Arrived on site to test unit for ice chunking and leaking around dispenser area. Found main inlet was weeping causing issue. WAter pressure correct at 55psi. Noticed condensation and corrosion spot on rear of unit. Took temp reading with laser reader and found corrosion spot was about 20 degrees cooler than rest of our cabinet areas. Called Techline for concern with possible insulation. Techline confirmed concern stating unit would not be repairable . Was advised to have customer contact whirlpool for warranty verification.

"Arrived onsite for a washer that will start and show sensing and add water but will not advance. I checked stored codes and had an 8 pressure switch failure, 26 out of balance load, 7 max fill pressure detected, 14 lid lock failure, 19 UI time out, 17 dry load sense timeout, I tested the fill valves and I found the hot water wall valve turned off. I turned it on and found the hose leaking at the wall valve. I tightened the hose to stop the leak and finish testing. I tested all valves and they worked as designed. I tested the pressure sensor and found it working properly. I ran the unit in agitate and spin. Both worked as designed. I tested the suspension and found it good. All pumps were working as designed. The customer had a new set of hoses and asked if I would install them. I replaced the hoses and started the load of towels the washer had in it when I arraigned. The unit is working as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working and temps. Upon further inspection, I found the ice maker had been removed from the unit. I tested temps in the Fc=67 degrees and RC=65 degrees. I disassembled the FC section and removed the evap,cover and found a ball of ice in the upper right corner of the evaporator. I advised the customer that the unit needs a sealed system repair which is still covered under warranty with the manufacturer. I advised the customer that the main control would need to be replaced along with the sealed system components and out company could do the repair, but they would need to get the manufacturer to send them the parts then we could schedule return service and get the repair completed.

Arrived onsite for TOP DOOR GASKET HAS A TEAR AND DOOR WILL NOT SEAL WELL.. upon arrival found Right side door gasket has failed. Need to replace right side door gasket. Replaced gasket. Formed gasket with heat gun. Leveled the unit. Door now. Closes correctly. Job complete .

Upon further inspection, the customer provided several videos of the noise, which in one video, I could see they were placing their phone at the back of the unit. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested all fans and compressor and could not duplicate the noise. I pulled the unit out and inspected the condenser fan and found the plenum not attached to the coil correctly and the condenser fan leaning forward at the top. I adjusted the plenum and fan and corrected the stance on the fan and retested. Fan is operating as designed and is balanced. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has ice that is clumping. Inspect the unit and work area. The customer advised of the unit I had pumped all of its ice for five days ago and she jumped off the ice and since then, it has not been clumping and has been working properly. She also noticed that there is a little bit of moisture on the top of the freezer door gasket but has not been able to find any water residue anywhere. I did confirm that the ice bucket was full and no ice was clumped. Did not find any water inside or outside of the eye store area. I did find a little moisture on the top of the freezer gasket but did explain to the customer that during high humidity points, moisture can develop on the top of the freezer gasket due to the heat exchange inside of the mullion that goes across the top of the gasket. I ran through diagnostics and was unable to replicate any kind of water overflow from the icemaker or leaking within the refrigerator. The customer advised that she would keep her icemaker off and verify if any more moisture develops on the freezer gasket. The customer will call back if any other issues persist. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the ice maker harvest and it operated as designed. I tested the fill tube and there was no water being dispensed into the tray. I removed the toeplate and disconnected the fill tube at the bottom left corner and no water came out of the tube. I blew through the tube and found it was frozen/clogged. I retested the fill tube with it disconnected and water came from the valve. Once the fill was done, I monitored the tube for any weeping from the valve and found none. I removed the ice maker housing and found the fill tube frozen at the opening. Using my steamer, I removed the ice and reconnected the tubing at the bottom left corner and retested and the ice maker is operating as designed. While testing, I found the damper is making a loud chatter noise. I am ordering the damper/diffuser and scheduled return service for 11/04/22. "Arrived onsite for a washer Shaking and making loud noise. Upon arrival I put unit into diagnostics mode and found F7e9 locked rotor code stored. I attempted to run a cycle and found that the unit would not agitate or spin. Upon further inspection I found that the gearcase was leaking and that there was a burning smell coming from the stator. I am ordering gearcase,stator,rotor,slider and agitator. Also returning with the suspension . ordrng 1 W11550891 (AGITATOR) and 1 W11393685 (GEARCASE) and 1 W10754158 (STATOR) and 1 W10734521 (SLIDER) and 1 W10754161 (ROTOR)"

"Arrived onsite for MAKING LOUD GRINDING NOISE AND GREASE ON COVER UNDERNEATH . Upon arrival inspected unit. Removed cam and found oil leak coming from gear case and spreading around to other components. Motor , belt, cam and shield are covered in oil. Gearcase is leaking oil. Need to replace belt, cam, motor, Gearcase, Shield and 2 shield retaining screws. Need to order motor and screws and return with prescreened parts. Replaced trivet,no ice front dispenser working side panel ui not illuminated and non operational,removed ui no voltage at harness J2 1-4 removed hinge cover checked continuity from from ui harness to hinge harness no continuity on the violet wire ordering a new door and ui panel. ordrng 1 W11254957 (Left hand dispenser door) and 1 W11330486 (Ui side)"
