The new filter was the prefect width but the max height is seven inches for it to fit and the new filter was nine inches. I spoke with SR and relayed the message to the customer that there is nothing else we could do on our end to resolve this issue because the engineers told SR that the filter we originally installed is the correct filter. The customer will take this up with the manufacture if any problems start appearing. Call complete.

Customer stares he had a fan error. During disassembly found ui was incorrectly installed causing a connector to fall out of place. I was able to temporarily repair the connector. Ordering part for return. Upon testing I could hear a rattling noise coming from the fan. Replaced the control board and the fan. Tested the unit and it operated as designed with no errors. WRT518SZFG02 GP arrived on site to inspect ice in freezer section. Upon arrival I inspected the freezer door and found it leaning to the left and a massive air gap on top of the FC door. Adjusted the door and removed the ice and pressed the door shut and the gasket sealed. Also put silicone around frame of RC to prevent leaks. No water connection to the unit.

"Ive done site for a dishwasher that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advise that they had an F8 E4 (float switch open) error code pop up when they went to wash dishes one time. They looked online and found troubleshooting tips online and found water in the float switch housing. She advised that she had completely unplug the unit and removed the waterline connection under in the sink. I checked underneath the dishwasher for any water residue and could not find any. I re-seated all connections and plugged the unit in. I ran the unit through diagnostics and could not get the unit to leak any water. During the operation I opened up the door and found excessive sudsing happening inside of the dishwasher. Did explain to the customer that it is possible that the issue came from her over sudsing inside of the dishwasher, causing it to leak. Found all connections, secure, and no water leaking through another cycle. I advise the customer to switch to a liquid based soap. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Ive been on site for a dryer that has a burning smell. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit did not smell from behind the unit or as soon as you open the door to the dryer, but seem to smell afterward like five minutes later. He just wanted to have the unit checked out as the unit is still working, but he didnt want there to be any kind of fire hazard. I disassembled the unit and checked all wiring and individual components. Could not find any evidence of any burnt wires or failed components. Tested the unit and the unit is working as designed. I did advise the customer what they were potentially smelling is the length of the backside of the heater element housing. I called Whirlpool safety team and spoke to Bianca SR# 7737000950. She advised to make no repair and the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

The customer advised think the issues with the door switch because when they press and hold the switch itself, the unit will dispense ice, but when the door is closed by itself, the unit will not. Did confirm the customers complaint, and found that the cover for the icemaker was not making proper contact with the door switch. Adjusted the cover and added a door bumper on top of the panel. Could not find any issues with the cover itself. I tested the unit several times in the unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."
