I found the machine with the slow and steady blinking sensing LED and no other functions or operations could be activated. The long-press reset worked to clear the stuck state and I calibrated the control. Testing within automatic and manual test modes showed the machine fully operational at that point, and customer mode, abbreviated cycles worked as well. I found a prior servicer had apparently replaced the igniter and it was out of place severely, and not within the flame kernel as designed. I was able to correct the igniter position and tested. The air shutter was incorrectly set, allowing too much airflow and creating a lean-condition flame. I adjusted the air shutter and tested. The oven door handle was very loose and due to potential hazard of glass breakage, I disassembled the oven door and corrected, removing internal glass debris as well. The unit operated and cycled as designed. I noted the anti-tip device was found within the broiler area and advised the customer of its purpose and that an installer or other service equipped to bore into concrete would be required to install the device. "KRFC704FPS06 Arrived to inspect temperature issues. The interior temperatures were elevated, the RC was 44 and the FC was 10, with settings of 37 and 0, the recommended temperatures for this model. I found very elevated temperatures around the machine, within the confines of the tightly fitted cabinetry that was preventing cool airflow of the rear condenser cooling design. The condenser discharge temperature was highly elevated and measured at 102F and should have been only several degrees above ambient on this efficient design. Adjacent condenser areas were just under, at 98F and the wall behind the machine was 97F. The air divider was missing and appeared to have never been installed during manufacture. I advised the customer of my findings and we will return with the air dividers and correct as required. The machine must set forward of the back wall of its installation area, by three to four inches and the divider, as designed, cannot do its job of preventing hot air circulation within the cool air intake side and modification will be required. The right RC door gasket was torn as well, and will require replacement. Upon further inspection, the customer pointed out that there is water dripping from the bottom left corner of the FC door when they dispense water. Customer tested the water dispenser and I found where the water is leaking out. I removed the outer door skin and found and screw stripped out. I was able to get the screw out once I had the skin removed, I found water on the door and inside of the skin (photos). I found the water dispenser tube is cracked at the bend (photo) and when dispensing water, the tube leaks and the water flows behind the dispenser housing and down the door. I inspected the lower hinge parts and they are good to transfer to the new door. I am ordering the FC door, door gasket, door skin screws (4), CNOTE-2MAN JOB (SENIOR TECHS), CNOTE-2 HOUR JOB. The customer advised the lid was locked and he was unable to get his clothes out until he broke the lid free. He did both that since then, he has been unable to wash a load of clothes. I found that when you try to start the cycle, the unit was telling you to close the lid, even when the lid was closed. I looked the latch assembly and found one of the Switches on the latch assembly pushed all the way in and could not be reset. I replaced the latch assembly and ran the author diagnostics. I found an F0 E7 (load detected during a clean wash cycle) error code. I ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working in operating as designed. Call complete. W11700916."

The customer advised they were running a load of jeans and clothes together and that the unit stopped mid cycle. When they went to run a drain and spin cycle, they found the unit continuing to run after 2 1/2 hours. they called whirlpool and went through a step-by-step instruction on how to reset it but ultimately, when the unit was turned off, the unit turned itself back on and started running. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any store error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test, and the unit ran and operated as designed. "Arrived on site for a dryer that is not drying clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit is taking 2 to 3 cycles to dry clothes and that the unit does tumble and eat. I tested the unit and confirmed the customers complaint. I found that when I opened the dryer door, I can feel a gosh of hot air coming up through the dryer, indicating an airflow issue. I took a look in the attic, and found the vent, making several turns, but could not see the entire venting system due to the insulation. I checked dryer temperatures and found heat slowly rising and falling in the dryer, indicating a lack of airflow movement. I advise the customer that they either have a long vent issue due to several twists and turns of the vent or they have some sort of clog inside of their event. I did explain that there is no issue with the dryer itself but they will need to have their events looked at for further assistance. The unit is working an operating as designed. Call complete. Arrived onsite for unit not cooling. On arrival temperature was set correctly however the freezer section was 25 degrees and fridge at 40 degrees. Was going to check pressure but need Oilless guages (ant compressor). Customer is not confident in moving forward as unit has not performed over two months. Office to reach out to customer.

Arrived onsite to replace UI and deli UI control. Found harness is shorted and causing lighting issues and dispenser issues. Called tech line spoke to Aaron- SR 7740002541. Confirmed harness broken. Replaced harness and controls. Also found freezer led shorting due to broken wire. Used led kit to replace LED. Tested and unit is functioning properly. Job complete

"WVU37UC0FS1 Arrived to inspect noise. I found in medium and high blower settings, the machine would start to rattle loudly. Inspection of the blower wheel revealed a crack on the outer section, allowing centrifugal force to spread the blower and cause an off balance condition at higher speeds. "KRFC704FPS05 Arrived to install parts. I removed and replaced the HV, dispenser and side UIs and tested. As a furtherance of testing and because similar controls have been replaced in the past, I tested the ice dispenser microswitch. I found variable resistance from the low Mohms up to the 50s. Inspection of the switch revealed moisture had entered at some point and there were clear signs of corrosion. I removed and replaced the switch assembly and tested. The back of the unit is missing the lower air divider and the side UI over compressed during installation and will need to be replaced. Office to order parts. No leaks observed during service. "WTW4816FW3 Arrived to inspect continuous drain pump. Service test mode had F3E1, F1E1 and F8E1 stored and I cleared for testing. I found the pressure tube for the water level had been misrouted in the control area, causing a sharp bend right at the attachment point and resultant bellowing of the end of the tube, at the connection point. I trimmed the excess to ensure proper routing and a leak free connection. Due to prior service and the finding of a control error, I elected to replace and calibrate the control. The unit then operated as designed within service test mode and I could not recreate any further failures. No leaks observed during service. Drain safety strap added."

"KRSF505ESS00 Arrived to repair harness. Prior the harness repair, I inspected the rest of the machine. I noticed the RC door would not fully closed and the bottom drawer was out farther than it should have been. The left side of the evaporator intake had a solid, clear mass of ice and it was pushing out on the RC door. Further inspection showed the drip pan severely corroded and likely filling the drain assembly with rust and debris. The mullion had several mm of overlap beyond the lower chamber border and both door gaskets could not conform to the overlap. Light could be seen through both lower corners at the mullion. I advised the customer of my findings and they elected to replace the machine due to the high liklihood of failure. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived onsite for unit not keeping temp. Customer has to set unit to -8 degrees in freezer for unit to hold temp. If set to 0 degrees ice and ice cream start to melt. Called tech line. Spoke to Glen SR#7740004490.Check P20 cabinet thermistor. Found thermistor out of range. Recommend replacing thermistor. Also ordering replacement ice container due to separation. "Arrived on site for refrigerator needing gasket and bins. On arrival installed w11706640((2x), and w10830274 gasket. Also found temps in unit were warmer then needed. Fc was set to -5 degrees but was steady around 15-20 degrees and ice cream was halfway melted and not freezing. Arrived on site to replace previously diagnosed compressor. Unable to get compressor to engage in service test 40. Tapped to system on access port of compressor and found no refrigerant. Charged system with 100psi of nitrogen and found leak coming from internal of cabinet. Provided video to Tech-Line and advised customer to contact customer service. SR#7740000362

Arrived on site to replace lower blower. Pulled unit out of the wall to get to the back of the unit to replace blower. Replaced blower test unit by pre heating to 350? unit pre heated to 350? with no noise or error codes. Job complete. W11598119

Arrived on site to test unit for unit giving F8E1 error water in float switch. Test unit by pulling unit out and starting a cycle. Found unit leaking from sump and motor assembly. Removed motor to see if I could install it back correctly. Ran unit for 10 minutes not leaks but advised customer to used unit on a full cycle to see if it will leak. Will replace sump and more due to gasket damaged. Reschedule for Friday 10/4; schdld next appmnt for 10/4 FRI !
