The customer advise that Rent-A-Center had given them a loaner dryer and that the dryer was outside on the back patio. I went ahead and took a photo of the model and serial information and found the door switch had been broken causing the issue. I replaced the door switch but was unable to test the unit due to the unit being outside. The customer stated that Rent-A-Center would be coming by tomorrow to return the rental and install the old dryer. Advise the customer that the unit should be working. An operating as designed. "Arrived on site for a range that has no power. Inspected unit and work area. I did confirm the customers complaint upon entry. The customer advised they had just tried to use their oven for the first time and that whole unit turned off and they have not been able to get it turned back on. Ask the customer if they had tried resetting the breaker and advise that they tried checking all the breakers in the garage, but could not find any breakers that I tripped. I walked outside and checked the 240 V breakers and found the range head tripped. Per whirl pools recommendations, they have been advising to replace both the bake and broil elements for repair. Ordering both parts in the office. Will need to contact the customer about a return date due to limited parts availability.; ordrng 1 W10856603 (Broil element) and 1 W11182108 (Bake element)"

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is making abnormal noises during operation. Inspected unit and work area. I did confirm the customers complaint and found what sounded like the evaporator fan hitting ice. I gained access to the evaporator fan area and found ice buildup on the evaporator fan assembly from water that was leaking down from the fill tube. I also found that the evaporator fan retainer and fan blade were damaged. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Adrian SR# 7739689099. He advised that the fix for this is a fill tube extension (WP2174755) and to replace the other damaged parts. Ordering the evaporator fan retainer, grommet, blade, and fill tube extension for repair. Ordering parts in the office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to limited parts availability. ; ordrng 1 W11700295 (Retainer) and 1 WP2169142 (Fan blade) and 1 WP2176759 (Fan grommet) and 1 WP2174755 (Fill tube extension)"

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator. That is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that since the last repair, the unit has not cool at all in the refrigerator section. He advised that he went ahead and defrost the unit completely prior to todays service. I turned the unit on and found the compressor and condenser fan is running but the evaporator fan not running. I gained access to the evaporator fan and found no ice buildup. I ran the unit into diagnostics and attempted to run the evaporator fan test. I found the evaporator fan would not run. I replaced the evaporator fan and tested the unit. I found the unit working and operating as designed. Call complete. WPW10464673."

Inspected lower components and found the actuator shifting arm is not switching cam correctly causing cam to grind. Was able to shift cam by hand. Inspected gearcase and there is no signs of oil leaking. Reinstalled components and test unit. And ran a quick cycle. Unit fills and agitates correctly. Drain unit and drains correctly. Ran a drain and spin cycle and unit operates correctly. Unit seems to have intermittent actuator issues. Need to replace actuator, cam and belt. The customer had proof of delivery paperwork to show that she was still under manufacturer warranty. The customer plugged in and showed me that the dryer was running absent of the coin box being pushed in. And I went ahead and called whirlpool commercial techline and spoke to Joe (no SR#). He advised that we can try to adjust the coin slot timer and that if that did not work, the timer would need to be replaced. He sent me a video of how to adjust the timer. I followed the instructions, but was unable to resolve the timer issue manually. "Arrived on site to inspect microwave not heating properly. Upon further inspection, I tested the microwave using my tester and found it not heating as designed. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F4E9-magnetron over temp. Cleared the code and retested and I found the magnetron cooling fan is not functioning. I gained access to the fan and magnetron and retested and I tested voltage to the fan and found no voltage going to the fan motor from the MW control. I removed and replaced the MW control and retested and got 120V, but still no fan. I inspected the magnetron and tested it and it is good. I am ordering the microwave cooling fan assembly and CNOTE-LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST and scheduled return service for 08/16/24 (KC). Inspected evaporator fan and found the blade spinning freely but still not engaging. Due to fan not engaging, temperature in the FC would not satisfy the ice maker thermistor causing low ice production. Also did not circulate air in the RC causing water line to freeze up and stopping water from reaching the dispenser. Replaced evaporator fan motor (W11559968) and tested unit, fan immediately engaged. Unit is now running as designed. Off callback occurs recommend returning with defrost parts. No leaks detected, job complete."

I removed the drain tube from the rear and found the foam has almost completely collapsed the drain. I used a screwdriver to allow out the drain hole and then added some silicon around the drain tube. This should resolve the draining issue. No parts used. Repair completed.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not starting cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that after the last load, they ran, the unit kept draining and would not allow the customer to turn the unit on. I ran the unit three diagnostics and found an F0 E2 (oversuds) and F9 E1 (long drain) error codes. I went ahead and gained access to the control and blew through the pressure hose. I found something blow out of the pressure hose and reattached the pressure hose onto the control. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found the unit working and operating as designed. I had the customer run a few loads upon my departure and advised the customer that I would contact them back after a couple hours to ensure everything was running smoothly. I called the customer back and she advised that she was able to make it through three wash cycle without any issues. The unit is working and operating as designed. No parts were installed."

The customer stated that before it stopped running, the dryer was getting really hot without the unit being in use as well. Access to the terminal block and found proper voltage and polarity. I gained access to the back of the unit and checked all components. I found the thermal fuse open, the element open, and one of the sides of the element grounding against the heater, housing assembly causing the overheat. I started a test bake at 350 degrees and used a thermocouple to monitor temperature. At the end of pre bake, I temp was reading 378. Ran three cycles and took the average measuring at 330 degrees. Upon further inspection, I found the bin empty and the customer advised that one night they went to bed and the bin was full of ice and the next morning woke up and the bin was empty. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. The unit operated as designed, but it didnt appear to be a frost pattern on the evaporator. I tested the unit in a normal operation and the unit made a good slab of ice and the unit operated as designed. There is no external drain pump on the unit to cause a power surge to the unit. The customer advised that they dont believe that they have done a cleaning cycle on the unit. I recommended they clean the unit and allow it operate afterwards and monitor it through the weekend and call our office to schedule service if it continues to fail.
