Arrived on site to test unit for unit not washing. Test unit and found unit getting water and wash motor getting voltage but not coming on. "WRS321SDHZ11 Arrived on site for unit making grinding noise. Upon arrival, customer showed video recording of the issue and sounds like evaporator fan motor hitting ice. Customer unplugged and thawed out unit for 24 hours and issue went away. Proceeded to inspect ice maker fill tube and found water leak from the sleeve extension. Proceeded cut 4 inch fill extension tube to a smaller diameter to sleeve in the inner output of the fill tube (picture attached). Re tested and now unit is functioning as designed. Arrived onsite for washer make a noise. On inspection I ran the unit in diagnostics cycle and the right side of the tub was hitting the side. I set the feet to stop the washer from hitting the side. The washer is operating as designed and no water leaks detected during service. No parts installed.

The customer advised that she does not know exactly whats happening, but that during the spin and drain, it makes a loud, grinding noise that you can hear outside. I ran the unit through an auto test and confirmed the sound when the unit was trying to slow down. I gained access underneath and found the cam, completely stripped due to overloading. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that wont start a cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer explained that the unit will intermittently work and not work but that they are having a hard time getting the unit to start a cycle. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. I attempted to start a cycle 10 separate times and found the unit start every single time. I had the customer explain how they were starting the cycle and he advised that his wife is generally the one who does it, but he was unsure as to how she attempts to start the cycle. I called Whirlpool tech line and spoke to Butch SR# 7739553736. He advised that this model specifically has various sensitive controls where you need to press the start button and hold it until all the lights go across. He said that since I have not been able to replicate the issue, the problem would have to be with the way the customer is trying to start the unit. He advised to make no repairs at this time and to instruct the customer on how to start the cycle. I informed the husband on how to do that and the unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the refrigerator section seems to be somewhat cooling now, but it took three days for the unit to actually cool. He advised that his freezer section will not freeze items and that it took four days for a bottle of ice water to freeze. I checked the door gaskets and found the door gaskets were sealing properly. I did find gaps in the liner on both the refrigerator and freezer sections. I took temperature of the freezer section and found it at 30?F and dropped to 27?F within 15 minutes. I gained access to the compressor and took an amp draw off the compressor. I found the compressor hot to touch and pulling .8 A, I checked the suction tube from the condenser and found minimal heat coming from the condenser side indicating an inefficient compressor. Arrived on site for a refrigerator. That is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the issue is not with the unit making ice but with the unit not dispensing ice. He stated that he can hear the motor turning but the ice wont fall out. I tested the unit and did find a few cubes dropping but the Dispenser motor having a hard time pushing through the ice. I inspected the ice container and found pieces of melted plastic inside the ice container impeding the blades to continue to turn. Ordering the ice container and rescheduled the customer to 7/30. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. Upon entry, I found the icemaker turned off. I turn on the icemaker and found the icemaker harvest and fill as designed. The customer also complained about her temperatures because she says her food is spoiling. She said she has a temperature thermometer in the refrigerator and it has shown the unit to be between 44?F to 52?F. I took temperatures of the refrigerator and freezer and found he refrigerator at 37?F and drop down to 36?F. I took a temperature of the freezer and found it at 6?F. I found no evidence of a defrost issue in the unit. I checked the refrigerator temperature versus the thermometer that was in the refrigerator and found the customers thermometer showing 44.4?F indicating the u it was higher temperature than it was. I showed the customer the discrepancies with the air temperatures and she advised that she still had things growing mold. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Drew SR# 7739555663. He advised that because of the temperature that we recorded, there would be either an issue with the customers temperature thermometer or an issue with where the thermometer was placed. He advised that the unit is working and operating as designed and to make no further repair. Call complete. No parts were installed. ; ;"

The customer advised that the unit would initially log, but then would shut off within a minute or two of the cycle starting. I tested the unit on a quick wash cycle five times and found the unit working and operating as designed. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I ran the unit to an auto test and found the unit working and operating as designed. I tested the unit a few more times trying to start a different cycle selection, and found the unit spin, lock, fill, and agitate. I did advise the customer that because of not being able to replicate the issue, I would be unable to determine exactly what was the cause of their problem. I did advise the customer that generally when components fail, they just fail and wont start working all of a sudden. The customer advised they had some storms in after the storms, the unit has never been able to start a load. We advise that itll start the cycle, but will cancel within a few minutes. I plugged it in and found the unit trying to drain out water. I canceled out the cycle and round the unit into diagnostics. I found the unit start to try to drain water out again and flash an F1 E1 (main control fault) and F2 E1 (stuck key) error codes. I went ahead and replaced the control and tested the unit. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. Due to the left FC door being damaged, I removed and replaced the FC door and tested operations. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. LW11258441"

"Arrived on site to inspect washer error codes. Upon further inspection, I found the unit unplugged with the lid locked. Plugged the unit in and the control panel failed to respond. Gained access to the main control and found the diagnostics LED not flashing or coming on. Following the tech sheet, I removed and replaced the main control and was able to get the unit into diagnostics. I found error codes F6E3-miscommunication between HMI & ACU and F7E7-motor not reaching target RPMs. Cleared the codes and attempted to calibrate the unit and it failed. I manually tested agitation and spin and the unit continued to fail. I tilted the unit back to find the rotor bolt lying on the floor and the rotor loose from the stator (motor). I reattached the bolt and retested and the unit continued to fail. Following the tech sheet for the F7E7 error, I tested voltage at the control and got 121V. I checked ohms to the motor at the J3 connector and got 8ohms from J3-1 to J3-2 and no reading from J3-1 to J3-3. Tilted the unit back and tested the stator at the harness and fund the motor is good as its showing 8-10ohms. I tested continuity in the harness from the J3 brown to the brown wire wt the stator and it was good. I tested the black wire and found it good. When I tested the red wire, I found no continuity reading. When I removed the rotor, I found gearcase oil on the underside of the rotor (photo). I advised the customer of my findings. I am ordering the gearcase, slider, clutch, stator, and lower harness and scheduled return service for 07/25/24. Unit left unplugged for safety and no water leaks observed during service. Returning tech to replace the gearcase, slider and lower main harness and calibrate/test before replacing the stator & clutch. "WED4950HW0 Arrived to inspect no heat. I found the voltage supply to the unit was L1-N 124VAC, L2-N 124VAC and L1-L2 7VAC. During removal of the plug from the receptacle, the receptacle internally arced and tripped the breaker. I advised the customer to have the electrical circuit tested and the receptacle to be replaced. The customer will contact us if there are further issues, after the electrical supply is corrected."

"WFW560CHW4 Arrived to inspect leak. Initial inspection of the entire chassis showed no signs of leaks from the tub or water supply and drain. Several automatic test modes and also filling completely in manual test mode had no results. The tenant had reported the leak with only one type of load, a comforter. Excessive sudsing can easily occur with this type of load, due to very low oil content and the large surface area of the comforter. The excessive suds can then overflow on the lower air vent in the back and I did find touching the vent caused a strong odor of detergent to be detected on my hand. A large comforter can also cause undue pressure on the door and door gasket, also causing intermittent leaks. No leaks observed during service, operational test good."

"WRS325SDHZ08 Arrived to inspect water issue. The customer advised upon arrival that cooling has also become a problem. Measuring temperatures, I found the RC 60 and the FC at 45, and the evaporator cover was coated in approximately 1 of frost. Inspecting further, I found the frost was fully filling the evaporator and that it was of a completely frost consistency, with no solid ice around any part of the defrost heater, denoting no defrost attempts. Due to the entire evaporator area being completely full of frost and not just blocking the intake, I suspected the issue was due to lack of defrost operation and not a longer-term air leak or short duration door ajar. The defrost thermistor circuit, tested at the control and also the lower unit R/H chassis connector, was at 4.3VDC and 53.6K-ohm, possible, due to the severe encasement of frost at the thermistor mounting location and denoting the circuit was intact. I contacted the MFG tech, Joe SR# 7739560282 and advised of my findings. The MFG tech recommended replacing the defrost thermistor and UI. After performing the replacement of the two parts and removing the ice, testing reveled the unit went into a defrost in user mode right after plugging it is, as is sometimes common with this machine and appears to be an indication the issue was resolved. No leaks observed during service."

Per customer unit has been silent for the last 6 days, no fan or compressor noise. Cycled power on the unit, compressor kicked on, checked amp draw, compressor is pulling 2.8 amps. After 10 minutes RC evaporator has developed an ideal frost pattern. Entered diagnostics and turned cooling on for FC, after 3 minutes visible frost pattern has started to develop and fingers are sticking to the coil loops. Unit is now cooling properly. Advised customer to monitor issue by placing a bottle of water into the FC, after frozen solid unit is safe to use. Customer also had a concern with the ice maker, cycled ice maker, ice maker completed harvest and filled but started leaking water. Will need to order an ice maker assembly and dual valve. "Arrived on site to test unit for noise. Upon arrival customer provided voice memos of the sound. It is a metal on metal vibration sound whenever compressor is activated. Removed back panel and inspected area, found clip from start device loose on the floor, resecured start device. Placed back panel without tightening with screws, vibration occurred on the right side, removed panel and found access valve was not bent into the cavity far enough. Access valve was just slightly touching the back panel causing a loud vibrating noise. Bent in the access valve and any tubing close to the back panel. Vibrating noise has been eliminated. Unit is now running as designed, no parts installed, job complete."

"For a washing machine that is not spitting out clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer stated that the issue initially started where the washing machine would not start a cycle. They said that it wouldnt wash on any settings. They said that after a while, the unit started to work But did not spin out their clothes. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I ran the unit for an auto test and found the unit working and operating as designed until it got the spin portion of the cycle. I found that the basket would not turn. I test the unit in regular cycles and found that the unit was not starting any cycles or spinning the basket. I went ahead and replace the control and tested the unit. I still had the same issue indicating a failure with the motor. Ordering parts and rescheduled the customer to 7/30. Arrived onsite for washer leaking water. On inspection found the over suds tube had soap coming out. I grabbed the detergent and saw that it was not HE soap. Informed the customer that it had to be HE detergent to keep the soap suds down so they do not come out the over sud tube. The customer will get HE soap to use. No parts were installed.

"Arrived on site to follow up on ice machine that was only producing tiny ice cubes / slabs. When I checked the unit I found the low side at 6psi, high side at 86 psi, which felt like a low charge. I replaced the control to resolve the fill issues which has been resolved. I evacuated the system and vacuumed down. I noticed my pump struggling to get a full pulldown. After a few minutes it did fully vacuum. I charged to spec and ran. Unit was acting like there may be a restriction and still was not hitting proper pressures. I evacuated and vacuumed down again. Unit still felt like it may be restricted but did come down again. I charged the unit to spec and tested. I found the slab is producing sooner, but will need more time to be sure. If customer is still experiencing issues, a new compressor may be needed along with nitrogen to remove any potential restrictions. Customer advised to follow up if production size doesn't improve. Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher with noisy left side hinge. Tested unit and confirmed noise coming from left hinge. Found the friction pad squeaking on the hinge. Replaced both friction pads. Advised customer can use a tiny bit of lubricant if noise returns. Parts used 2x WP8268961.

Arrived on site to replace vent / damaged chimney cover. Removed and replaced due to a slight warp visible from the front. Verified proper fitment. Arrived on site to diagnose microwave with light out. Customer clarified it was the hood light and not the cavity light. I removed the bulb cover and the bulb dropped out. Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher leaking. Upon visual inspection found sump assembly to be lifted and no making a seal causing water to leak from tub. Sump assembly was missing one locking tab most likely came off during shipping or installation resulting in poor seal . Replaced sump assembly and tested unit. Unit is working as designed. Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not cleaning dishes properly. Upon seeing further inspection placed unit into diagnostic showing error 4-3 and 7-1. Ran a diagnostic cycle and found the wash motor to be faulty. Motor is receiving proper voltage but motor had seized. I replaced the sump assembly and retested the unit. Arrived on site to inspect dryer not not starting. Upon further inspection found dryer has power and proper voltage but will not start. Gained access to the inside and found the door switch was disconnected. Reconnected door switch and re-tested unit. Unit is operating as designed (photo of dryer operating) No parts installed.
