I asked the customer about the icemaker and she did not know that it had been in an off position. She was unaware of how to turn off and on the icemaker. Turn the unit on and found the icemaker immediately start harvesting ice and filling as designed. Did advise the customer to keep an eye on the unit and a call back if any other issues persist but assume the issue was with the icemaker havent been turned off. Call complete.

"WFE320M0JS3 Arrived to inspect no power on control. I verified incoming voltages correct and inspected the control and wiring. The was a burnt trace in the control board and I removed and replaced. Testing after control replacement revealed the unit operating as designed. Upon arrival, the unit was sitting in the middle of the living area and had to be moved to access power. The home is nearly complete and I did not know if there was some additional flooring work or otherwise within the kitchen area and I moved the unit back to where it was originally sitting upon my arrival."

I manually tested the spin cycle and immediately the unit began to make a loud screeching noise. I tilted the unit back and found a small amount of gearcase oil on the shield and some on the cam and belt. I removed and replaced the gearcase, cam, belt and calibrated the unit. Tested in diagnostics and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Found a sock inside of the clean out filter causing the issue draining. Remove the obstruction and tested the unit again. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling well in either compartment to replace sealed system parts. I found the refrigerator cooling some. I put the three way valve in the home position and checked the equalized pressures finding them at 44 psi. The system didnt appear to have a leak and just the compressor was not pumping refrigerant properly. I replaced the compressor installing an access valve on it and installed a UV drier. I vacuumed the system and charged it with 6 ozs of R134A. I tested the unit and had good pressures and found the unit working as designed. Call complete.

After adjusting the burner cup position, the issue was fully resolved and the unit would ignite and operate as designed. The front left was slow to ignite and burner cup adjustment corrected its issues. Both compound burners ignited within the first (90%) spark, or at minimum, by the second spark from the igniter. No gas leaks detected during service."

Arrived onsite for a range to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I replaced the UI and tested in convection bake getting the same results with the convection fan not running. I called techline and spoke with Leon SR# 7735838689. Leon checked with engineering and found out that the convection fan will not turn on until the oven reaches set point temperature. He also confirmed that the convection fan will cycle on and off in all cycles. I set the unit to 225 degrees in convection bake and the fan did turn on when set point was reached. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a washer that is leaking . On arrival I found the tub completely full of water and the customer had turned the water off. The washer had over filled and run over the tub. I could not get the unit to go into diagnostics but when I plugged the unit in it drained. It stopped draining and still had about 2 inches of water in the basket. When I started to remove the control panel it finished draining. I texted the pressure sensor and it read 22.2 ohms. I checked the pressure sensor harness and connection at the control and both were good. I made sure the air chamber was clear and the pressure hose was good. I did find some debris in the hose at the tub. I ran a speed wash cycle and the unit works as designed. I did find a lot of suds in the machine when running the cycle and went over detergent use with the customer. I also instructed the customer to unplug the unit if it starts happening again to determine if its a valve issue or control issue. At this time the unit works as designed and there were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that has issues with the agitator. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised they have been told that the end it would be covered as a courtesy. Checked entitlement and found a parts and concession code (W167DQ0APL1). The customer showed me that her wash plate had broken in two different spots and also complained about the unit not draining. I went ahead and replaced the wash plate. Tested the unit and found water in the system. When the unit attempted to drain, could hear the drain pump running but no water flow coming out of the drain. Checked underneath the unit and found drillbits inside of the drain pump area. Remove the obstructions and tested the unit again. Found the drain pump not able to drain out water efficiently. The unit will need a new drain pump for repair. ordrng 1 W11396717 (Drain pump)"

The compressor was operating, but was not moving enough refrigerant to keep the system acceptably cold. The high side condenser inlet was much cooler than the high side discharge at the compressor and the return from the condenser was cool to the touch. The unit will require the compressor, dye drier and service port. The system is copper and steel only, no aluminum connections observed. Office to order parts and contact the customer to arrange return service. 2 hours R600a sealed system required. Upon further inspection, I met with the maintenance personnel and they advised that the unit doesnt leak on a low water setting, but on a deep water wash, it leaks badly. I found the unit in a vacant apartment and pulled out into an open room and found the back left side of the tub was cracked (photo). I plugged the unit in and tested the spin and agitate and both are operating as designed. I am ordering the tub and will return with all prescreened parts. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling properly. Inspected unit and work area. Took the temperature of the freezer section and found the freezer at 15?F. Found the refrigerator section at 42?F. Remove the back cover and found evidence of a leak at the dryer on the other loop side. Evacuated all the refrigerant and went to replace the dryer. Found the cap tube was too short for the dryer. Attempted to move the drier to make a better fitting and the cap tube broke by the dryer. Went to pull the capillary tube forward to fit another dryer on and the capillary tube broke at the cabinet side to where I could not see the cap tube coming out of the cabinet. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Joe SR# 7735920735. He had me send him some photos of the issue at hand. He advised that at this point, the unit would be deemed NR due to inability to gain access to the capillary tube. He advised the unit would be sent to review and told me to tell the customer that whirlpool would be in contact with me or them depending on the next steps. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit was making a noise and then it stopped working. I found power to the unit and when pressing start, I could hear a relay on the control click. I removed the top panel and pulled on the belt and found it loose. I disassembled the unit and found the tension pulley wheel had separated from the arm and caused the belt to come off and the pulley dropped onto the belt switch keeping the unit from operating. I found a large amount of lint built up inside the unit as well. I removed all four rollers and cleaned the axles, installed the new tension pulley, cleaned the lint from the unit (before/after photos) and reassembled the unit and tested. Unit is operating as designed. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling well in either compartment. I found the FC at 25 degrees and the RC at 63 degrees. I tested the compartment thermistors from the control an they all registered the same. I tested the defrost thermistors from the control and they tested good. I tested the fans and found them working. I found the compressor warmer than normal. I could hear refrigerant pumping thru the capillary tubes when running test 40 and the compressor was ramping up. I checked minimum and maximum temps for the last 6 hours and the FC showed 72 and -18 degrees and the RC showed 72 and 32 degrees. The customer stated the temps had been the same all day. I explained to the customer that there could possibly be a compressor issue but there were definitely some control issues because of the readings I was getting. I did a power reset and explained to the customer to monitor and let us know if it corrects the issue and to let us know if it doesnt.
