"Arrived onsite for KOCE500ESS22 with F1E5 error code. Reset at breaker after clearing code. Presented again. Gained access with some difficulty. Customer signed waiver for moving appliances and problems caused by improper installation because the unit had been dropped and the frame was bent and wedged on the bottom, left side. Was able to get the unit free however the electrical supply box and uneven bottom trim as well as tight trim tolerances on all sides made reinstallation impossible. Likely aggravated by the power junction with is mounted above the unit and there is not room to reinstall. Advised customer on installation issues. Used inverter during testing which did not change the the function and also the control, no change. Inverter is receiving 120vac when the cook cycle is on. the magnetron is showing .2-3 ohms of resistance same as the new mag. No wabe guide damage. Door switches and switch alignment showing no signs of contributing problems switches sound healthy and stay engaged when door is shut. Inverter is not the direct problem nor the magnetron or the main control. Unit still throws error, no heat. Advised customer that I would consult with service management on possible solutions given the installation issue and the indeterminate findings. Office to reschedule"

Conducted inspection of the lower harness assembly and found drain pump wire broken at the connector. "Arrived on site to test unit KUIX505ESS2 for slow ice production. Upon arrival customer stated unit produces very thin ice cubes that melt quickly. Verified condition, found small amount of thin, partially melted ice in the bin. Unit was producing an ice sheet at time of arrival. Measured compressor amp draw at 2.85 amps, within range but indicative of low efficiency. Entered service mode and ran manual diagnostics water level sensor filled properly, recirculation pump engaged and drained as designed. When compressor engaged, observed no frost pattern development after 35 minutes of operation. Allowed unit to continue running for an additional 5 minutes; only a minimal frost pattern appeared on the evaporator plate. Documented condition and submitted photos and findings to service thread. Per GC, determined compressor is running inefficiently, resulting in reduced cooling capacity and formation of thin, melting ice sheets. Unit will require sealed system repair. I gained access to the ice bin and found that some ice was stuck together. I removed ground wire preheated to five hundred degrees temperature reached without tripping breaker. I took amp draw only oven on it was 14.57. With all burners on high and oven on it was 40.11. I rewired the ground wire back on and preheated to five hundred degrees temperature reached without tripping breaker. I checked polarity and voltage, and all readings are correct. The product is working as its designed no parts used. I recommend client to contact the gfci breaker company for information on correct gfci breaker for the range. Arrived onsite for dryer with same issue. I found the black wire on the terminal block loose causing a poor connection and tripping the gfci breaker. I installed the new 279320 terminal block and ran the unit. Unit now runs and doesn't trip the breaker. Call complete.

Once I had the unit disassembled and the gearcase exposed, I found oil had leaked from the gearcase and was on the clutch, causing it to slip and not be able to spin out the clothing properly. I advised the customer of my findings and am ordering the gearcase and will return with all prescreened parts. I scheduled return service for Thursday, 10/16/25. "Arrived on site to test unit MVW6230HW3 for drawer sliding out. Upon arrival customer stated the detergent drawer will pop out intermittently during the spin cycle. Inspected drawer assembly and found extremely loose fitment allowing the drawer to slide freely with minimal resistance. Further inspection revealed the dispenser housing was bowed outward, preventing proper drawer retention and eliminating tension. Replaced dispenser housing (W11624934) and tested operation. Verified proper alignment and audible click when closing drawer; tension now holds drawer securely during operation. Customer verified functionality and approved repair. Unit is now functioning as designed, no leaks detected, job complete."

Tested the unit, and it is operating as designed; however, I found the lights around the selection keys missing (photo). "Arrived on site to inspect ice machine KUIX335HPS00 not draining. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they performed a cleaning cycle on the unit, and afterward, the unit failed to make ice, and the bin was full of water that they had to remove. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and found the components are operating as designed except for the external drain pump not draining the water from the bin. When I went to pull the unit out, the external drain pump came on and removed the water. I retested and got the same results, but I moved the external drain pump, and it came on. "Arrived on site for WRX988SIBM01 refrigerator freezer not cooling properly. Upon arrival, ran diagnostics but no error codes were found. Inspected unit and observed temp of 13 degrees in the freezer. Noticed a large amount of debris underneath the unit which has been there 10 years without ever being cleaned. Cleaned out bottom of unit, temp had already started going down below 10 degrees. No leaks observed, job complete."

Per previous techs diagnosis and techlines recommendations (21062303), I removed and replaced the main control, and the unit completed its downloading and rebooting successfully. I verified that the customer had the Kitchenaid App downloaded on their phone, and the unit connected to Wi-Fi through the app. After verifying, I tested the unit, and it is operating as designed. I recommended that the customer monitor the unit and if it fails again to call it in for service, at which time the returning tech will have to call the manufacturer to update the file and report their findings. "Arrived onsite for WTW8127LC2, fouhd unit had great water pressure and all valves worked but it was throwing low flow error f8e1. Found after long testing that the unit was siphoning off the water on account of the drain being inserted nearly 2 feet into the standpipe. Corrected the drain hose to prevent siphoning. All else checks good. Unit is now operating as designed. No parts."

"Arrived on site to inspect Maytag washer model MVW7230HW2 for a complaint of clothes occasionally remaining wet at the end of the cycle. Customer stated the issue occurs randomly, with some loads completing normally. Ran diagnostics and found no stored error codes. All components, including motor, pump and shiffer mechanism, operated correctly during testing. Suspension rods were in good condition, and inspection of the gearcase area showed no signs of oil leakage. The slider and clutch assembly were functioning properly, and the unit completed the diagnostic cycle with proper agitation and spin. Customer reported routinely filling the drum to about three-quarters capacity. Explained that loads exceeding 50 percent of basket volume can prevent the washer from achieving high-speed spin, leaving clothes damp at the end of the cycle. Advised the customer to limit load size to 4050 percent of capacity for optimal spin performance and to monitor results. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator WRS315SDHM12 ice maker not making ice. Upon further inspection, I found ice in the bin, and the customer advised that it's from last week. They advised that the ice maker makes ics intermittently. I tested temps in the FC=21 degrees and RC=50 degrees. I tested temps in the damper vent and found 41 degrees when it should be much colder air coming through. I gained access to the evaporator and found a partial frost pattern. Based on the issues with the ice maker not making ice, temps in the unit and my findings with the evzp frost pattern, I am ordering a sealed system repair consisting of the compressor, UV dye drier, access valve, evap fan motor, CNOTE-R600, CNOTE-COPPER CAP TUBE, and CNOTE-2 HOUR JOB. Following the tech sheet, I tested the control at the J12 1 to 4 and found 10VDC, and it should beat at least 12VDC. Removed the connector and retested at the control and found 11VDC. I advised the customer that the new control is defective and will have to order a new one. I am ordering the main control and scheduled return service for 10/21/25. Upon arrival customer stated the unit will intermittently trip the breaker some cycles will complete normally, while others will trip the breaker at random intervals. Engaged a cook cycle and allowed unit to run for approximately 3 minutes with no breaker trip observed. Performed a full inspection of all internal high-voltage components, including capacitor, diode, magnetron, and wiring harness; found no visible damage, arcing, or abnormal heat marks. Individually tested each component and verified all are operating within manufacturer specifications. Determined the intermittent issue is most likely due to a weak or faulty breaker. Advised customer to contact builder to have breaker replaced. Completed electrical checklist and incoming voltage waiver. Contacted Safety to document under case number 21067273.
