"KBSD708MSS00 Arrived to inspect ice issues. Discussion with the customer revealed the unit will periodically trip the breaker, coinciding with ice maker failure, approximately 10 times since installation of the machine. FC temperature -5 and RC 34. I found signs of excessive air movement within the ice chute, and the door was erratic, momentarily activating the dispenser motor, even if the button was depressed only long enough to activate the ice door and the sound occurred up to five seconds later. The door cycled open and closed several times while I was observing the machine, within the first 30 minutes of the service. There were no stored error codes within service mode and the unit went into defrost at the beginning of testing. Further testing showed that anytime the ice dispenser would be operated the dispenser motor could be heard twitching at around 5-10 seconds later and most every time a single cube would fall down and lodge within the ice chute door area. I suspect the lodged cube was causing the door to loose its seal and create the subsequent frost/vapor trails within the ice chute and under the ice bin. Due to the nature of the issue, the main control and UI will need to be replaced simultaneously and the ice level sensor should be as well. Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Replaced vent and optical sensor per previous tech. After replacing the two parts I tested the unit and the unit was still not running. I further diagnosed and found that the motor had burned itself out due to the filter assembly mesh being completely jammed inside. Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cooling properly. Upon initial inspection found the refrigerator has been unplugged for several days. I asked the customer if there had been any water coming from the unit after leaving it unplugged. He informed me that there was no water. I verified this by checking the condenser pan and observed no water in the pan. I plugged in the unit and the compressor started and fan operating fine however when I tested the compressor a second time I checked amps and read 9.5 and compressor did not start and tripped the overload. The compressor is becoming locked and will need to be replaced. I am ordering sealed system parts. "WRS325SDHZ05 Arrived to replace sealed system. I found the pre-cooler had several nicks in the protective polymer coating, allowing moisture to corrode the inner steel tubing and removed and replaced it. I replaced the compressor, service port and dye drier and vacuumed. I found it took an excessively long duration to vacuum down to just 350 microns and at the resting period, the microns increased by around 10 per minute. This denoted moisture still within the system and I pressurized to leak test, and then flush the system fully. Finding no pressure-detectable leaks, I re-vacuumed to 290 microns and monitored. Seeing no loss of vacuum, I charged with the MFG calculated refrigerant charge and tested. Operational test good, no water connections to unit."

Arrived onsite for IM leaking water. On inspection I pulled the unit out and gain access to the drain pump. I turn unit on and let drain a couple of times and found no leaks. I pulled the drain pump out and there was water marks under the drain and on both sides. The evidence showed that the drain pump had leaked sometime in the past. Installed a new drain pump and turn unit back on. It drain 3 times and still no leak but it did make a ice slab during testing. The Ice Machine is operating as design and no water leak was detected during service. W11539855

"Arrived on site for no ice. Found ice slab stuck on evaporator plate,removed grid cutter and dispenser,placed ice slab in container,found calcium build up on plate,sanded plate down to remove build up,reinstalled dispenser ran diagnostics water flowered over evaporator plate,let plate get cold,placed ice slab on plate and let it run,ran hot gas valve ice slab slid down to grid cutter."

Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not making ice. Upon further inspection tested the ice maker. The ice maker is calling for water and I can hear the valve energizing but no water coming in. I found that the inlet tube is frozen from a weeping valve. I replaced the valve and defrosted the frozen inlet tube. I retested the ice maker and the unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service. W11455388

"JJW3430LL01 Arrived to inspect heating issue. I found the unit would reach 377 and claim preheat. The unit cooled to 305 and then heated to 339. I induced an offset and found it nearing the correct temperature. I verified the sensor match the service mode temperature reading and ruled that out. During inspection, I found the two left modifier buttons were not fully illuminated and both were dark at the upper right corners, requiring UI replacement. The left door has lift during close and will need to be addressed upon return. "Arrived on site for a range tripping the breaker. Upon arrival found the breaker had been flipped. Replaced part#s w11696067 , w11182108, and w10856603 per Whirlpool. Checked the polarity its correct Neutral and ground (008.0)L1 Neutral (124.2) L2 Neutral (125.) L1L2 (249). Tested broil element to 500 then to bake . Breaker tripped when switched to bake went out to flip breaker but breaker wouldnt stay on recommend client to wait for the temperature to drop before trying to flip again . Explained to client on how to run the range to keep from tripping breaker."

Arrived onsite for MW not working correctly. On inspection the grill come on when using the grill feature but was not coming on when the air fry was selected. Called WP Tech line and found that the air fry cycle the grill on and off during cooking. Customer had me ask about the paint not matching on the scratches in the cavity of the unit. The MW is operating as design and no parts were installed during service.Sr7739841723

Arrived onsite for compactor not working correctly. On inspection found that the door will not open every time you step on the peddle. I pulled the door off and I re sprung the spring on the unit. I then pulled the 2 screws fc the rubber piece that covers the kick plate and reinstalled the pedal. Now the door opens every time you step on it. No parts installed during service.

"Arrived onsite for oven clock not working. On inspection found that when the oven is at temperature and the door is opened it makes the display go out. The unit as to be rebooted when it happens. Installed a new UI and now the oven can be opened and the display does not wig out to the heat. Heated oven to 350? and open the door several times trying to make the display go blank, never happened during service. The oven is operating as design. W11600370"

"WRS555SIHZ06 Arrived to inspect cooling issue. The customer advised there were temperature fluctuations and no ice. They specified ice cream was soft to runny. The FC was 24 and RC 41. The evaporator had visible frost at the lower intake area, but overall airflow was not affected enough to stop cooling. Inspection of the evaporator revealed frost only from the capillary tube entry into the chamber, through the first several rungs of the bottom of the evaporator, being the lower side entry point from the down tube portion. This denoted the likelihood of a severe mis-charge or loss of refrigerant. I found the high side discharge at the compressor leaking and was able to correct. I vacuumed and tested and the issue was resolved. Charging the unit showed normal operation restored. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived on-site for oven door closing correctly. On inspection found that the right side of the unit frame is bent from the unit be dropped. The door will not close all the way and hot air escape from the gap. It is Hard to Maintain the heat with the air gap. All the customer cakes are lopsided to the right when she bakes. Called and talked to WP tech line and sent pictures of the damage to them. Sr7739845754. No parts installed during service.

"Arrived onsite for unit not draining. Found unit filled to the top with water. Customer tried running a clean cycle and unit failed. Manually drained water out. Inspected and found lower wire harness broken and had been spliced several times by previous repair company. Replaced whole harness. Also adjusted legs for better clearance. Tested and unit is now functioning properly. Advised customer on proper load size, load should not exceed last hole punch out in the basket, which is slightly above the halfway point.Job complete. "Arrived onsite for refrigerator with no power. On inspection found the unit had no power. Tested the power cable and it was 125 vac. Found that the power switch did not have power leaving the switch. Tested the switch and the N side had continuity to it, Ordering a switch. The customer complaint was there was no lights in the unit. On further inspection the left door switch arm broke. Ordering the screws and the washer to rebuild the switch arm. "Arrived on site to inspect unit for error code f8e4. Upon, closer inspection found soap scum and small amount of water on float switch. Cleaned and dried float off. Unit still throwing code. Replaced float switch, tested unit, unit is running as intended. No leaks present at this time. Found excessive amounts of suds at end of test cycle. Found customer using pods. Informed customer switching soap would help cut down on excessive bubbles and suds spilling to float switch. Job complete. USED W11545764"

"Arrived on site to inspect unit for no power and door being locked after cleaning cycle. Upon closer inspection found panel shorted and no longer functional, replaced console.
