On arrival verified complaint of unit still throwing f3e3 error. Verified code is in diag system. Code is for inlet thermistor open or shorted. Verified at j14 1-3 not open or shorted and at 74 degrees it was approx 47k ohms. Ran vent test with meter and got yellow with vent attached and green with it off. Ran cycle and when error popped up we had 151 temp and 9.8 k ohms sensor is not shorted nor open. Sensor is correct and still throwing error codes. Spoke to TL Joe 7739843683 was advised thermistor and control can cause it. As well as a bad vent which we had a yellow test earlier. Was advised to run it with no vent attached . Devised customer to run a cycle with vent disconnected. Cleared fault codes. If fault comes back with vent disconnected call for service. Job complete no parts installed

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop burners not igniting properly. Upon further inspection, I tested all burners and found all burners taking too long to ignite and the back middle burner flame does not go all the way around the burner head. I adjusted all of the burner heads and found debris inside the back middle burner that was prohibiting the gas to travel around the head to ignite. I cleaned the burner head and adjusted it and adjusted all flame heights and retested and unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed. No parts installed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer control panel not working. Upon further inspection, I found the unit control panel not responding and unit is plugged in. Opened the unit door and found the interior light not coming on. Tested voltage at the outlet and found none. I found the GFCI breaker tripped and the test light flashing (photo). Cycled power to the unit and retested voltage at the outlet and got 247V. Tested voltage at the terminal block and got 247V and it is wired correctly. Gained access to the control panel encoder and main control and found the diagnostics LED flashing as designed. When I checked the encoder harness at the main control, I found the molex connector not fulling plugged into the control. Once I had the connector fully plugged in, I tested the unit and it is operating as designed. No lint or water observed during service, job completed. No parts installed."

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven tripping breaker. Upon further inspection, I removed the unit from the wall and gained access to the ground wire and disconnected the ground from the chassis. Placed the unit in diagnostics and found error code F6E4-UI/ACU status mismatched. Cleared the codes and attempted a burnout on Bale at 500 degrees. Approximately 3 minutes into burnout, the unit tripped the breaker. Cycled power and attempted burnout again and unit shut down and displayed F6E4 error code. Cycled power and removed and replaced both upper and lower ovens ACUs and performed another burnout on the upper oven. The burnout completed and then performed burnout for the lower oven and it too completed. Reconnected the ground wire and tested the upper and lower ovens and both are operating as designed. Notified the builder of the repairs and tests completed and that the 30amp breaker needs to be replaced with a 40amp breaker. Job completed. No one available to sign for receipt. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is still making chiming noises. Inspected unit and work area. The customer showed me a few videos of what was happening and it seemed like the unit was losing power for less than half a second before powering back on. I ran the unit into diagnostics and could not get the unit to fault on any diagnostic testing. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rob SR# 7739769439. He had me run through various checks through diagnostics and we could not get the unit to fail. he advised for me to check to see if the unit was plugged into a dedicated circuit, and I found the unit was tied to an outlet that had a gas range on it. He advised that that was going to be the issue completely as the refrigerator needs to be on a dedicated circuit. He advised that with the unit being on an outlet that has a gas range, there would be a shared voltage and white noise, causing issues with the control to drop voltage. He advised to make no repairs at this time and inform the customer that they will need to put their refrigerator on a dedicated circuit prior to any further repairs. I attempted to remove the locked display and could not remove it. I replaced the latch assembly And tested the unit. I found that the lid lock light was no longer on but the unit would not start anything. I replaced the strike and test the unit again. I found the same issue. I tilted the washer back and found water at the bottom of the tub. I ran the unit into diagnostics and found an F9 E1 error code. Ill check underneath the washer and did not find any broken wires. Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator with gaps in gaskets. Upon further inspection I found that there were gaps around the corners of the FC and RC gaskets allowing air migration (photos) I shaped and formed the gaskets and sealed gaps on a few problem areas I found on the mullion. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not making ice. Upon further inspection, I checked the temperature RC 37 FC -2. I checked the water supply. The ice maker is not receiving water nor the refrigerator dispensing water. I removed the filter and found that the filter is preventing the water from flowing. I can conclude that the filter is the cause of the unit not producing ice and it needs to be replaced. The customer advised that a few items had frost and that items close to the vents would sometimes freeze. The sensors are testing ok. I informed the customer that items cannot be placed near the vents as they can freeze. The refrigerator is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service. No parts installed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator making noise. Upon further inspection, I found that the fill tube for the ice maker had evidence of spilling over. I ran a tested with the ice maker and confirmed this was the problem and that water was collecting around the fan and freezer causing it to make noise. "Arrived on site to test unit for not draining properly. Upon arrival customer stated on every cycle she would have to put it on heavy duty in order for it to drain properly. Tested unit found unit draining improperly due to water being backed up in the pipe, reaching the drain hose and creating a siphon back into the unit. "Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of the noise which was a loud squealing noise during spin cycle. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Unit operated as designed and I could not duplicate the noise. I tilted the unit back and removed the pulley shield and inspected the components underneath. I found the belt had some slack in it and found on the motor pulley where the belt had been slipping. I removed and replaced the belt and calibrated the unit. Retested in diagnostics and the unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. W11239857"

"WRS315SNHM06 Arrived to inspect cooling issue. Upon arrival, the RC was 37, FC 7. There was a significant amount of evaporator fan noise from the machine and inspection revealed the fan was mis-molded and off balance. Returning tech will replace the fan and motor upon return. The FC door switch was broken and will require replacement. I sealed large gapped areas and both outer, lower door corners and the RC right side cabinet fold over was gapped, being able to see the inside of the outer wall, which was sealed as well. "Arrived on site to inspect wall oven/microwave combo unit microwave door damaged. Upon further inspection, the customer pointed out the area of the damage which looked like the inner plastic on the outer door glass was cracked. I find it to be the epoxy that is used in between the outer door glass and the inner plastic of the outer door glass (photo). I was able to remove the debris (photo). Unit is operating as designed. I made recommendations for use and care. Job completed. No parts installed."

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven getting too hot. Upon further inspection, the customer advised they were cooking with the oven at 425 degrees for approximately 30 minutes and their infant child touched the oven door glass and burned themselves; luckily with no injuries. Customer turned the oven on Baker wt 425 degrees and I monitored the unit and tested surface temps at the door, door frame, handle, burner knobs and skirt. I found the outer door glass at the upper left corner area where the child touched was reading approximately 161 degrees, the skirt around the knobs was 188 degrees (furthest left knob) and the handle was 115 degrees on the left side. Comparing these temp readings to the chart listed in the tech manual page 7, these temps are below the manufacturers approved maximum temps (outer door glass=172, skirt=197, handle=167). I contacted techline and spoke to Brandon and advised of the complaint and my findings and Brandon provided the tech manual #W11544031 to compare the readings. Brandon advised that the temps fall below the maximum recommended temps and provided SR#7739831041. I advised the customer of my findings and comparisons to the manufacturer maximum temp readings. I provided the customer with the SR number and recommended they contact the manufacturer to dispute. Unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed. No parts installed."

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the compressor failure, I evacuated the system then cleared the system with nitrogen. I removed and replaced the compressor, UV dye drier and access valve and vacuumed the system down to -30/0psi. Verified no visible leaks in the system and installed 64g of R600 refrigerant and tested the unit. Unit is beginning to cool and operating as designed.
