication between ccu and mcu). Found mcu not engaging basket at different intervals and latch engaging and disengaging randomly. Recommended mcu and latch replacement. Customer stated they would be purchasing a new unit. Arrived on site for unit not cooling and dispenser issues. Upon arrival inspected unit and found that unit is cooling properly at this time. Customer stated that for a period of time almost a week that the unit was not cooling. Was not able to duplicate any issues on this visit dispenser was also functioning at this time . Customer stated that when the unit was not cooling the UI display was not operational or responding . Ordering control and UI. And returning with filter housing. Customer will monitor in the meantime. Set to return June 10th; ordrng 1 W11293378 (Control) and 1 W11239666 (UI)

Arrived onsite for unit continuing to make a humming sound. Customer has video but noise has not been isolated. According to customer the noise happens multiple times per day and last about 10-15 minutes. Contacted tech line for assistance. Spoke to Aaron SR#7739175298. Tech recommended being proactive and applying mastic/permagum on cap tube both on evaporator and compressor also ordering a evap fan. Office to reschedule ; ordrng 1 W11631623 (Evap fan assembly) and 1 Permagum (Permagum) and 1 Mastic (Mastic)

"WRS325SDHZ11 Arrived on site for ice not dispensing. Upon arrival, confirmed ice is being produced but will not dispense. Upon inspection, found ice bucket to not be seated therefore the auger shaft is not engaging to the turning tray. Reseated and now unit is functioning as designed. No water leaks present at this time. No parts replaced"

"WRS325SDHZ08 Arrived to complete repair. I had the customer leave the ice maker in the off position since the last visit and they advised that the unit operated as designed and did not display any temperature issues as prior. This proved the ice maker fill tube was intermittently leaking down the back wall and causing the ice issues within the evaporator, further evidenced by the large accumulation within the left side of the drip pan. I modified the fill tube and tested. The issue was resolved and there was no more evidence of water spillage during fill. No leaks observed during service."

"WRF555SDFZ16 Arrived to install sealed system parts. I found the system had a low amount of refrigerant and there was oil residue at the factory connector on the drier. I removed and replaced the compressor, service port and dye drier and vacuumed. Holding at 320 microns, I charged the system with the MFG calculated charge and tested. The unit resumed normal cooling. I replaced the failed FC drawer and the noisy fan motor and blade. No water connections to unit."
