Ran the unit through diagnostics and did verify the damper door opening and closing. And the tests I found the defrost thermostat the issue at fault. Checked all other components and could not get the unit to run in a forced defrost. Gained access to the control and shed resistance through the bimetal and found it open. Did verify proper resistance from the orange wire to the white wire indicating a good circuit through the defrost heater but when checking resistance from the brown (defrost thermostat) wire to the neutral wire, it showed no resistance. I found the unit would not start and there was an audible sizzling sound from the start device. It drew 14 amps and then went into shutdown. I found the windings at 6.7 and 5.4, S to R was 10.5 and out of acceptable range for start device only replacement. The unit will require the compressor, service port and dye drier. I found no signs of refrigerant leaks and the evaporator is unlikely needed. Office to set service for sealed system replacement and schedule two hours. Front left burner was having trouble lighting. Found another company has replaced the burner head, also broke off a screw in the orifice holder. Advised customer that the orifices and burner caps need to be cleaned, and to using any cleaning product that gets liquid in the switches. Cleared orifice and cleaned/scraped burner cap to resolve slow lighting burner. Retested after cleaning orifices and caps and verified all burners are working properly and light easily. Arrived on site for a cooktop that wont adjust the burners down to a low setting. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found the burners higher than normal on a low setting. Checked all offices and found that the offices were correct. Check the regulator and did find that the regulator was proper and its setting. Went to adjust down the burners at the valves and found my clockmakers flat head was too short due to an extra long valve stem. Will need to return with a longer screwdriver to adjust the valve settings.

Arrived onsite for front left burner not on operating correctly. Upon arrival test unit and only outer portion of left. Front element operates. Removed cooktop to inspect element and found middle connector of element is fractured. Need to replace left front element. Office to reschedule

"Arrived on site for an ice machine that is not making ice and is not filling up properly. Inspected unit and works area. Turn the unit into diagnostics and did confirm that the unit is having a hard time filling with water. Remove the filter and found similar poor water float coming into the unit. I went ahead and added a cup of water into the reservoir to make sure that everything else was working properly. Found that when the recirculation pump came on that water was not flowing up to the top of the evaporator plate. The customer advised that they had noticed that several different plastic parts had melted inside of their ice machine. I took a look inside of the ice machine and did verify that there were multiple parts that were melted. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Kurt SR# 7735719319. He had me send him some photos of the unit and did advise that something was definitely wrong. He advised that because we are unable to get water into the system, there is no way of telling whether or not there are any other parts that are affected. He advised to replace all parts that were melted and to bring a recirculation pump and drain pump just in case. The office will need to contact the extended warranty about repairs due to potential ongoing problems and cost of repair. We will need authorization for an inlet water valve, recirculation pump, and all other parts that are ordered for the return trip. Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not dispensing ice or water. Inspected unit and work area. The customers also advised they have temperature concerns within the unit because they are noticing that the upper portions of both refrigerator and freezer are warm and the lower portions are cold. Found the evaporator fan not running. Did confirm the condenser and compressor were running. Gained access to the evaporator and found all connections were good. Temp to do unclip and re-clip the evaporator fan assembly and still had no movement from the evaporator fan. Found the issue with the icemaker dispensing was due to temperature and found the refrigerator water reservoir frozen causing the no water issue. I did advise the customer that it would be most beneficial for them to unplug their unit up until the next visit due to potential issues with a defrost on their evaporator. The customer advised that he does have another working refrigerator and will transfer stuff over until we get the new evaporator fan. Arrived onsite for icemaker not working. Upon arrival test Icemaker and not responding. Need to replace icemaker . Replaced icemaker and unit is operating as designed.

Arrived on site to test range for clicking. Found outer simmer orifices on LF and RF burners were clogged. Cleared restriction and unit is now working as designed.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator, inspected unit and work area. Customers complaint was water leaking. I took temps RC 32? FC 0? customer had a previous company that said it needed a compressor because it was leaking water. Inspected unit and found the drain tube clogged and also found the drip pan in the freezer clogged with dust and dog hair. I also filled external drain pan to check for cracks and found nothing. Little ice build up on evaporator, used my steamer to remove ice.

Arrived on site. Found defective freezer led module per service pointer installed updated led module. Autho S191AQ ; used 1 W11601311 (Led module) from stock

"Arrived on site to test unit for not washing, tested unit found wash motor not engaging, replaced wash motor, tested unit, unit now functioning properly, no leaks detected job complete"

Arrived onsite for SAFTEY leaks gas. Upon arrival inspected unit and is not leaking gas. Customer mentioned that when knobs are turned that the burners are not lighting creating gas to just run. Found cook top with cooking oil spilled all over cooktop and burners. Clean burner heads and electrodes. And all burners operate as designed. Advised to customer to keep a area of burners free of oil and debris because can catch fire and also restrict burners from operating. Contacted Saftey team with findings. Got SR# 7735630243. Job complete

Arrived onsite for a DW with a knob that would bit turn this motor when attempting to chose a cycle. Upon arrival I found that I was able to select a cycle with no issues. I left the unit running and advised the customer to call me if any issues arise like not being able to select cycles again. Cx did not contact me which leads me to believe that the unit is operating as designed. Job complete.

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace previous diagnosed parts. I confirmed the compressor was locked up. I found the system charged and evacuated it. I replaced the compressor, installed a drier and a access valve on the compressor. I vacuumed the system and charged it with 68 grams of R600. I tested the unit and found it working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for a microwave that is not heating properly. I tested the microwave and found the magnetron putting out 1000 watts and working as designed. I went over use and care and using the second level rack with the customer. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a range with the low flames too high. I found the low flame setting a lot higher than simmer on the two large burners. I adjusted the low flame setting and checked the orifices for being clean. The orifices check good. The customer also stated the oven was burning every thing and especially bread and bake goods. I found the oven running 15 degrees hot. I calibrated the oven and its cycling between 345-355 degrees. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for front left burner issues. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found failed front left switch. Replaced infinity switch. Tested unit and unit is functioning properly. Both individual and dual burner is working and is cycling. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to test unit for no cool, tested unit found compressor pulling 7.8 amps and not starting, replaced start device and capacitor, tested, compressor started pulling .7 amps, but noticed evaporator fan not engaging, exposed evaporator found and good frost pattern, fan receiving 120VAC but not starting, customer stated that they have not heard the fan run since day one, replaced fan motor from job 369201, fan engaged, advised customer to put a bottle of water in freezer, when it freezes it will be a good time to load items, unit is now running as designed job complete"

"Arrived on site to repair sealed system due to failed compressor. Pierced system and found 26 psi pressure present. Checked for UV dye and found none. Evacuated system and replaced compressor and dryer. Vacuumed unit and verified proper pressures and vacuum held. Charged to 60g per mfr specs. Tested unit and verified compressor is on and running properly, unit cooling. Call complete."
