"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. Due to the right RC door gasket being torn, I removed and replaced the gasket and using my heat gun, I heated and shaped the gasket. Checked for air leaks and found none. I recommended the customer leave the right door closed for a few hours to allow the gasket to mold to the chassis and door. The customer advised the freezer (FC) was making a loud rattling noise. I disassembled the Fc section and gained access to the evaporator and found the suction line and cap tub resting on the evap cover and the defrost thermistor was in the incorrect place on the evaporator. Charged to specs with 55g of r600a. Unit now working as designed. Advised customer to place bottle or glass of water in FC and when frozen solid to use unit. No leaks detected. Job complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher with no power. Upon further inspection, I attempted to place the unit in diagnostics and it failed to respond. I checked voltage at the junction box and found 65V. I removed the outer door panel and inspected the main control and tested at the control and again found only 65V. I found the L1 to ground was 124V and L1 to neutral was 65V. Checked the breaker and found it to be a standard breaker and was on. Customer advised the light above the sink is on the same circuit and it was on telling me the unit should be getting 124V. I pulled the unit out and tested the outlet and found it good. Checked the lower outlet and it too was good. Ohmed out the power cord and found the neutral side was melted but the cord was testing good. I checked the outlet and found the left side of the plug was blackened and appeared to be slightly melted (photo). I re-wired the unit/cord and plugged it into the lower plug and the unit powered on. I tested the unit and it responded. I put the unit back in its space and reassembled the unit and tested in diagnostics. Unit showed no error codes and is operating as designed. I recommended the customer replace the outlet for safety reasons and when not in use or not home, I recommended they turn the unit off at the breaker, for safety reasons, until they can get the outlet replaced. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. No parts installed."

"WRS321SDHB01 Arrived to install previously diagnosed and ordered sealed system parts. I installed the compressor W10507884, pre-cooler W11678305, service port W11506635 and dye drier WPW10143759 after evacuating the system. I found oxidized system oil residue on the condenser to heat loop factory connection and corrected via re-brazing, then vacuumed. Achieving 250 microns and then seeing only a bump to 320 after 15 minutes of vacuum and an additional 15 minutes of dwell time, I attributed the rise to the likelihood of significant moisture that had entered the system due to the prior pre-cooler (water submerged portion) failure. Charging with the MFG calculated 5.3 oz, the unit started cooling as designed and had excellent thermography heat signatures throughout the high side of the system. No water connections to unit."

I used some of the perma gum that was installed last year to seal the side of the rc evap cover where the cold air was leaking out to stop the reservoir from freezing. No water leaks were detected during service and no parts were installed. I used the heat gun to defrost the reservoir to get the water working."

Arrived onsite for cook not working. On inspection found that the cooktop turns on and the breaker does not trip. Called and talked with WP Tech line and found out the this unit will not heat up unless there is a metal pot or pan on the burner. Called talked with the builder and found out they changed out the breaker and it had stop tripping after the new breaker. Builder is bring an iron skillet tomorrow to test. "Arrived on site for a range that is burning items in the oven. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advise it after they use the oven on Easter Sunday, the unit has been completely over cooking everything that they put in there and then it errors out and will stop cooking. Around the unit to diagnostics and found an F6 E1 (oven over-temperature) error code. I tested both elements and found both them working. Per the tech sheet I replaced the control, but I also replaced the oven sensor as well just in case. I tested the unit at 350?F and found temperatures fluctuate between 405?F and 321?F, averaging a temperature of 366?F. I did advise the customer that that is a little high and did adjust the oven temperature down in calibration down 15?. Arrived on site to diagnose range that was not igniting. Found scorched / damaged wires on the igniter due to the wires pulling out of the molex connector. Replaced the igniter and secured with wire nuts. Verified proper operation. Parts used - 12400035.

"WDT970SAKZ2 Arrived to inspect drying issues. Service test mode showed no errors and the customer was using pods and had rinse agent in the dispenser, set to the factory setting of A3. I corrected the rinse agent to A1, due to conditioned water and pre-rinsing and operated within service test mode. The unit used the expected current during all functions and specifically with the element engaged. I advised the customer of the issue with the pre-measured pods creating excessive foam, which prevents het transfer for drying and to discontinue use. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

Arrived on site for washing machine that will not start a cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit was working fine and then it just stopped even starting the cycle. He said that it makes a buzzing sound and then it will go to Completed cycle. I tested the unit on a normal wash cycle and did confirm the customers complaint. I attempted to spin the basket by hand and found the basket hard to spin. I checked underneath the washer and found that the cam nut had fallen off and had caused the drive pulley to rub and melt on the cover shield. I removed the cover shield and drive pulley and replaced the cam assembly. I added extra Loctite to the nut to create a proper seal. Tested the unit and found the unit working and operating as designed. Call complete. W10721967.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is flashing a low flow. Error code. Inspected unit and work area. Around the unit three diagnostics and found an F0 E3 (overload) and F8 E1 (low/no water detected during the full) error codes. I tested the valves individually and found poor water supply coming through the washer. I went ahead and replaced the valves and tested the unit. I did find better water flow, but still found reduced water flow coming to the unit. The customer explained that ever since they built up the neighborhood, their water supply pressure has seemingly dropped. I did advise the customer that if they continue to have issues, they may need to have the city come look at their water pressure coming to the house. I did find the unit was working. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator freezer frosting up and making a loud noise. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=16 degrees. When I placed the unit in diagnostics, I found the UI missing digits. I forced a defrost on the unit in test 38 and disassembled the FC section and found the FC drawer brackets broken and ice/frost on the evap cover. Removed the ice/frost debris and removed the evap cover and found ice across the top of the evaporator (photos). I found the evap motor engulfed in ice and removed the ice from around the fan blades. I found the defrost element not heating due to a burnout on the right side of the element. I placed the unit back into diagnostics and tested the fan in test 3 and the fan motor failed to come on. I tapped on the fan motor and it would intermittently turn on. Also found the right RC door gasket torn; the ice bin door gasket badly crimped; and the ice maker housing fascia gate warped and would not open/close. When the unit went out of defrost mode, I found the evap producing a good frost pattern. I am ordering the UI, HV control, evap fan motor blades, FC bracket set, ice maker housing fascia, ice bin door, fill tube heater, right RC door gasket and CNOTE-2HR JOB. Also ordering a CNOTE-AUTHORIZATION FOR PARTS. Used a flashlight to shine light in the unit with the door closed and found about an 8 inch gap where the gasket was not Forming to the liner. It was exactly in the vicinity of the ice formation. Used heat gun to fluff gasket to create a good seal. Use light once again and found no air gaps. Unit is functioning properly. Job complete."

Advised customer water tray washer is sitting in has a big hole cut out from center and is useless. May have been cut out by contractor. Recommended having tray be replaced to prevent damage to home in case unit leaks. No leaks detected at this time. Unit currently working as designed. Job complete."

"KDTE234GPS0 Arrived to inspect plastic melted to heater. I found and verified the issue and the heater will need to be replaced upon return. The sump diverter had been leaking and there were signs of recent water leaking through the diverter and into the floor. The manifold for the middle spray arm failed, having the check valve assembly at the back of the manifold broken loose and allowing water to flow around the assembly, causing washability issues. Customer has the unit connected to WiFi through the app on their phone and even trying to control the unit from their phone, the unit failed. Per customer the issue is only in the fresh food section where temperatures are ranging from 40-50 degrees. Todays visit shows 40 degrees. Ordering RC evap harness and also replacing UI and control. Arrived on site for walloven went damaged upper door. Upon arrival confirmed issue and replaced door glass w11600222. Found unit working as designed. Call complete

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with failed rear stop on the upper right rail. Repaired stop to prevent rack from coming out of place. All checks good.

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. I replaced the gear case, slider, clutch, stater, rotor, screws, control, and user interface. I attempted to program the new control and user interface with the model and serial information, and gave both Controls 5 to 7 minutes apiece to try to update the information over to the new boards. I found that the model and serial information would not transfer over to the new control or user interface. I attempted to try to update those controls and found nothing was working. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Robert SR# 7739140115. He advised that the model and serial information should have transferred over and he did not know what would be causing this issue. He said not to make any further repairs at this time and that he would send this to review. He advised that whirlpool would be in contact with my cell for the customer depending on the next steps. Arrived on site for loose handle . Tightened down handle set screws . Handle is succure. No other issues found . No water leaks detected.no parts installed

"Arrived onsite and found unit operating with low ice production and tested cause. Found even set to thickest ice production the resevoir level sensor was stopping short of full by about half an inch. Replaced the recirculation pump and sensor assembly and tested again. Found good thick ice production to have resumed observed one harvest cycle and determined unit is operating to produce good thick ice, all checks good."

"Arrived onsite for a no heat dryer. The customer stated the dryer runs but doesnt tumble and prior to this it was taking multiple cycles to dry a load of clothes. I found the belt broken and the drum hard to turn. The unit will require a rebuild kit and belt. Arrived on site to test unit for condensation build up on FC door gasket. Recommend installing foam strip behind door gasket. No parts replaced at this time. Office to reschedule. ; ordrng 2 W11159728 (Foam strip)s

Arrived on site for a refrigerator thats not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised the unit is partially cooling but that the freezer is not getting cold enough again. He advised that the freezer usually hangs around 20? and is keeping things soft and not freezing things. I did confirm the customers complaint and found Brad and other items not frozen inside of the freezer. Took a temperature of the freezer in found it at 90?F. Found a big old ice ball on the backside of the evaporator cover indicating a leak or restriction at the evaporator. Ordering all sealed system components in the office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to limited parts availability and for a three hour service. Arrived on site for washer off balance and sometime not spinning load out . Found a lot of bounce in basket . Replaced suspension rods W11130362. Ran calibration and diagnostic tests. All checked normal. No water leaks detected at time of service. Job complete

"Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a photo and video of the clothing arrangement and the noise the unit was making. I placed he unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. The unit operated as designed. When I went to test the suspension rods by pushing down on the tub assembly, I found the tub wouldnt go down. I tilted the unit back and found the cam pulley shield had fallen off of the gearcase and was badly damaged by the pulley/belt assembly (photos). I advised the customer of my findings and what was causing the noises they were hearing. Due to the cam and belt being badly worn from rubbing on the shield, I removed and replaced the cam assembly and belt and calibrated the unit and retested. Unit continues to operate as designed. I am ordering the shield and two (2) screws and scheduled return service for 05/27/24. No water leaks observed during service and I recommended the customer perform small loads until I can get back with the new shield.; ordrng 1 W11409708 (Shield) and 2 W11573574 (Shield screw)s and 1 W10721967 (Splutch assembly) and 1 WPW10006384 (Belt)"

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that has no power. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit was working fine up until a few weeks ago. She advised that the unit will just not turn on and that she believes it has to do with the electrical storms they experienced a few weeks ago. I gained access to the terminal block area and found proper voltage once I took off the wire nuts. I put the wires back into their connectors and reapply power. Found the unit turn on and start to work and operate as designed. I ran the unit for an auto test and then worked as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed.

On arrival verified complaint of right side RC gasket is damaged. Found left is good. Replaced right gasket and unit is now sealing after heating up gasket. Job complete no leaks detected during service. Parts installed w10830274

"Arrived on site to test unit for issues with heavy duty cycle, customer stated that water does not fill on heavy duty, explained to customer that when ever the extra power button is activated the water does not fill unit the unit goes through a concentrated detergent soak, but advised customer that that function can be deactivated by pressing the center button, all components are activating and running as designed, no leaks detected job complete no parts installed"

Arrived on site to test unit for dispensing on its own. Replaced dispenser UI(W11574766). Advised customer to monitor. If issue persists recommend control replacement.

"KBFC42FTS04 Arrived to install parts. I found the issue with the slides had resolved, as the prior ice within them had been removed via natural processes and time. The cause of the ice formation was the kick plate that was missing, had been put up behind the upper cover at some point. The kick plate had fallen into the RC door closer areas on both sides, causing the RC doors to not close fully and as designed. When I removed the kick plate, the issue was resolved and the doors operated as designed, with a significantly better seal. The FC upper drawer was also not set correctly and after correcting, the FC door shut fully. No additional charge and no leaks observed during service."

Arrived on site for fridge making a lot of noise from freezer side . Ran diagnostics couldnt duplicate noise . Ran harvest test and ice maker is making loud creaky noise when flexing . Replaced ice maker W11284458. Unit is sounding normal. No water leaks detected at time of service. Job complete

"Arrest onsite for refrigerator not dispensing ice. On inspection I found the ice bin had a clump of ice frozen to the bottom of the bin. I melted the ice off. Then I noticed that there was lumps of ice in the ice bin I pulled them and threw them away. I inspected the ice bin door and there is an air gap at the top on both sides. Odering a new door and a gasket. The ice on the bottom look like it was from the ice cubes melting an melting down to the auger motor and refreeze. Some of the ice cubes were smaller than the fresh ice cubes, they look like they have melted down. No parts were installed. ; ordrng 1 W11399564 (Ice bin door) and 1 W11625019 (Ice bin gasket)"
