Arrived on site for a dryer that is making a drilling noise. Inspected unit and work area. I tested the unit and immediately heard the sound upon entry. I disassemble the unit and found that the motor had not been properly mounted to the motor mount. I reattached one of the clips that had fallen off and replaced the blower wheel. Arrived onsite for a washer that will not spin out. The customer stated it didnt spin out or drain correctly on the last cycle they ran and they had to power the machine back up then it did drain. I found no stored error codes. I started a regular cycle and found the basket not spinning and the motor just humming. I found the cam had come apart because the nut had backed off. I replaced the cam due to damage and the belt. I tested the machine and found it working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a wall oven that has no power. Upon arrival I Checked that the breaker was not tripping and it was not. I removed the unit from the wall and gained access to the fuse and tested it and found that it showed open. I replaced it and tested the unit and found the unit operating as designed i the put the unit back in the wall

Arrived on site to test unit for unit running for 3 hours on normal. Showed customer how long the unit rinds with out heat dry and no long it takes when normal and heat dry are on. Unit working as designed job complete

"Arrived on site for a range that has a gas odor. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit has given off a gas odor 3 times since they originally moved in in October and that it has not been consistent but that they had Atmos come out and tell them that it was an issue within the oven. The customer stated that it only happens when they use the bake cycle on this unit and it does not always smell like gas. They advise that theyve been using this thing repeatedly even with the three separate instances, and if they have not experienced any fireballs, or any kind of abnormal use within the machine. Are used a carbon meter to test carbon detection and did not register any measurement of CO2 inside the unit, in front of the unit, or in the back of the unit. I tested the unit several times and multiple spots and still cannot get any detection of CO2 Monoxide. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Nate SR# 7738653681. He had me do a few checks, but did advise that if the unit was leaking, the customer wouldve experienced a fireball or some sort of explosion, especially since the customer has been using the product repeatedly after having those gas smells. He advised that the most likely occurrence would be the burned up gas since it is a gas oven. He advised that since no CO2 levels were recorded on the front, back, or inside of the oven, the issue would have to be that or some thing on the gas provider side. Advise. The unit is working an operating as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for washer not cleaning clothes. On inspection I saw the load of clothes that was going into the washer. I explained that you can not put that many in the washer. Customer was filling the washer to the top of the unit before they started the unit up. I showed customer how high the clothes should be in the tub. The customer is going to try the suggestion I give to her. The unit is operating correctly and no water leaks detected during service.

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with noises customer concerned about noises. Identified some of the noises as defrost popping and hissing. Advised this will happen as many as 2 times per day. "KRFC704FBS05 Arrived to inspect temperature issues. Upon arrival, the unit was cooling and I found 37 in the RC and -8 in the FC. Six hour temperatures recorded by the control system were: RC, max 69, min 32, avg 37. FC, max 59, min -18, avg -2. Pantry, max 69, min 29, avg 33. Ice box, max 62, min -13, avg 13. The ice in was full and everything appeared to operate as expected. This service, both evaporators were completely clear of ice mass and frost. Having prior history with this temperature swing issue on limited other machines, the UI, dispenser UI and HV control should be replaced simultaneously. I contacted the MFG tech assist service and conferred. Tech Johnathan, file #7738649866. The tech agreed and the parts will be ordered and installed. Arrived on site to diagnose washer that was not draining. Examined unit and found the drain pump wires broken off at the terminals on the pump. I used some solder seals and new spade terminals to put larger gauge wiring on the damaged area to keep it from breaking again. Tested pump and verified all is working as designed. Repair completed.

Arrived onsite for a vent hood that is making loud squeaking noise when in use. Upon arrival I ran the unit on mid and high and found that there was a loud squeaking/squealing noise. I removed the blower wheel and found some scoring in the back of the wheel caused by a screw that was used to mount the buffer to the unit I ground down the screw and smoothed out the scoring on the back of the wheel with sandpaper and reinstalled the blower wheel and tested the unit and found that the noise was gone.I demonstrated that the noise was gone to the customer. The customer made me aware that they were not satisfied with the unit and I advised them to contact whirlpool customer care with any concerns

Arrived onsite for a dryer that stopped mid cycle on time dry. Upon arrival I the customer advised me that the unit would also stop and start on its own. I then tested the unit by running the unit in time dry but couldnt duplicate the issue. I gained access to the thermistors and the heating element and tested them with my multimeter and found them good. While doing this I found a loos screw sitting in the cabinet which I removed. The I gained access to the lower wheel and found that the seal that goes between the cabinet and the duct damaged. I am ordering the seal and setting return for the 03\15\24; ordrng 1 WP339956 (SEAL)

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is going off balance and refilling. The customer advised that they have uneven floors in their laundry room and they assumed that that might be the issue. When they moved the washer to a different location, the unit seem to do a lot better with finishing out loads. I did confirm the uneven surfaces and checked the suspension. Found the suspension was good. I ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed but I found the washer rocking. I went ahead and adjusted the feet on the washer to level out the unit. Tested the unit and the unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for a steam oven that is giving a container empty error and will not steam. I checked for stored error codes and found none. I activated the pumps and heat for the steam and all worked as designed. I ran a steam cycle and found the unit working as designed. The unit is not connected to WiFi. I helped the customer get it connected to their phone app and connected it to WiFi to allow the oven to update. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke with Jonathan SR# 7738650077. Jonathan confirmed that the unit did need to be connected to WiFi to update the ACU for a bug that needed fixed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher not running. Checked errors and found F8E4, F9E2 errors. I ran the unit and checked for leaks. Removed front panel and found no water coming from vent or door area. I did notice one corner of the door gasket was inverted a bit compared to the other corner. Removed and reseated door gasket. Advised possibly switching soap brands due to the soap suds from their existing soap were almost going over the front lip. Unit does not shoe any signs of leaking when I reran. Repair completed."

Arrived on site for washer not shutting off drain cycle. Upon arrival found control relay fused and causing power to stay on to drain pump. Found pump bad also and replaced both parts. Reassembled and tested unit. Found washer working as designed with no leaks. Call complete

Arrived on site on test unit for flames to high. Found right front and left front burner flames to high. Found burner cap not sitting correctly. Secured cap test unit and unit test good job complete.

Arrived on site to relaxed tub and hinges. Replaced tub and hinges and found tub was not the correct one it didnt have the 3rd rack whole for the tracks. Will order new tub office to reschedule and Inspect new tub. ; ordrng 1 WPW10327249 (Fill valve) and 1 W11649982 (Tub) and 1 2hourjob (2 hour job)

"On arrival verified complaint of not function F8E4. On arrival unit is powered off. Looked under unit for any signs of excess water or leaks, no signs found. Had to remove float switch to see better. Tested float switch and it is good, returned power and ran diag mode. No error codes found. Ran normal cycle and it ran 10 minutes no issue. Previously it would not start the cycle without popping the code up. Verified against the AFL video and found it had most likely been a bad connection at float switch which was repaired during the course of my diag testing. Job complete no leaks detected during service."

Arrived on site for washer not going into wash cycle . Ran diagnostics no error codes and unit passed wash test . Found out talking to customer that she lifted the lid and didnt hit start . Instructed on use of unit . No water leaks detected at time of service. Job complete.

"Arrived on site for washer pausing at the end of rinse and spin cycle. Upon arrival found washer completely off lvl and rocking back and forth and f0E9 in diagnostics. Ran cycle and found water pressure weak through valve and back left suspension rods also weak. Ordering W11400156 rods, and W11595805 valve and rescheduled customer for 03/14/24 to complete repairs. ; ordrng 1 W11400156 (Rods) and 1 W11595805 (Valve)"

"Arrived on site for washer making a buzzing noise. Upon arrival found f0E9, f9E1, f0E2, f8e1 in diagnostics. Found lid wouldnt fully shut due to failing hinges. Ordering W11551369 left and right W11551376 hinges and will need to return with previous parts to also replace valve and pump. Rescheduled customer for 03/14/24; schdld next appmnt for 3/14 THU !"

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop flames. Upon further inspection, I tested all burners and found the, too high with orange/yellow tips. I found the unit is operating on propane and the orifices are natural gas. I converted the unit to propane orifices (provided by the customer) in all burners and retested and adjusted the flames and the unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to replace faulty harness diagnosed on previous trip. Replaced harness, tested unit, unit would not cycle past drain, and found drain hot to the touch. Replaced drain, tested unit, issue persisted. Replaced actuator and control, tested unit, unit is running as intended. No leaks present at this time. Job complete."

Arrived on site to install dishwasher spring bushings. Replaced bushings and verified proper operation. Repair completed.

Arrived onsite for a washer that is not operating. Upon arrival the customer informed me that they had not scheduled any service with us and I left.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine. That is not finishing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. We customer devise at the unit tends to not finish out more often than it does. I found the unit unlevel due to the flooring and the customer had a load inside of it. I ran the unit through a drain and spin And found the load bouncing off the front panel. I found that the tub was leaning up against the front panel, causing the issue. I adjusted the feet on the washer and checked the suspension. I found the suspension was good. I did find that the customer was washing a blanket with other shirts and pants. I did advise the customer against mixed loading due to that issue of going off balance as well. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I did advise the customer that the issue is most likely with the unit being on level and with potential loading issues. Went over loading tips on the washer and found the unit working an operating as designed. Call complete."
