"Arrived onsite for unit leaking and making a pulsing sound. On arrival unit was idle and not making noise. Customer stated noise has stopped. Ran unit with a load of towels and unit began to leak during fill underneath unit where front panel meets cabinet near center screw. Disassembled and followed water trail. Found unit leaking from dispenser area and clamp and hose were saturated. It is unclear where the source of the leak is due to unit having to be disassembled for inspection. Also found unit slightly tilted forward which could lead to overflow and leak from dispenser. Tried leveling legs but secure nut is stuck and cant be adjusted. The combination of potential faults (Dispenser, hose and legs) there is not a clear fix. Will discuss with office on how to proceed as a good repair can not be guaranteed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not dispensing detergent. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised theyve been using the loading go feature for 15 to 20 washes and the detergent will not dispense from the load and go dispenser. I tested the unit in diagnostics and found the detergent motor Dropping in water as designed. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Jake SR# 7739804342. He had me run a few tests and advised that because the dispenser motor was working in diagnostics, the issue would have to be with the programming and to replace the control. Arrived on site for a dryer that is not drying clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does tumble and heat but that its taking them to 2 to 3 cycles in order to get the clothes dry. I tested the unit and confirmed the unit was tumbling and heating. I checked the vents and found the vent up in the attic was completely crunched creating an airflow restriction and was leading to the same vent cap as another vent. I was able to remove the vent hose from the vent box on the floor of the attic and found proper airflow. I did advise the customer that the issue appeared to be with her venting within the home and that they will need to get their vents fixed in order for the dryer to work properly. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed.

On arrival verified complaint of slow ice. Ran diag cycle and found all components are functioning but recirc pump is slow to pump water. I can also feel excess heat coming from the machine. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher turning off unexpectedly. Upon further inspection, the tenant advised the unit would start then randomly turn off on its own. When I attempted to place the unit in diagnostics, I found the unit with no power. I checked the breaker and found it on. I inspected the power source under the unit and found it good. When I checked under the sink for the plug/outlet, I found the unit is plugged in behind itself. I pulled the unit out and found the power cord not fully plugged into the outlet (photo). It appears that when the unit was installed, it got shoved into its space and hit the plug causing it to bend downward and pull out of the outlet. I plugged the cord in fully and placed the unit back in its space and checked the power cord and found the tub is resting against the plug. I was able to slightly pull the unit out and mount it to the cabinets and take some of the pressure off of the cord. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Unit is operating as designed. If the unit continues to fail, the apartment maintenance will need to relocate the outlet lower to keep it from making contact with the unit tub. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. No parts installed."

Arrived onsite for dryer making screeching noise. I found a slight noise present when running dryer. I moved the dryer out a bit and noise went away. I found the vent to be touching the dryer which is what was causing the noise due to vibration. I pulled the dryer out enough to where the noise was gone and the door can still shut. Arrived onsite for range completely dead. I found the breaker to be tripped. I tested the oven in bake setting it to 500 degrees. Oven reached about 200 degrees and I turned on the front right burner. When I turned on the burner the breaker tripped. I reset the breaker and turned on all burners. I couldn't get the breaker to trip again. I put the oven in a bake cycle while running all burners and the breaker still did not trip. The customer has been using the oven for 2 months. At this time I cannot get the breaker to trip again. I advised the customer to have the breaker changed and to reach out to us again if breaker continues to trip. Call complete. No parts installed.

"Arrived on site to inspect microwave blower not working. Upon further inspection, I tested the vent fan blower and found it does not function in either selection. I removed the unit from the wall and removed the cover to gain access to the vent blower and found the motor was bad. I removed and replaced he blower motor assembly and retested. Unit is operating as designed. Once I had the unit back in its space on the wall, I retested and it continues to operate as designed. Job completed. No one available to sign for receipt. W11441128"

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator with ice build up on freezer back wall. Upon further inspection, I found a large amount of frost/ice built up on the freezer (FC) evap cover (photo). I was able to gain access to the evaporator by removing some of the ice from the cover. Once I gained access to the evaporator, I found a large amount of ice/frost on the evap. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the defrost thermistor and found it open. I tested the defrost element and it immediately began to heat and melt the ice/frost. Using my steamer, I removed the ice from the defrost thermistor and found it out of place and tested it. I found it out of kohms range showing its too warm inside which is why the unit continues to cool creating the ice formations. I removed and the thermistor and removed most of the remaining ice and reassembled. I left the unit unplugged to allow it to defrost and advised property maintenance to check unit and plug it in with 24 hours and had customer sign the waiver of damages when defrosting refrigerator. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Found root cause of failure was blown out springy suspension. Returned to shop to grab suspension rods. Found gearcase rusted / half fuses to the basket. Had to hammer gearcase excessively to get it removed. Replaced gearcase, suspension, lid, and cleaned off rusted surfaces. Removed debris from drain pump. Tested unit and verified proper spin action and all working as designed. Repair completed. Parts used - W11393685, W11259006, W11130359."

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer making noise when spinning. On arrival customer advised that the noise happens when the unit agitates. Tested unit and confirmed that when unit is reversing direction on agitation, you can hear a consistent clicking sound coming from the lower end. Sound goes with whiplash / clacking. Sound is consistent and happens with direct drive units often. I called tech line for recommendations for quieting the noise down. SR7739795714. Tech line wanted me to replace the slider. Slider was replaced and did not improve noise. Tech line said before deeming it an acceptable / normal noise, to also replace the gearcase, rotor and stator. Ordering all requested parts. Return visit set for 9/3. Parts used - W10734521. ; ordrng 1 W11195971 (Stator) and 1 W11260238 (Rotor) and 1 W11550891 (Agitator)"

Arrived on site for refrigerator not making ice. On arrival found bucket half full. Found not temp failures and ice maker had harvested soon as I had arrived and I found it fill as designed. Called techline Sr#7739792455 and reported finding. Was instructed by techline to bump fc temp to coldest setting and instructed customer to keep an eye on rc items to prevent any potential freezing. Per techline unit is working as designed and recommended no further repairs. Call complete

"Arrived on site for a walk in the game that is not spinning out close. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit seems to not stop filling and that she is having to shut off the water at the wall in order to get the unit to stop filling with water. I ran it through diagnostics and found an F8 E3 (overflow condition) error code. I ran the unit through a diagnostic test and found that after the unit was supposed to stop filling, the cold water valve would not shut off, even when removing the connector from the cold water valve. I went ahead and replace the control and tested the unit. I still found the same issue. Ordering the inlet valve and rescheduled the customer to 8/30. W11627413. ; ordrng 1 W11513255 (Valve)"

Arrived onsite for previous diagnosis parts from the previous tech. I installed the pump and it did not fix the issue. Tested the harness and there was no voltage to the harness. I gain access to the harness and found it pinched I installed a new harness and control board into the unit. Tested the unit and it was making a slab of ice when I left. The unit is operating as design and found 1 water leak at the inlet hose and fixed. W11542867 W11034363 W11126268

Arrived on site for washer with lid not shutting properly. On arrival confirmed failure and found the hinges in lid had failed and were causin lid to only shut halfway. Replaced lid w11513252 and tested. Found it shutting as designed. Call complete

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is leaking water into the dryer when the dryer is not in use. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised they had to shut the water off at the wall in order to get the dryer to stop spraying water into the drum. They advised that when they shut it off, their son cranked on it too hard and broke the valve at the wall. I did confirm the customers complaint. I plugged the unit in and check the voltage going to the inlet valve. I found no voltage being supplied. I went ahead and replaced the inlet valve and tested the unit. I found the unit working, tumbling, and heating as designed. I was unable to test the steam function due to lack of water supply. Call complete.W11216837."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working,. Upon further inspection, I found the ice bin with a large block of ice inside and the ice maker tray not in position. I removed and replaced the ice maker and tested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed. W11700250"

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator not cooling and the lights not working. I found the deli drawer under the UI full of water causing the 12VDC circuit to short out and cause the issue. I found no signs of a defrost issue at this time. There was no water in the bottom of the RC or FC. I found the drip pan good and straight. I found the deli harness good and as soon as I disconnected the harness from the door the lights in the refrigerator came on. I power cycled the unit and all components started working as designed. The refrigerator was getting to temp. I found the ice door leaking and signs where water leaked down filling the drip tray in the door and this could have been the issue. The customer stated there were no cooling issues prior and this all happened at once. The ice door, deli door, and deli UI will all need to be replaced. I also showed the customer the condenser was fill of lint and it would need to be blown out. The customer stated he would clean the condenser. Arrived onsite for chest freezer not cooling. On inspection the unit was cooling the customer said it was it and miss if it was cooling or not. He said it happen after the few days of the 110?. I installed the new inverter on to the unit. Plugged unit in and it was cooling when I left. W11598145

Arrived onsite for range tripping the breaker. I replaced the old bake and broil elements with newer ones and ran a bake cycle with ground off to 500. Once temp was reached I re attached the ground and ran it for 500 again. I advised the customer to keep it running for 2 hours before turning off. Unit is operating as designed at time of service.
