"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is draining when it feels. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that he may have sold his issue as when he initially installed it, he had the drain hose hooked up to a garden hose that was laying on the ground. he advised that when the unit would fill, the washer would drain out through the garden hose. I did stated that you looked at the installation instructions and saw that he was supposed to raise up drain hose anywhere from 36 inches to 44 inches high and once he did that, the unit has been working ever since. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I found that the customer does have the unit hooked up to a garden hose that runs about 30 feet long. I did explain to the customer that that can cause issues with the slow drain as well as potentially a siphoning condition once the unit stops draining. The customer stated that he is working on his house and that it will be installed with normal installation once the renovation is done but it was still a few months away from being completed. I ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working and operating as designed. I told the customer that the unit is working as its designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."

I gained access to the element and found the element was grounding against the housing. I replaced the element and checked all other components. I found all other components within range and showing that they were working properly. I reassembled the unit and tested the unit. I found the unit working and operating as designed. Arrived onsite for a range with the door not opening. The tenant stated that the door open but it makes a weird pop. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator. That is not dispensing crushed ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does not dispensed crushed ice, but also does not really dispense ice either. They advised that they may get one or two cubes that come out but it will not dispense any further ice. I found that the model number was different than what was originally sent over and checked with claims to make sure that we could get it covered. I was advised that the model information sent over was similar enough that they would update the information with the extended warranty. I checked the impeller on the dispenser motor shaft and found that the impeller was completely stripped, causing the issue. Ordering all parts needed for repair in the office. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is making abnormal sounds during operation. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit makes screeching noises during agitation and spin. He showed me a video of the sound that it makes during operation. I did confirm the customers complaint and ran the unit through a diagnostic cycle. I could not replicate the sound coming from the washer. I cant access underneath and found all parts. Were in good shape. I started wiggling the cam from side to side and found a slight screeching noise coming from the top of the driveshaft. I remove the agitator and found the spanner not completely loose from the drive block retainer, causing the dry block to scrape against the basket when the basket moved from side to side. I tightened the spanner nut down onto the drive block to create a better connection and test of the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. I had the customer run a load of clothes in the washer and we found the unit agitating and spinning as designed with no abnormal noises present. Call complete. No parts were installed."

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is taking a while to get the drum to turn. Inspected unit and works area. The customer advised that she can hear the motor running, but that the drum can take anywhere from a few seconds to 30 seconds to actually start tumbling. I test the dryer and found the drum immediately start turning with no clothes in it. I tested the dryer, holding the door switch and trying to provide some resistance against the drum. I found the belt slipping across the drum, causing the issue. I checked the belt and found that the belt was completely stripped and did not have enough grip to continue to turn the basket. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is making a beeping noise. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit worked great after the last repair for about two weeks and then it made a beeping noise when he went to dispense ice. He advised that it was beeping at him for quite a while, and was flickering lights on the user interface. He stated that it stopped after a few hours and has been working fine over the past few days since he called in. However, he wanted to have it checked because it sounded a lot like it did previously. I tested the ice and water functions and could not get the issue to replicate. I ran the unit through diagnostics and checked all components. I found all components working and operating as designed without replicating the failure. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Joe SR# 7739769439. He had me specifically run back through the DC loads to ensure that there was not a DC short. We ran all fans, lights, ice maker, and damper control without a loss of power. He advised that it could be an electrical supply issue, but he could not fault the machine because all the components were working and operating without causing a failure. He advised that generally speaking, if there was a DC Short within the unit, it would happen every time one specific component was working. He advised to have the customer take a video of what is happening and try to reset power to see if it may be an issue with his electrical supply. He advised to make no repair at this time. "Arrived on site to test unit for error code and draining issue. Upon arrival customer stated unit is flashing F8E4 error code and drain pump is making a strange gurgling sound. Tested unit, found F8E4 overfill switch open and F9E2 drain motor electrical problem errors stored. Activated drain pump and heard the gurgling sound, unit will need a drain pump. When removing drip pan found sudsy water present which activated the overfill switch. Replaced pump and motor assembly (W11545764), tested unit, unit now drains properly. Advised customer on the uses of pods. Advised customer to use liquid soap due to soft water system in the house. Also advised that 1-2 tbsp of soap is all the unit needs. "Arrived on site to diagnose microwave that is throwing F1E5 error for transformer unresponsive. I tested the unit and heard abnormal sounds coming from the mag area / wave guide. I pulled the top wave guide cover and checked it out with a borescope camera. I found some abnormal spots that look almost like peeling plastic, and don't look like they are just discoloration. Called tech line, SR7739767733 who said to proceed with a mag / inverter repair, and to see if we can get a closer picture or scrape any of the spots. Ordering wave guide cover, inverter and mag. "Arrived on site to diagnose washer that was making a loud noise when spinning. I tested the unit on high speed spin and could not duplicate any noise. Customer showed me video of a loud screech noise that was alternating frequency up and down repeatedly. Noise doesnt sound like gearcase noise at all. I disassembled the bottom end and found nothing abnormal in the rotor, stator and slider. I did notice the unit is on a leak tray with ridges, and if the basket gets too low it can sit on those ridges and can make some noise if the shield is pressed into the rotor. I lifted the unit a bit and ran again on delicates. Could not get noise to happen. Advised customer to run a few cycles to allow some time for parts to break in, and follow up with additional video if noise returns. If it does we need to return with rotor, stator, gearcase and slider. No parts used since issue could not be duplicated. Call completed."

Arrived onsite for unit needing compressor replaced. Spoke to customer and unit has not cooled from day one. On arrival found compressor hot to the touch. Found oil in drip pan. Tapped system and found flat. Opened freezer compartment and had burnt smell. Disassembled compartment and found black oil on evaporator and drip pan. Ran nitrogen through system and found leak where suction line and cap tube enter cabinet. Called tech line for assistance. 7739754818. Took pics. Tech submitted for review. "Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling. I found both compartments at room temp and the compressor not running and super hot. I heard the start device trip. I used a test start device and the compressor starts then drips to 6 amps and stays there causing the overload to trip. The compressor will need to be replaced. "Arrived onsite to replace previously diagnosed parts. Replaced Cabinet, suspension, and basket. I tested the unit and found the actuator grinding. I replaced the actuator. The cam seems to be floating in and out of gears smoothly with no resistance. I tested in manual loads and noticed when it would agitate or spin the lights would dim on the control. Sometimes the control would shut off. I tested the motor and other loads finding them all in range. I changed the control and tested again. All is working as designed at time of repair. "WTW7600XW2 Arrived to install parts. Upon inspection, I found the previously installed suspension from a different service company were aftermarket and did not have the correct vibration dampening design. I removed and replaced and tested further. I could hear the bearing assembly grumbling under high speed operation and replaced. The rotor and wash plate splines were fully intact and the parts were not required. The issues were resolved and all further testing showed the machine fully intact. No leaks observed during service."

"Arrived onsite for range tripping the breaker after burn off was performed. I replaced both elements bake and broil. After replacing I removed the ground and ran it to 500 degrees bake. After reaching temp I opened the door and reconnected ground. I ran another bake cycle for 500 degrees with ground attached. I set a timer for 2 hours and explained to customer to let it run for set time before turning it off. Unit is operating as designed at this time. Call complete. "WRT311FZDZ02 Arrived to install part. I removed and replaced the air tower, ensuring correct placement and sealing. The customer will monitor and contact if the temperature issues do not resolve. No water connections to unit."

Arrived onsite for previous diagnosis parts. On inspection found the error F9E1 flashing on the display. I flipped the unit up and found the drain pump ohmed out at .01 ohms. Installed new drain pump. Then I installed the new control board and tested the harness. The drain pump was a OL testing from the harness. Installed new harness and the drain pump is working now. Ran unit in diagnostic cycle and it is showing F9E1 again. On further inspection found the water sensor tube had air and water trapped in it. Blew through the hose and it cleared it out now it is working. W11399437 W11513246 W11643701

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed part. Inspected unit and work area. I found damage done to the bottom side of the cabinet. I went ahead and replaced the cabinet and reassembled the unit. I ran the unit through a diagnostic cycle and found the unit working and operating as designed. Call complete. "Arrived on site to test unit for no water. Upon arrival customer stated unit fills up but does not wash. Does not hear the spray arms moving. Ran diagnostic cycle, water filled but wash motor did not engage. Replaced wash motor assembly (W11613479) and tested unit, all components are now properly engaging and unit is running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete."

"On site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. I replaced the hidden, bake element and royal element. I went to replace the convection fan and found the fan broken in the box and missing the fan blade and nut. I ran the unit up to 450?F with the grounds crew detached to burn off the excess moisture on the elements. I reattach the ground screw and brown the unit back up to 450? and found the unit not trip the breaker. I did advise the customer to leave the oven running for at least another hour and a half to two hours to ensure the moisture was completely removed from the elements. I am re-ordering the convection fan and will return with the fan blade and nut just in case. The office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to limited parts availability.
