Took amperage and found bake element is only pulling 5 amps and broil element is pulling 7 amps. Unit is getting proper voltage at the terminal, only getting 120V at both elements. L1 relay has been shorted on the control. Replaced control (W11707168) and tested, bake element is now pulling 10 amps and broil element is pulling 14 amps. "Arrived on site to diagnose double oven not working properly. Homeowner said the display would black out and oven would go dead, but was unsure if the breaker tripped. I tested the unit and confirmed it pops the breaker, and also has an F9E0 code for miswire. I removed the oven from the wall and checked the junction box. Found neutral wire nut loose and tightened. Ran oven and breaker tripped again. I disconnected the ground and ran. Added lower oven as well. Breaker tripped again with ground disconnected. On several occasions I could not reset the breaker. Advised customer to have the builder replace the breaker since it tripped with ground d/c. If we have to return on this we can bring elements, controls, and weight for 2 hours to make sure cook-off works. At this time work completed until breaker is replaced and oven is run."

The customer advised that the unit makes a banging and tapping sound when they first start up the dryer, but then it will slowly go away within five minutes. They advised they had not had this issue prior and didnt know if something was not hooked up properly. I tested the unit six times with a load of towels and we could not get the issue to replicate. I removed the clothes from the dryer and tested it. Still could not get the unit to act up. I went ahead and disassembled the unit and found all components properly secured and intact. "Arrived on site to inspect washer continues to operate after the cycle is complete. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F0E2-too many suds and F8E1-valve failure. Cleared the codes and continued with testing. The unit operated as designed. I find the 24 hour Fresh Hold/Fresh Spin Cycle LED illuminated telling me it is turned on. I advised the customer of the too many suds issue and that they have the fresh hood turned on, which once the cycle is complete, the unit will periodically spin the clothing inside to keep them fresh for at least 24 hours or until the load is removed. I turned this cycle off for the customer. The customer advised that they have a water softener system and the unit is set to dispense the maximum amount of detergent with each load. I adjusted the setting for the detergent to dispense the minimum amount to keep the unit from producing too many suds. Placed the unit back into diagnostics and tested one more time and the unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. No parts installed."

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven not reaching temp. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit would preheat to 350 as designed, but when they preheat to 500, the unit never would get to temp. I pulled the unit out onto my floor protector and gained access to the elements to test voltage. I found 240V at the outlet, terminal block, and all elements. While testing, I noticed the oven interior light on and the convection fan stopped cycling. I pushed in on the door and the light turned off and the convection fan began to cycle again. I reassembled the unit and focused on the oven door and latch assembly. I tested the door functions (open/close) several times and about 3/4 of the time, the door would close fully by itself and the remaining times I would have to push the door closed. I opened the door fully and it appears that the hinges have been extended too much and the door is sagging. Also found the latch switch is very tight. I am ordering the latch assembly and both hinges and CNOTE-LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST and office to schedule return service. No gas leaks detected during service.; ordrng 1 W11029221 (Door latch assembly) and 1 W11568941 (Left hinge) and 1 W11568813 (Right hinge)"

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that wont drain. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised the unit had been working and then it all of a sudden stopped draining. He did say that he can hear the motor running but it just will not drain out the water. I confirmed the customers complaint and attempted to drain the unit. I found the drain motor buzzing but not draining out the water. I removed the drain hose from the garbage disposal and found an immediate clog in the drain hose and in the garbage disposal, causing the issue. I tried to fish out most of the clog, but ended up having to use my vacuum pump to suck out the rest out of the drain hose. After removing the clog, I attempted to drain what was left in the unit. I found the unit draining as designed. I ran six different testing on filling, recirculating, and draining and found the unit working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."

"Arrived on site for a range that is tripping the breaker. Inspected unit and work area. I did confirm the customers complaint and turn the breaker tripped at the breaker box. I went ahead and turn the breaker back on and get access to the unit. Per whirlpool, they have advised that the issue is with moisture it within the elements, and to do a burn off on the bake and broil elements. I went ahead and removed the ground wire off the back of the unit and ran the unit up to 450?F. I let the unit run for 30 minutes and reattached the ground screw. I ran the unit back up to 450?F without tripping the breaker and did explain to the customer that the burn off will need to be run for at least two more hours to successfully allow this unit to function properly. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."

"Arrived on site for a dryer that sparked and tripped the breaker. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that it had spark at one point, and then seemingly went away but then it completely sparked and tripped the main breaker in their home. I gained access to the terminal block and found one of the wires had grounded against, the back panel causing the issue. I went ahead and replaced the terminal block with the wiring and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete. 279320."

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is not heating. Inspected unit and work area. I tested the unit and confirmed the customers complaint. I checked voltage at the terminal block and found proper voltage and polarity. I gained access to the heating components and found the thermal cut off open. I tested the unit and found the unit heating but found the heater continuing to heat, even when the dryer was turned off. I checked the element to ground and found it was grounding against the heater housing. I replaced the element and tested the unit. I found the unit working and operating as designed. Call complete. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is making a buzzing noise. Inspected unit and work area. The customer showed me a video of the sound, and it seemed like it was making a sound during agitation when it was spinning one direction. I tried to run the unit into diagnostics and run some diagnostic testing. I found a slight grinding noise coming from the cam. I checked the cam and found the top of the cam intact. I went ahead and replaced the cam and actuator and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete. W10721967 and W11481722."
