Arrived on site for refrigerator with ice build up at the bottom of the door and the floor of the fc. Gain access to the fc Evaporator and was looking for a clogged drain and it was clear. On further inspection found the moulin at the bottom of the fc was bowed in where the ice build up was. Called WP techline and sent pics to them. They turn it o er to the engineer dept. Informed customer that they will be in touch 5-7 days. No parts were installed

On arrival verified complaint of unit not cooling correctly both sections. Visual inspection found ice maker is functioning and has a full ice bin. RC product temp is 37 set at 37 and FC is 0 set at 0. Advised customer they can adjust temp further for customer satisfaction but the unit is currently cooling correctly. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not washing clothes again. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that after the previous visit, they were able to run two loads before the unit stopped working again. She advised that since then, the unit just stays in a drain. I did confirm the customers complain and ran the unit into diagnostics. I found an F1 E1 (main control failure) and F9 E1 (long drain) error codes. I found the unit was trying to drain even in diagnostics. I checked the pressure hose off the back of the unit and did not find any kinks or abnormality with the pressure hose. I checked resistance through the drain pump and found 21.3 ohms of resistance from the control. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Art SR# 7739616791. He had me check several different items, and we found the shifter from brown to black and white, showing open from the control, but proper resistance at the actuator. He advised that the line split couldve caused the control to get knocked out. He advised to replace the wire harness and control at the same time. We did not receive the Control in time for service today so I rescheduled the customer to 8/2. No parts were installed. ; schdld next appmnt for 8/2 FRI !"

"Arrived on site to inspect unit for not drying clothes. Upon arrival customer stated unit heats but takes multiple loads to dry. Inspected unit found heat cycling on and off as designed found singe marks on heater vent at back of unit showing signs of restricted air flow. Used paper test with vent paper needed to be on 80% of vent holes without vent paper was held by 20% of holes. Showed customer findings, inspected vent at wall found lint within tube, tubing wasnt excessively long or with harsh turns. Customer also stated vent goes to roof and has bird cage and has cleaned lint off the bird cage on roof previously. Recommended customer have air flow looked at due to findings of singe marks, paper test, and excess lint stuck in vent hose. Job complete. NO PARTS USED"

I found condensation built up throughout the freezer section and water in the ice bin and ice maker tray. Removed the water from the bin and tray and tested the ice maker and found the ice maker operating as designed. Contacted maintenance and they arrived at the apartment and provided photos of the issue (photos). It appears the ice maker valve did not close and completely filled the ice maker tray, ice bin and overflowed into the freezer section and froze. I turned the water on at the wall and retested the ice maker and found the water would not shut off once it filled the ice tray. "Arrived on site to inspect washer leaking water from the bottom of the door. Upon further inspection, the tenant advised that the water is coming from the back or underneath the unit. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. While testing, I removed the top panel and inspected for an6 signs of water leaks and found none. The unit completed testing and no leaks were found. I checked the back panel for the unit and found dry water spots/streaks under the vent (photos). Tenant advised they washed a large comforter when it leaked. I advised that washing large loads, such as a comforter, can cause the unit to leak through the air vent at the top of the drum. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent use. Unit is operating as designed, no water leaks observed during service, job completed. No parts installed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator noises. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of the noise which sounded like a vibration noise or the evaporator fan hitting ice. I found the unit in defrost mode. I cycled power to the unit and placed it in diagnostics and tested the FC evap fan/motor. I removed the evap cover and while the fan was on, the unit was quiet. I placed the evap cover back in place and tightened the mounting screws and the unit continued to operate quietly. I advised the customer that some of the mounting screws were not tight and it was causing the cover to vibrate on the evaporator housing. "WED5620HW2 Arrived to install parts. I tested every thermal device and sensor within the machine and found no issues. Further discussion with the customer reveled the unit would shut off with an audible chime, in both timed and automatic loads and there was even steam visible on the glass. Heating and airflow were satisfactory and I elected to install the UI. I found the replacement faulty with a malfunctioning display, but still able to be started and modifiers set. Arrived on site for a dishwasher having power issues. Further inspection install was the issue found that the unit was not leveled. "Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I tapped the system and found it full of refrigerant. I replaced the compressor and dryer. I added an access valve on the new compressor. I attached the aluminum capillary tube to the dryer with a Lokring fitting. I vacuumed the system and charged it with 47 grams of R600A. I tested the unit and all is working as designed. I found the evaporator fan noisy and the customer showed me the FC had frozen water droplets on the ceiling and ice build up around the door. I found the liner not sealed to the chassis and gaps all around it. The gaps will need to be filled with sealant and the fan might need to be replaced. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with water puddling on the upper shelf in the RC and its coming from the air vents. I found multiple issues. There is a gap between the liner and chassis around the FC door. I had to defrost the evaporator cover and styrofoam to remove it. I found the drip tray frozen over because the drain was plugged. I cleared the drain and removed all the ice. I tested components in diagnostics and all passed except the evaporator fan. I had voltage to it and the blade would just shake back and forth. The fan motor will need to be replaced and the liner/chassis sealed around the FC. Ordering WP2315539 evaporator motor & WP482338 adhesive. RS for Fri 8/2/2024. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I replaced the RC door. The door is sealing correctly. I explained to the customer to leave the door closed long enough to allow the door gasket to get cold and settled. The customer also mentioned the refrigerator was making a loud noise at times and when it does it it last for a while. He had a short recording and from the little I could hear it almost sounds like refrigerant flow into the evaporator making the noise. I tested the refrigerator after turning it back on and there were no abnormal noises and the system was working as designed. I explained to the customer how to check for the noise if it happens aagain and he will try and get a better recording and confirm the noise. Call complete. INSTALLED W11023679 DOOR.

"Arrived on site to replace previously diagnosed parts. Replaced suspension (W11419051), control (W11419051) and rotor (W11260238) as precautionary. Tested unit, all components are properly engaging. When arriving found a load from last night, customer is still overloading the unit. Stated to customer that unit can not be loaded more than 40% of the basket or issues will continue to persist. Basket was at 75% when wet. Customer also has concerns over water damage and rust on the cabinet. Advised customer to contact WP or home warranty to see what they can do for them. Unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete."

"Arrived on site to test unit for F8E1 no water error code. Found error code stored, managed to enter diagnostics and run a cycle, all components are properly engaging. Console cap has started to unglue causing issues with the electronics and not being able to select cycles, recommend replacing console cap, UI, and control. After replacement if error code is still appearing recommend also replacing the inlet valve. Ordering parts, no parts installed, rescheduled for 08/02.; ordrng 1 W11460908 (Console cap) and 1 W11460962 (UI)"

"WRT511SZDM02 Arrived on site for unit not cooling well. Upon arrival, RC was warm and FC had excessive amount of frost (picture attached). Inspected gaskets and cabinet and all checks out good. Continued to disassemble evap cover and found supply and return vent to RC blocked with ice. Steamed ice build up and cleared. The bimetal was also in the wrong position. Corrected position to the suction line on the copper. No ice buildup present on the evaporator coil itself. Attempted to enter diagnostics however, the heater will not engage. Replaced W11616408 control. Voltage is now present on the components. Unit is functioning as designed. No water leaks detected at this time."

Arrived on site with 2nd man JK . Removed dryer from top of dryer to gain access to disassemble washer. Test washer. Drain energizes just does not drain. Opened door manually. Drained all water with vacuum. Inspected drain pump and found filter is completely clogged. Cleared debris from filter. Inspected drain pump and is good. Filled tub with water and test drain. Water now drains correctly. Reassembled unit and test running a normal cycle. Unit is operating as designed. Error codes no longer returned. Job complete. No leaving present at this time.

Arrived on site for not draining. Upon arrival test unit. Unit tries to drain but not draining into disposer. Remove drain hose from disposer for inspection. Water drains into bucket correctly. Found that there is a newer disposal installed and plug was not removed. Removed plug and test unit. Unit is now operating as designed. No leaks present at this time. Job complete

Arrived on site for no cool. Compressor attempting to power on making loud noise then shuts off diagnosed a defective compressor ordering a new compressor. ; ordrng 1 W11557425 (Compressor) and 1 Wpw10143759 (Drier) and 1 W11506635 (Access valve)

"Arrived on site to inspect unit for loud thumping and screeching noise coming from unit during normal operation. Upon closer inspection found blower wheel has broken off motor, replaced blower wheel, tested unit, unit is now running as intended. JOB COMPLETE. USED WP694089"

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the inverter failing and compressor being locked up, I removed and replaced the inverter board, compressor, access valve, and UV dye drier. Before installing, I evacuated the system and blew the system out with Nitrogen. Installed the mentioned parts and tested the system with a push/pull test. Vacuumed the system down to -30/0psi. Installed 56g of R600 refrigerant and allowed the system to equalize. Tested the unit and it is beginning to cool as designed. Tested all sealed system connections at the back of the unit with liquid leak detector and found no leaks in the work completed. Recommended the customer allow the unit to cool for at least 24 hours before placing food items inside. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. Arrived on site for a refrigerator with ice build up above freezer cabinet. Further inspection showed ice forming in top of fc liner. Found door gasket had obstruction preventing proper seal but gaskets on both doors were intact. Also found compressor had a 3n1(rco410 hard start) installed on compressor that was drawing 2.45 amps and very hot. Unit is working as designed and instructed customer to keep an eye on temps due to units age and hard start being installed. No parts installed Call complete

"Arrived on site to follow up on refrigerator that had been throwing P0 error, and also making a humming noise. I examined the unit and didn't see the P0 pop, but I traced the humming noise back to the freezer evaporator fan. When fan is running it's surging hard and won't stay on / stay constant. This could be due to DC voltage load issues, and may resolve the PO error as well. Ordering evap fan, control, ice box fan. Called tech line, SR7739602081. No other parts recommended. Return visit set for 8/1.; ordrng 1 W11578030 (Evap Fan) and 1 W10846539 (Icebox fan)"

"Arrived on site to install new basket and any other damaged parts found along the way. Removed basket and replaced, and rechecked suspension. Found no bounce or bends in the suspension, all is good there. Replaced basket and tub ring. Calibrated and adjusted level. Ran unit in high speed spin and showed property manager video of unit with NO abnormal vibrations. Advised to make sure resident is properly loading the machine. Unit working as designed. WSR57R18DM06 Arrived to inspect door closing issue. I found the door would contact the other unit and stop closure from occurring. Installing the leveler legs corrected the position of the unit and the door worked as designed. No water connections to unit.

On site to install previously diagnosed part. Inspected unit and work area. I replaced the control box and plug the unit in. I found the icemaker immediately start going through a harvest and fill at the end. I advise the customer to keep an eye on the unit and a call back if any other issues persist. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. I replaced the stater motor and tested the unit. I still found the basket would not turn. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Nate SR# 7739604347. He had me run several checks on the low-voltage components and low-voltage being sent from the control and re-found all the low-voltage components were good. He advised after several checks to replace the user interface and latch assembly. I replaced both parts and tested the unit again. I still could not get the washer to turn the basket or start a cycle. I called back into whirlpool techline and spoke to Jeremy (same SR#). He had me run through several other checks, and advised that he believe the issue to be with a neutral wire, being pinched, causing it to open up and not allow the machine to work properly. He advised to order the harnesses, and returned with the pressure switch just in case. Ordering parts in the office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to limited parts availability and need for a two hour service. "Arrived on site to inspect unit for not turning on. Upon closer inspection found breaker tripped, flipped breaker unit tripped immediately. Got breaker to stay on started unit unit tripped immediately found all sensors reading correctly however found heating element reading open and significant signs of wear. Informed customer of issues with gfci breakers and ongoing issue with them, will need to return with heating element to rule unit out for cause of nuisance tripping. Rescheduled for 8/2; schdld next appmnt for 8/2 FRI !"

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is not turning off by itself and is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that she did not state that the unit was leaking, but that she ran a load of dishes and that was taking over three hours to complete and advised that that had never happened to her before. I asked the customer which cycle selection that she had been using, and the customer advised that she was not aware of how the cycles worked or what type of cycles she was using. She stated that she thought that she just needed to press the mode selection and to start the cycle. I turned the unit on and found the unit defaulting back to the extended soak cycle. The customer explained that she did not know what that meant. I pulled up these cycle guide in ServiceMatters and showed her the run times of each and every cycle selection. She advised that she did not have that as a part of her owners manual so she was unaware of how long the cycles should take. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any store error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working and operating as designed. I did advise the customer that the issue appeared to be her cycle selections and to use that guide to undefrost and the time frames to expect. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."

Arrived on site to test unit for burners turning on and off when on high. Test unit and all burners for inside turning on and off and the outside of the burners turning on and off when in high. "Arrived on site for refrigerator with no water. On inspection there wad very little I e in the ice bin. The water would dispen for 2 to 3 seconds and stop. Tested the temperature in the rc and it was 42?. I then pulled the filter and found that it was clogged. The water will dispens with out the filter in, I Installed the old filter and the water stopped. The refrigerator Is operating as designed without the filter. No water leaks detected during service and no parts installed."

"Arrived on site for range knob not working. On inspection found the far left know was bent. Adjusted the stem on the manifold and now the knob is operating as designed. Found that the burners were taking to long to ignite, Adjusted the burners to get them to ignite on the 2nd or 3rd spark. They are operating as designed and no gas leak detected during service. No parts installed."

Arrived on site for previous diagnosis parts. Installed the divider on the unit I left the unit 6 inches from the wall to see if it helps keep the refrigerator cool. No water leaks detected during service. W11449545

"Arrived on site to diagnose microwave sparking / popping when in use. I examined the HV system and found a large amount of oil, and resulted in the diode arcing / popping. I replaced the diode and advised on proper use and care to prevent any other HV system issues. Received a Concession - W1BURW1APL1 to cover repair. Unit verified to be heating and working as designed. Parts used - W11256462."
