I flipped the unit up and found that the bolt that held the rotor on had backed out. I then noticed that there was oil all over the sides of the unit. I popped the rotor off and found oil in the rotor. I installed a new gearcase,rotor,clutch and slider. Ran calibrated the unit and ran diagnostics cycle again with out any issues. No water leaks were detected during service."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they had some off-balance issues with a particular load and that she has not been able to replicate it since she first called in about it. She just wanted to know if it was normal for the machine to do this, because after the load couldnt finish, she advised that the machine would not start a new cycle. I did advise the customer that the machine can act a little funky after a balance load, and that the best way to fix that is by unplugging the unit for a four minute prior to trying to start any other load. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test, and the unit ran as designed. I checked the suspension and the hub assembly and found everything showing that they were good. Did advise the customer against bulkier items such as pillows, rugs, blankets, etc. as they will have more issues with off-balance loads. The unit is working and operating as designed. "GSS25GSHBCSS Arrived to inspect no ice and overflowing. I found signs within the ice bin, auger drive assembly and within the ice chute of overflow of water and ice. Having the valve and ice maker recently replaced, I determined the fill tube had a ridge at the lower end, causing water too pool, freeze and then fall into the fill chute, plugging and overflowing the system. I removed the excessive plastic from the fill tube and manually tested the valve, verifying the issue was resolved. After departing, the customer called and advised the ice dispenser auger had stopped turning and due to prior ice removed from the connector, the pins will need to be adjusted upon return. Arrived onsite for light bulb not working. On inspection with the bulb out I was getting 124 vac with the light in was 0 vac. On further inspection I pulled the control board out and saw the 5 volt regulator was split in half. Installed new control board and the light is working now.

Arrived on site for a dryer that has a broken sensor. Inspected unit and work area. The customer showed me the sensor that had broken off and advised that they used to be a wire that was hanging down but she has since not been able to find it. I gained access to the back panel and found the wire dangling behind the rear bulkhead. I replaced the sensor and reattach the wiring and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for long wash times. Upon arrival ran diagnostics and got error code F8-E1 long fill. Ran valve test and found water dispensing to very slowly. Removed supply hose to inspect pressure. Pressure is correct. Found valve completely blocked with sand. Uploaded picture on SD. Need to replace valve. Replaced valve w11513255. Test unit and is operating as designed. No leaks present at this time. Job complete

"KRFC704FBS05 Arrived to inspect cooling issues. I found the unit had higher than expected 6 hour averages, but the overall averages and low temp were as expected. Further inspection revealed the right RC door would get caught in the trim above the unit, preventing it from fully closing. Thermography revealed the RC defrost working as designed and I corrected the mounting of all drawers, as they were not fully seated in their respective slides. No leaks observed during service."

I found the vent filter at the bottom of the unit is dirty and not allowing good airflow (photo). I tested the units blower and found the damper opening and closing when on and off. Also found a large amount of airflow was coming out of the front top vent as well. I removed the vent cover in the cabinets above and found the vent not properly sealed at the damper (photo). I sealed the gapping with foil tape (photo) and re#installed the vent cover and sealed it as well. Retested and unit is operating as designed. Customer cleaned the vent filter and was allowing it to air dry before re-installing it. Job completed."

I removed and replaced the compressor, service port and dye drier, after confirming the service stub on the compressor was oily and the source of refrigerant loss. Arrived onsite for a dryer that is making a noise when in use. Upon arrival i ran the unit with clothes in the drum and could not duplicate the noise. The unit customer the advised me that the unit will show a message that says check vent. I ran a airflow test and found that it showed poor airflow.I checked the lint tarp exhaust tube and the duct the leads to the outside and found them all clear. I rerouted the exhaust tube so that there was only 2 curves in the tube and tested the unit and found no improvement.i contacted techline and spoke to Curt and told him of my findings and it was returned that the exhaust tube may be the issue and the the customer should change to a hard aluminum tube and a wide mouth vent for the out side to help with airflow and that would take care of the issue sr#7738500551.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is still making clicking noises and has low water in her washer and she is running cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the low water issue happened specifically on the extra power settings. Around the units are an auto test and did confirm the clanking noise the customer was experiencing, but did advise the customer that sound is normal operation with these units. I also explained and showed the customer service pointer (W11499341) explaining the extra power button, and what it does. Per the service pointer, it explains that the unit starts out with low water with higher concentration of soap to provide a higher level of mechanical friction and concentrated cleaning chemical to break down stains like wine or dirt. I did explain that water does gradually enter the unit throughout the wash cycle, and that this is normal operation. The customer was unaware of how the extra power button worked and I did explain that if theyre wanting higher water levels in their wash, they can remove the extra power button, and the unit will operate as designed. I also went over load types in conjunction with water level settings and did advise the customer that the bulky items wash cycle and heavy duty wash cycles will automatically give the customer higher water levels just due to the programming. The unit is working an operating as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer with moisture/condensation on control panel. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the problem isnt condensation on the panel, but the unit is loud and not heating and has never been used. I tested the unit and immediately after pressing the start button, the unit was very loud. I stopped testing and disassembled the unit and using my jumper wire, I jumped the door switch and retested. I found the noise was coming from the motor and after approximately 20-30 seconds of being on, the unit shut down and would not turn back on. I found the unit only getting 125V at the wall outlet (photo). I found the unit is wired correctly at the terminal block (photo) and also found the interior light was blown out (photo). I advised the customer that I would have to order parts and come back. They want the unit replaced and I advised the customer that they would have to go to their builder to get it replaced as the manufacturer will not replace the unit, but will replace parts. I am ordering the motor, bulb, socket, and blower wheel and will return with all prescreened parts and scheduled return service for 02/27/24. Returning tech to replace the motor, socket, bulb and main control and blower wheel if needed when replacing the motor. Arrived onsite for a range with the lower oven not heating. I tested the lower oven in a bake cycle and it displays feature not available. I power cycled the range and it works as designed. I explained to the customer that is a glitch in the software and if it does this ever again to power cycle it. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for dryer not heating. On inspection found 248 vac at the terminal block, gain access to the back of the unit found the cutoff was OL. Installed a new cutoff and tested unit. The unit is heating now, informed the customer that the air is very minimal and to have the ductwork clean out. Customer is going to HD to buy the cleaning kit."

Arrived on site to test unit for no power. Found breaker was tripped. Turned breaker back on test unit by turning all burners on at the same time and unit worked correctly job complete.

"Arrived on site to test unit for not drying, customer stated clothes are still wet after cycle is complete and when they start another cycle itll shut off after a few minutes. Tested unit, found all components engaging, blower wheel has no restrictions, thermal cutoff and thermal fuse showed good resistance. Passed vent test. Replaced thermistor as precautionary, stated to customer that moisture strips tend to cut cycles short if it detects dry clothes in front of dryer. Advised customer to used a timed dry cycle to bypass moisture strips. Unit is running as designed, job complete."

Arrived onsite for a washer with no power. Upon arrival I checked the check the control and found that the led light was on and blinking but the ui was not responsive. I replaced the ui and found no change I then replaced the control and found that the ui cam to life and I tested the unit and found unit operating as designed

Adjusted flame height to recommended. Unit now working as designed. Job complete.

Found one of the rollers had semi broken, causing the unit to make unusual wobbling sounds. I replaced the rollers and idler pulley from the dryer repair kit and tested the unit.
