"Arrived on site for washer, making a grinding noise during spam. Upon arrival confirm noise complaint, and found after further testing that the inner gears of the gearcase were starting to fail and leaking oil all over. I then found that the washplate was rusted on to the gearcase and had to be broken in order to be removed safely. After getting authorization for gearcase and washplate replacement, i then replaced both parts, then reassembled and tested unit and found no leaks and unit now fully functioning as designed with no odd noises. Call complete."

"WTW4816FW3 Arrived to inspect washer leaking. I could see evidence of water in the concrete garage floor around the washer. The customer advised they did see I noted the drain line was not fully inserted into the drain and corrected it for testing, advising the customer that I would add a safety strap prior to completing the call. I entered service test mode and found no stored error codes and filled the unit to its maximum allowed level in manual test mode, even causing the shield to make contact with the floor. I found no leaks with the static test and agitated at high speed, again with no leaks observed. I re-calibrated and ran an automatic test mode and all worked as designed. My suspicion is the partially inserted drain line, over the top of the cold water supply line, was the source of the water due to falling out of the drain standpipe, or nearly, and then dropping back in after drain operations. I added a drain safety strap. No leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer door locked. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F3E1-water level system error. Cleared the code and continued with testing. Once the unit filled, I found a large amount of suds in the drum (photo). Also found the water valves at the wall are leaking (photo). Customer advised that they used a detergent pod and a small amount of detergent in the dispenser when the unit stopped operating properly. I advised that it was too much detergent and the unit went into flood mode (F3E1) and explained to the customer how the unit operates. At the end of testing, the unit is operating as designed. I made recommendations for use & care, as well as, detergent use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Service mode testing revealed the play was worse than initially discovered and there was a clear thunk as the unit rotated at lower speeds. I advised the customer of my findings after verifying the main bolt was tight in the rotor. The customer has elected to replace the unit at this time. No leaks observed during service.

"WED4900XW2 Arrived to inspect no heat. The customer had the unit in timed dry upon arrival and it had been running for at least 10 minutes. The drum was room temperature. I pulled the machine out and traced all devices within the heater circuit and found no issues. I restarted the unit and tested and the heating finally failed- L2 had disappeared and I found it missing up to the terminal block. Flexing the plug in the wall receptacle proved to cause the L2 voltage to come and go, in sync with plug movement. Inspection of the plug terminals revealed arcing that has occurred on the terminal spades and possibly within the outlet.I advised the customer to replace the outlet and make a determination of the intactness and serviceability of the cord/plug assembly. Warranty applied to service."

There was no heat on the high side discharge and total current draw of the unit was .85 amps, far too low for a correctly operating compressor. I advised the customer they have a compressor failure. The customer will contact the MFG to see if the compressor can be shipped direct and if they may utilize our service for installation. No leaks observed during service.

"KBHS109SSS03 Andrew. File #7736057622. MFG tech verified the provided diagram for this unit is correct. The reason for the inquiry to the tech assist line was the 4903 supply line to the inverter showed voltage when the door was opened. According to the diagram, this should not be a possibility, as the relay was operating correctly and the secondary interlock, was supposed to open as well. MFG advised it is backfeed and a normal condition. Proceeding with diagnostics, visual inspection only revealed the emitter section of the magnetron with the appearance of some excessive heat. I removed and replaced the magnetron and inverter and tested. The issue was resolved and the unit heated as designed.

I vacuumed the system and charged it with 6 ozs of R134A. I tested the unit and had good pressures. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for washer making a noise. On inspection could not duplicate the noise, I flipped the unit up and there is no evidence of gear failure. Removed the pulley cover and found no oil, the spring in the splutch was weak making the clutch lose the belt was stretched out.I replaced the capacitor,the splutch and belt. I tried to calibrate the unit and could not make it go into calibration mode. Called technical line and they tried to walk me through get the unit into calibration mode without any luck. They sent it up to the engineer depending, they will send me a email when they figure out what was going on. Informed the customer that I might be back due to not being about to caliber the unit.
