"Arrived onsite to inspect refrigerator not cooling in the RC. I entered the unit into diagnostics and tested the bimetal and in diagnostics it read as open. I resistance tested the bimetal from the control and it read as open as well. I bypassed the bimetal and tested the defrost heater and it turned on and was operating as designed. I found a lot of frost on the evaporator freezer compartment. Bimetal needs to be replaced. I used my steamer to defrost the ice block in the freezer. R/R bimetal and tested unit. They found that the dryer vent popped off, there was black scorching inside of the unit, and there was an abnormal smell when the unit ran. I found that the smell and excess heat came from the unit directly ventilating into the laundry room. I fixed the dryer vent and test the unit to find it working as designed. Upon further inspection I found the burn spots to just be the darkened metal from where the heater comes into the unit. I informed the customer of my findings and in the use of a customer instruct. I placed the unit in diagnostics and cleared the code and tested the drain pump in test 4. The drain pump failed to drain the water and sounded as if it was struggling to drain. I disassembled the front panel and using my vacuum, I removed the water from the unit and removed the drain filter to find a large amount of debris in the filter (photo). I advised the customer of my findings and showed them the debris. I cleaned the filter and reassembled the unit and tested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator with a bad gasket and the freezer compartment light not working. Upon further inspection I found the top of the FC gasket not sealing. I found that the door was sinking down to much, so I put washers on the bottom mounting screws. This allowed the door to lean forward more and make proper contact. I inspected the gasket and found it all sealing now. I found a significant amount of frost build up in the unit, and it was covering the door switch. Due to this the switches could not move and was preventing the light from turning on. I cleared the ice out of the FC and rails. The unit is now as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for fridge having slow ice production and not being cold enough. I preformed a temp test and found the fridge only getting down to 25 degrees after 10 minuets. I found the wiring harness at the door intact. I tested the defrost circuit and found the defrost heater coming on. I found no frost build up on the evaporator. I gained access to the compressor and found the compressor hot to the touch and the condenser room temperature. I found the condenser fan running and the condenser clean. "Arrived on site to test unit for not cooling in both compartments. Found FC was barely cool and RC evap was frosted. No signs of frost on RC evap cover. Removed RC evap cover but noticed majority of ice was on cap tube area exiting linear. Defrosted ice and heard a hissing sound and found cap tube leaking entering evap. Applied bubble solution and verified. Kept defrosting and bubble solution worked its way down into cabinet. Saw bubbling from cabinet and applied more solution into cabinet. Found leak within interior of cabinet. While applying bubble solution cap tube broke of from linear, pushed evap back into proper place and cap tube broke off of evap as well. Barely handled Tubing and was extremely brittle. Tubing was obviously corrupted beyond repair prior to current diagnosis. Needing to call Techline. Office to reschedule. ; O-emld tckt"
