"Arrived onsite for refrigerator not making ice. On inspection the ice maker housing temperature was 23? the fc was 12? rc was 39?. I tested the Icemaker, it passed the harvest test. It had the E2 error message on test 56,I called for water and it filled the ice tray. On further inspection found the condenser 50% clogged, I cleaned the condenser and the temperature in the icemaker housing dropped to 16? the fc dropped to 1? the rc went to 36?. On further inspection the damper is making a really bad noise in the RC every time you open the door. Could hear that when the evap fan is running, there is excessive vibration noise coming through the cover. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not starting a cycle. Inspected unit and work area. I did confirm the customer complaint and found at the motor would not turn. Around the unit into diagnostics and found an F6 E3 (ACU cannot hear MCU) and F7 E7 (unable to reach target rpm) error codes. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Chris SR# 7739147877. He advised that they have been running into this issue more frequently, and that most of the models just need a lower harness replaced. He advised to just replace the lower harness and to call back if any other issues persist. He did advise not to replace the control as he that does not think that the control is really at fault However, I am ordering the wire harness and stator and also will return with the remaining parts sent with me today. The customer advised that the last few washes they have run, the unit has not finished out the wash cycle and has not gone into rinse. They are having to run another rinse and spin on the unit and still clothes are coming out completely dry. I tested the suspension and found the suspension was still good. I checked the the basket and found the basket wobbling on the driveshaft, indicating a failed hub assembly. I replaced the hub assembly and ran the unit into diagnostics. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. Due to the right RC door gasket being torn, I removed and replaced the gasket and using my heat gun, I heated and shaped the gasket. Checked for air leaks and found none. I recommended the customer leave the right door closed for a few hours to allow the gasket to mold to the chassis and door. The customer advised the freezer (FC) was making a loud rattling noise. I disassembled the Fc section and gained access to the evaporator and found the suction line and cap tub resting on the evap cover and the defrost thermistor was in the incorrect place on the evaporator. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher with no power. Upon further inspection, I attempted to place the unit in diagnostics and it failed to respond. I checked voltage at the junction box and found 65V. I removed the outer door panel and inspected the main control and tested at the control and again found only 65V. I found the L1 to ground was 124V and L1 to neutral was 65V. Checked the breaker and found it to be a standard breaker and was on. Customer advised the light above the sink is on the same circuit and it was on telling me the unit should be getting 124V. I pulled the unit out and tested the outlet and found it good. Checked the lower outlet and it too was good. Ohmed out the power cord and found the neutral side was melted but the cord was testing good. I checked the outlet and found the left side of the plug was blackened and appeared to be slightly melted (photo). I re-wired the unit/cord and plugged it into the lower plug and the unit powered on. I tested the unit and it responded. I put the unit back in its space and reassembled the unit and tested in diagnostics. Unit showed no error codes and is operating as designed. I recommended the customer replace the outlet for safety reasons and when not in use or not home, I recommended they turn the unit off at the breaker, for safety reasons, until they can get the outlet replaced. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. No parts installed."

I installed the compressor W10507884, pre-cooler W11678305, service port W11506635 and dye drier WPW10143759 after evacuating the system. I found oxidized system oil residue on the condenser to heat loop factory connection and corrected via re-brazing, then vacuumed. Achieving 250 microns and then seeing only a bump to 320 after 15 minutes of vacuum and an additional 15 minutes of dwell time, I attributed the rise to the likelihood of significant moisture that had entered the system due to the prior pre-cooler (water submerged portion) failure. Charging with the MFG calculated 5.3 oz, the unit started cooling as designed and had excellent thermography heat signatures throughout the high side of the system. No water connections to unit."

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven/microwave combo unit with microwave light not working. Upon further inspection, I found the microwave interior light not turning on when the door is opened. Using my microwave tester, I tested the microwave for 30 seconds and the light failed to come on while testing. I pulled the unit out and removed and replaced the light and retested. Unit is operating as designed. Once I had the unit back into the wall/cabinets, I retested the unit and it continues to operate as designed. Job completed. W10886919"

"Arrived onsite for water not dispensing. On inspection the ice maker was working, gain access to water reservoir and found it frozen. I used some of the perma gum that was installed last year to seal the side of the rc evap cover where the cold air was leaking out to stop the reservoir from freezing. No water leaks were detected during service and no parts were installed. I used the heat gun to defrost the reservoir to get the water working."
