I found the ice maker fully operative within test mode 44 and at attempted water dispenser in mode 45, the valves could be heard to actuate, but no water was delivered. Inspection of the fill tube area revealed an ice mass within the nozzle. Ultimately, I found the heater assembly for the fill tube showed an open circuit, allowing the voile to freeze. The unit will require a replacement door. During testing I also noted excessive lower unit noise and sound pads will be required as well. No leaks observed during service. "WDT730HAMZ0 Arrived to inspect rust spots within machine. Upon arrival, I found there were multiple rusty spots in a line, from the upper right to lower-mid of the inner door. The spots appeared to be from dripping, from above the door. Inspection revealed no sources within the machine and further inspection showed the bottom of the lower rack had stains from the origination of the spotting. The customer had some baking pans with rolled edges and due to the construction, water would incur, corrode the inner bare steel and then drip out after the wash when unloading. I advised the customer if my findings. No leaks observed during service."

"WFW560CHW4 Arrived to inspect dispenser issue. Finding diluted fabric softener still within the dispenser drawer from a prior cycle, I inspected and was able to rule the drawer out as the source of the issue. Visual inspection of the valves, lines and water vectoring system within the dispenser housing yielded no results. Further testing of the vectored system by jumpering and actuating both valves simultaneously, revealed the hydro-mechanical part of the system working nearly as designed, with plenty of water entering the softener area (at the front of the distributor) and even excess, the likely cause of the diluted, but non-dispensed softener, making its way through other parts of the dispenser system. I allowed the fill to take place for 10 seconds, which easily filled the softener reservoir and allowed it to continue after fill to siphon and empty itself completely. Digging in deeper, I consulted the operational guide to reference if there is any condition that will cause this model to not actuate the softener dispensing system. Finding the documentation advised the system always dispenses softener in the final rinse cycle I reverted to re-testing the jumpered valves. I found after two minutes, the right (main valve) showed significant loss of flow, presumably from solenoid coil heat up. Subsequent testing also revealed the issue was not limited to valve 1 and valve 2 failed as well, on at least one instance. I found the pre-ordered valve part incorrect. Office to order part. Gain access to the dual valve and when I was removing it it shocked me when no one was pressing the paddle. Tested the valve and found 124vac on the Neutral and .2 vac on L1 and no one pressing the paddle. Tested the out let and it is wired correctly, tested the power connection on the controller and found 124 vac on the neutral side and .21 vac on L1 at the control board. Tested the diodes and they were both good. Called WP techline and they said to replace the compressor harness. Ordered a harness w11661927. No water leaks detected during service. The customer advised that they have had this issue from time to time where water drips into the freezer section and create an ice sheet on the bottom floor and will leak onto the floor. I did confirm the customers complaint and gained access to the evaporator. I found the drip pan hole covered in ice. I steamed out all excess ice and steamed out the drain tube.
