Arrived on site to test unit for LR burner getting hot while oven in use. Heated oven to 400 with no issues. Advised customer of vent design located directly underneath LR burner. Had LR burner removed while heating oven. When assembled LR burner found other burners starting to get warm. Advised that with burner base on the heat is dispersing over the inside of cooktop and venting from bases causing them to get warm. Issues is part of normal operation. No parts replaced at this time. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not dispensing, upon initial inspection I found that the unit would not drain. I found that the cause of this was the disposal punch out seal not being removed. I removed the knock out and unit drained as designed. I placed unit into diagnostics to check all functions. Are functions are operating as designed including dispenser. I can conclude that the unit had timed out during its initial drain and did not complete the cycle, leaving the detergent in the dispenser. No parts installed. No water leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is not heating. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised if the unit does heat but that the unit seems to shut off within a minute and a half at various points. They advised that its not happening all the time, but that it is inconsistent with drying the clothes. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working as designed with the cavity light turning on when the moisture sensors were touched in sequence. I ran the unit on a timed dry high heat cycle for 10 minutes and found the unit tumbling and heating as designed. I did inform the customer that the issue that they may be having is with the load sizes and explained that the moisture sensors need to be activated consistently by moisture in order for the auto sensing to work properly. I did advise them that mixed loading, light loads, or bulky loads maybe do better on a timed dry cycle and they may have more consistency with how their clothes dry. I did advise them that this is normal operation and that the unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."

"WSR57R18DM02 Arrived to inspect no cool. I verified the issue and inspected. Finding no dye in any of the sealed system areas I proceeded to remove the unit from the mounting. I discovered the prior installed service port valve stem had failed and there was dye all over the stem and cap. I replaced the stem with another new one and vacuumed the system, able to achieve 280 microns and then recharged. The unit started cooling as expected and no other issues were found. Due to the sealed system replacement, I am warranting this service. No water connections to unit."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit with the door open and the door switched closed and Timed Dry selected. Once the unit turned on, I found the element was not illuminating in the back right corner vent. I disassembled the unit to gain access to the element and removed the element to find the middle metal plate cracked and badly warped and the coil broken. Also found a large amount of lint inside the unit (before photo). I removed and replaced the element and cleaned the unit (after photo) and reassembled. "KRFC704FBS05 Arrived to inspect loss of water and cooling issues. I found the filter head assembly had frozen and during disassembly, thawed in its own with water flow returning. I found the supply line heater in working order and verified via thermography. The heater was not fully wrapped around the supply tube at the base of the housing and I corrected. The customer advised the temperatures had remained the same as prior, having large swings up and then cooling off to normal after some time. I found elevated temperatures within the cabinet area, as prior. I removed and replaced the Orion, HV control and frontal UI. The customer has obtained a temperature logger and will report findings to me in the next several days. No leaks observed during service."

Customer advise that every time they try to pull out the middle rack, the left-hand side seems to fall down. I open the door and found that the metal rack placement clip was left in an open position behind the front side of the tub, causing the slide not to draw out and the rack to come out whenever the rack was pulled out on the left-hand side. I closed the slide stopper and tested the unit. I found the unit working and operating as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect washer leaking water. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit is noisy, loud, and leaks water with the agitator removed. Customer explained what cycles they were using but it wasnt very clear as the explanation of cycles changed each time of explanation. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and Unit operated as designed. I tested several more times and could not get the unit to fail or leak water. I did find the drain hose was approximately 8 inches in the stand pipe and corrected it. Tested the unit in a Normal cycle and the unit operated as designed. I contacted Whirlpool techline and spoke to Chris and advised of the complaint and my findings. I requested assistance in checking recent service pointers and Chris found none. I checked the lower harness connection at the back and found the molex connector was not fully seated and clipped in, so it was making intermittent contact. I corrected this connector and tested. I found the unit is still trying to drain. I disconnected the pressure line at the control and junction, and could not blow through the UPPER SECTION. Lower harness section was fine. I adjusted the line and was able to blow through. Once I reset everything and reconnected, issue persisted and I again couldn't blow through the line when disconnected. "Arrived on site to inspect washer lid not locking properly. Upon further inspection, the customer demonstrated how they have to hold the lid down in order for the lid lock to engage. I placed the unit in diagnostics and manually tested the lid lock and found that it will latch, but it wont unless someone or something is holding the lid down. I gained access to the hinges and control and removed and replaced the lid lock assembly and retested and got the same results. It appears the lid was allowed to open too far back stretching the hinge springs and lose tension. I am ordering the hinges and lid and scheduled return service for 08/09/24 AM call. "Arrived on site or a washing machine that has a broken agitator. Inspected unit and work area. The customer showed me that the top the agitator had broken again, but the bottom part of the agitator was still secured. I found the agitator bolt still in its place, but the agitator top broken off of the lower portion of the agitator. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rich SR# 7739654601. He advised that because the agitator top keeps breaking, the issue would have to be with the customer overloading it for yanking out the clothes that are tangled, causing the agitator to break. I did advise him that the customer has been trying to keep their load sizes to a minimum. He advised at this point, the only thing to do would be to replace the agitator and agitator bolt due to this ongoing issue. He advised to make no further repair to the machine. I replaced the agitator and agitator bolt and tested the unit. I found the unit working and operating as designed. Call complete. WP3951744 and W10772621."

Arrived onsite for a wall oven that seems like its gonna fall out after the last service. I found the oven had jumped the wall screw heads due to the correct trim never being installed on the oven. I gained access to the burner and saw that the ignitor was not glowing at full potential. I installed a new ignitor and the new IA alot brighter then the old ignitor. "Arrived on site to test unit for burn smell and loud noise, tested unit found a loud vibration noise coming from blower wheel, exposed and found chunks of lint and sand accumulated on the blades removed cleared out all lint and tested, noise is now gone, could not detect any burn smell and it is possible that some pet hair got on the heater and burned up, unit is running as designed do to excessive amount of sand in the unit advised customer to shake out the clothes before loading into washer , at this time job complete no parts installed"

"WRF990SLAM02 Arrived on site for unit not entirely cooling. Upon arrival, customer states there is no issue with cooling however the ice maker is still not making ice. Proceeded to inspect fill tube heater and its clear. Visually checked all wires and connectors and all checks good. Proceeded to enter diagnostics to test 57 and ice harvest test passed. Continued to run fill tube test and water is entering into the ice maker. Ice box fan is running cold air as well. Found no errors pertaining to ice maker issue. Power cycled unit and advised customer to monitor unit. If issue persists again, advised to call back warranty company. No water leaks detected at this time. No parts replaced."

"Arrived on site to follow up on washer with no power. Found power going out of filter, but replaced to be sure of no I intermittent short. Following wiring I found control status light was out, but had 120v. Replaced control. I verified light came on, and I had power to console connector. Console still would not power on. Replaced console since verified good voltage going to it. Tested unit and verified all functions working as designed. Unit completed diagnostic cycle and quick wash. "Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not making ice but the RC and FC are not cold enough. I found the FC at 22 degrees and the RC at 42 degrees with then set at -1 and 37 degrees. I found the compressor constantly running and the temps not dropping. I found poor heat on the high side line. I inspected the evaporator and found the frost line stoping at the third loop on the evaporator and the top frosted thru preventing air flow. I found the refrigerant flow spitting. The unit either has a leak or failing compressor. Ordering W11614224 compressor, W11598434 evaporator, W11506635 access valve, WPW10143759 drier, & nitrogen.
