"MEDB765FW0 Arrived to inspect drying issue. I found the unit was operating normally and thermistors were within range. Incoming voltage was also within normal expected limits and I found no other issues with the unit. Testing with the vent on, the unit set to high heat with time dry and K-type probe in the air plenum intake, the unit had vent in temperatures of 138 to 231 with a :43 time to heat and and 1:38 time to cool down. Vent off, the cycling temperatures were 125 to 185 and :48 time to heat and :28 time to cool down. The measurements were all averages of three complete heating cycles with an already warmed chassis. These measurements indicate a venting system that is showing signs of above normal restriction and will cause severely extended drying times. I advised the customer that they will need to have the venting cleaned to correct the issue and that the unit was operating normally.

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop burner getting too hot. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that theyre having issues with all of the burners not heating properly. They explained that they can have them on the low setting and food will burn or get too hot. I had my customer sign a waiver of damages from removing glass cooktop and proceeded to remove the cooktop. I found where liquid had leaked underneath the knobs and gotten onto the switches. I recommended the customer replace all four switches, I removed and replaced all four switches and tested. Unit is operating as designed. After reassembling the unit and placing it back in the countertop, I retested and it continues to operate as designed."

Arrived on site for front load washing machine leaking. I inspected the unit and work area. I fill the tub with water and inspected the water lines I found no leaks. I went to drain the unit and found the standpipe backing up and overflowing. I spoke to the customer about what is actually leaking water. I advised to have inspected the stand pipe

Arrived on site to diagnose a washer that is not starting cycles. Found control locked in drain only mode. Reset controls and advised customer that if lid is open and there is water in the unit it will go into that failure mode. No further repairs needed and no leaks were found at time of service.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that leaked water all over the floor. Inspected unit and work area. Ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Ran the units for an auto test and everything ran as designed until the unit came to the drain portion of the cycle. Found The drain pipe at the wall backing up and potentially causing an issue with overflowing out of the standpipe. I test the unit and manual diagnostics filling up the basket a third of the way up the basket and attempting to drain. I could not replicate the overflow out of the pipe but did hear some sounds as if the drain pipe itself had cleared itself of the debris. I ran the unit through multiple tasks and checked underneath the washer. Found no evidence of any water residue or leaking from underneath the washer. I did advise the customer that because her drain pipe is back flowing, the most likely issue is that her pipe is clogged and that this may happen again unless they get the clog removed. The customer is going to attempt to run Drano through that pipe but I did advise her that if that does not work, they will need to fix their draining issue. Call complete."

Arrived on site to install previous diagnosed part. I gained access to and replaced the freezer evaporator harness. I cleared out any ice build up from the freezer evaporator. I tested the unit and found it working as designed. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling in both sections. Upon arrival inspected unit. Internal fans are running and lights are on. Checked compressor compartment. Monitored compressor and found cold to the touch after hours of being plugged in. Compressor is pulling.2 amps-.9 amps but then shuts down after about two min. Called SW for confirmation. SW advised to remove control cover and monitor LED. LED signified error. According to manufacturers recommendations the PCB board would need to be replaced and if that does not correct the issue the compressor would need to be replaced. Reported to customer that multiple issues may be present.

Arrived on site to test unit for light not working. Test unit and found just burned out light bulb. Customer said whirlpool told hi it was under warranty and that they would send someone out to replace it. Replaced light bulb test unit and unit rsdg good job complete.

"Arrived onsite for a washer displaying a long drain error. I checked stored error codes and found an F9E1, F5E2, & F1E2. I ran diagnostics and found nothing wrong with the MCU or the door lock. I found the drain pump working as designed but not turning off after the tub was drained. I found the elbow between the tub and air trap plugged with debris. I cleaned the elbow and tested the machine. The unit is working as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Rob SR# 7735481087. He advised that if the current repair did not work, the issue would have to be with the customer not diluting here fabric softener with water and therefore not allowing proper siphoning out of the drawer. He advised to make no further repairs and to advise to the customer that his was normal operation. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for a cooktop that is giving a gas smell when the right front burner is used. I checked the orifice sizes per the previous techs notes. The main orifice is a 99 and it calls for a 105 which would be larger. Both the left and right burners have good flames that are already at the burner grates and have a small amount of yellow tipping. I explained to the customer that going to a larger orifice would create a larger flame and more yellow tipping. The customer agreed to keep the orifices it has in the unit. I tested for gas leaks with my electronic gas leak detector and showed the customer that as soon as the burner lites the detector stops going off. I went over turning the know slowly to allow the burner to light and help prevent the initial gas smell. The unit is working as designed. There were no gas leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

I advise the customer they would need to replace motor drive motor and belt for repair but did indicate that we would order the broken belt switch and the blower wheel just in case. I did indicate that the blower wheel and/or the broken belt switch would be additional charges, if needed. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is getting above 50 degrees in the RC and the FC fluxuates up to 5 degrees. I tested the thermistors and fans from the UI and all checked good. I tested the RC evaporator thermistor at the main control and it read 11.64kohms. I tested the RC thermistor at the main control and it read 8.85kohms. I found the coil frosted up causing the reading on the RC thermistor and causing the poor cooling in the RC. The unit had frost on the suction line back to the compressor. I found two spots on the back of the unit under the main control and towards the center sweating and water running down the back from this. I called techline and spoke with Scott. He stated this can happen when the line is completely frosted up and that we need to address the defrost issue and this will stop. He stated to also install the drain pan kit from service pointer W11092686. Ordering W11457241 drain pan kit. Office to RS after PR follows up with customer.; ordrng 1 W11457241 (Drain pan)

Arrived on site for range with upper burners needing flame adjustment. Upon arrival confirmed issue but found cause of failure was incorrect/mismatched orfices being installed(example: back middle burner has a high altitude orfice installed.); ordrng 1 W10810387 (Lp kit)

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working properly leaking from underneath. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the ice maker is making blocks of ice and water is coming out from the bottom of the unit. I inspected the ice maker and found the ice bin damaged and the ice bin door gasket not sealing properly. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the ice maker and it harvested as designed and filled as designed as well. I found where the ice tray is badly stressed from harvesting and recommended replacing it. Also found the right RC door gasket torn and allowing warm air to leak inside the RC section. I pulled the unit out and found a small amount of water under the unit. I removed the drain tube and found it clogged causing the drain tube to back fill with water during defrost and leaking out at the top onto the floor. I removed the debris and re-installed it and sealed the gap in the gasket with silicone. I am ordering the ice bin door and right RC door gasket and will return with all prescreened parts. I scheduled return service. No water leaks observed at the end of service."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator water dispenser not working. Upon further inspection, I tested the dispenser and it dispensed water. Retested several times and it continued to operate as designed each time. Pulled the unit out and checked the supply hose and there were no signs of kinks. Removed the crisper drawers and found no leaks in the connections to the reservoir. I did find the right RC door gasket torn.. I am ordering the right RC door gasket and CNOTE-SCHEDULE AFTER 2PM-PREFER LAST CALL and scheduled return service for 01/20/23 PM-prefer last call (KC). No water leaks observed during service.; ordrng 1 W10830162 (Right RC door gasket) and 1 CNOTE (SCHEDULE AFTER 2PM-PREFER LAST CALL)"

"KDTM604KPS1 Arrived to inspect draining issue and code. I found the unit had F9E1 stored and cleaned for testing. I found and removed construction debris that had lodged within the outlet side of the drain tube, at the disposal. Further testing revealed the circulation pump had been damaged as well and was noisy. I removed and inspected the pump, but could not correct the issue. The unit will require a new sump assy. No leaks observed during service.; ordrng 1 W11416362 (Sump Assy)"
