"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that won't start a cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they just tried to use the dishwasher not too long ago, and the unit will just beep at them if they try to start a cycle. I did confirm the customer's complaint and found the unit flashing an F8 E4 (float switch open) error code. I gained access underneath and found the connector for the float switch disconnected from the float switch. I reconnected the connector and tested the unit in diagnostics. Re secured screw and now door does not wobble. Continued to inspect RC evaporator cover and found ice buildup. Need to replace evaporator cover and clear drain line and make sure drain tube for RC exit is clear of debris. Ran diagnostics and found noise coming from RC evaporator fan blade hitting ice. Arrived on site to diagnose a unit with no power and no lights. Tested the outlet and confirmed it was supplying 122.3V. Verified correct voltage at the terminal block.Removed the front panel and checked for voltage at the black wire on the control board found 0V. Discovered a broken black wire that was not delivering power to the board. Located the corresponding broken wire and repaired the issue by installing a new connector. Arrived on site to diagnose a unit not washing.Ran diagnostics and retrieved error code F7E2 Variable Speed Wash Motor Failure. Inspected and confirmed faulty wash motor. Replaced sump and motor assembly.Tested the unitno leaks present and unit is operating as designed. Job complete.
