"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator making s lot of noise. Upon further inspection, I found that the ice maker fill tube had been spilling down on the back side and surrounding the fan. Because of this, the fan was hitting the ice formation and causing a lot of noise. I corrected the issue by installing a piece of tubing to prevent the water from spilling over the sides of the inlet chute. I gained access to to the evaporator fan and cleared all the ice that had been forming. There is no damage to the evaporator fan. I reassembled the unit and tested the ice maker and it is now filling properly without spilling. No water leaks observed at the end of service"

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not drying properly and pausing the cycle automatically. Upon further inspection I tested the dryer and observed the burner igniting however only stays lit for about 5 seconds. I gained access to to the valves and found that they were measuring out of range according to spec sheet. Upon checking the door switch, I found that the button was a little loose and found that the most plausible cause for the dryer pausing it self, is the door switch loosing contact. I ran an airflow test and found that the dryer has poor air flow. I advised the customer of my findings. I am ordering the door switch and coils. WPW10328463 W11551763. I am scheduling for 11/6. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit was draining however it was draining slow and she had to hit cancel multiple times to get all the water drained. I gained access to the drain pump and found that a piece of debris was becoming lodged in the impeller. I removed the debris and found that part of the impeller was damaged. I replaced the drain pump and tested the dishwasher. The dishwasher is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service. W10876537"

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator making loud noises. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit into service mode to test the compressor and fans to check of this was the source of the noise. I ran the compressor and fans and they are all operating as designed with no loud or unusual sounds. I did not observe any error codes. I did not observe the diffuser producing any unusual sounds. I checked the ice maker and fill operations to make sure it was not spilling water which could cause ice to gather around the fan. Ice maker and fill are both operating as designed without issue. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer leaking during steam cycle. Upon further inspection, I found that the spray nozzle was shooting a strait jet of water instead of an even spray. I checked the valve and nozzle and found that the nozzle was not tight enough causing the water to shoot straight at the door. I attempted to tighten the nozzle however still was not sitting tight enough I replaced the valve and made sure the nozzle was properly tightened. "KRFF577KPS02 Arrived to inspect ice production issues. The RC was 33 and the FC -2 and there was significant moisture at the top of the FC door gasket. Ice maker housing, taken from within the door venting, was 3. E5 was stored in memory, and I suspected water fill issues. Inspecting the ice maker housing, I found significant gaps at the housing to back RC wall area. The fill tube heater was also not fully contacting the housing and I corrected both. All further testing showed the system operational. I changed the defrost mode and set the vertical mullion heat to full time, to combat the FC door moisture. The customer will contact us if the are further issues. No leaks observed during service."

"WTW8127LW1 Arrived to inspect lid locked. I found the lid was locked and at plug-in, the machine would continuously run the drain pump and it was in flood stage mode, with several inches of water standing. The pump clearly had debris within it, causing a very loud noise. I was able to remove water and inspect the pump, finding the debris had moved, but the pump should be replaced. The gear case had flung a significant amount of lubricant within the confines of the cabinet and the teeth on the rotor were marred in several places. I removed the wash plate which was severely stuck, and applied anti-seize to ensure future job completion. Office to order drain pump. gear case, slider and rotor. Service mode also had F9E1 and F0E7 and I cleared for further testing. I found all other functions present. The customer advised the ice maker had recently stopped and I inspected. There were no stored error codes and ice cubes within the mold, were just chip-sized. I found the heater was not correctly placed on the fill tube and I corrected. Testing revealed water flow restored and all other functions were present. No leaks observed during service."

There was very little cooling in a ten minute span and I inspected the high side via thermography. I gained access to the main control and harness and found a wire on the harness slightly loose and corrected. Retested several more times with control and harness exposed and unit is operating as designed. Reassembled the unit and retested several more times and it continued to operate as designed. Demonstrated for the builder as well. Job completed. No parts installed."

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven/microwave combo unit error codes. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the oven intermittently heats and then shows an error code. I found the unit is not connected to WiFi and they did not have the app downloaded on there phone. I placed the unit in diagnostics and found error codes F6E4-main control failure and F8E0-blower motor speed too slow. I cleared the codes and assisted the customer in connecting to the WiFi after they downloaded the Whirlpool app on their phone. Once we had the WiFi connected, we attempted to control the unit from the customers phone and received a message that the control panel is locked even when it was not locked. Due to this issue and the main control error, I cycled power off at the breaker and removed and replaced the control panel and cycled power back on for approximately one minute. Cycled power off and removed and replaced the main control and cycled power back on. Reconnected the WiFi and retested from the customers phone and found it continues to give the message that the control panel is locked. I provided the customer with the Whirlpool WiFi Connection Team phone number and recommended they contact the WiFi to assist with the app issues. Unit is operating as designed, job completed. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator leveling feet issues. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that when they go to open the unit doors, the entire unit rolls forward. I advised the customer that there is nothing that I can do to stop it, but they can place a wedge in front of the front wheels to keep it from rolling. I showed the customer a photo of the parts breakdown and how the unit is leveled by the wheels and there is not a leveling foot that has the rubber cover that grips the floor. Customer then said they are missing a shelf in the fresh foods section and two shelves in the freezer section. I found the fresh foods section has the 3 shelves and two drawer shelves like its supposed to have. I advised that the open space for another shelf is supposed to be three so they can adjust the shelving based off the height of their food items. The freezer is missing the drawer shelf and there is an open slot for them to adjust the shelving as well. I contacted the office (SC) and explained the situation and was advised to have the customer contact Whirlpool to get another shelf as we are unable to get the shelf covered under warranty. I recommended the customer contact Whirlpool and see if they would send them another freezer shelf. The unit is operating as designed and no water leaks observed during service, job completed. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. Per previous techs diagnosis, I removed and replaced the UI control and tested. Immediately, the display showed error code F2E2-UI miscommunication. When I removed the outer door panel from the inner door panel, I found water inside the two panels and running down the inside of the inner panel (photo). I found the customer has their dish strainer sitting on the countertop above the unit and when they put their wet dishes in the strainer the water is running down the countertop and onto the dishwasher control panel and leaking inside the doors and onto the UI control and main control. I removed the main control and found water on the backside of the control and running down into the harness connections (photo). I advised the office (Claims Dept) of my findings and was advised to reorder the parts that are needed. I explained to the customer why the unit continues to fail as its due to them placing the wet dishes in the strainer above the dishwasher and the water from the wet dishes is running/leaking into the unit and getting onto the controls and shorting them out. I recommended the customer place a towel in between the strainer and dishwasher or move the strainer to the other side of the counter to prevent this issue from reoccurring. I am ordering the main control, control panel, and UI and scheduled return service for 11/06/24. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I found both compartments room temp and the evap and condenser fans operating. I pulled the unit out to test the compressor and customer advised that they keep hearing a clicking noise. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the compressor and heard the start device make the clicking noise the customer described. Using my tester start device, I retested the compressor and found it locked up. I advised the customer the unit would need a new compressor and would have to order parts. I am ordering the compressor, access valve, UV dye drier, CNOTE-2HR JOB, CNOTE-COPPER CAP TUBE, NITROGEN, R600. Unit was left unplugged for safety and no water leaks observed during service. Arrived onsite for elements turning off around 2 minutes. Upon arrival I tested all 4 elements. I found the elements to be operating as designed. Customer stated she was worried because she saw the elements stop glowing red and then go back to glowing again. I explained to the customer that the elements cycle and even though it may not appear red it is still heating it is just cycling. Unit is operating g as designed at time of service. Call complete. No parts installed.
