"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher leaking at the door handle and not draining. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a photo of the water at the door handle on the right side (photo). I removed the outer door panel and found where the gasket to the vent has been leaking water (photo) and dry water stains on the inner door panel (photos). I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E2-drain pump failure. I cleared the code and continued with testing and the unit operated as designed except for the drain pump. The drain pump struggled to turn on, but once it came on it drained the water from the unit. I removed and replaced the drain pump and vent and found the left hinge friction pad laying on the floor under the unit. I advised the customer that I would have to order the friction pads and recommended they perform a wash cycle and see if it leaks at the door handle again. I did find some old water stains on the door gasket and will return with the gasket. I am ordering the friction pads and main control and CNOTE-LSO and scheduled return service for 03/02/24 (KC). "Arrived onsite for dishwasher with a burning smell. On inspection I took bottom plate and I when I took the over flow float off it came disconnected. I was looking for burnt wires underneath the unit, found none. I then was looked in the dishwasher found no evidence of plastic burning onto the heating element. Ran unit in diagnostics mode and there were no error messages. I hooked the overflow float back up and informed the customer I did not find any issues at this time. Customer will call if the issue continues. No water leaks detected during service."

Arrived on site for a microwave that has no power. Inspected unit and worked area. The customer advised that they werent using it and one morning they just came out to the microwave being unresponsive acting like it was unplugged. They said that this did not happen during any part of the operation of the unit. I checked all door switches and found them within range. I checked Ohio State components and could not find any issues. I replaced the thermal fuse and tested the unit several times. Found the unit working an operating as designed. Call complete.

On arrival verified complaint of blower making everything oily. Confirmed unit is fully functioning and blower is working correctly. Found install issue. Blower damper in cabinet is blocking air flow out causing unit to force air out the front instead of upwards. Unit working as designed. Job complete.

He advised that he still here is the unit attempting to fill, but is not actually making ice. I checked the fill tube and found the fill tube frozen. Remove the excess ice and went to go check the heater. I found that the heater connector was not fully inserted. I fixed the connection and tested the unit. "Ive done say it for a refrigerator where ice is clumping. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the issue was in his freezer compartment not his refrigerator compartment. He advised that when the unit fills with water, it fills up the ice bucket into a big slab. I checked the icemaker and found that the fill cup was iced over causing water to trickle outside of the icemaker area. I steamed out the ice clump in the Phil cup and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

Documented proper temperatures and a made settings adjustments to improve freezer cooling. -7f and dropping at time of service. "Arrived onsite for dryer making a noise. On inspection I did not find the dryer making noise. Customer had a video of the noise, gain access to the motor and blower wheels. Saw no damage on the blower wheel, turning the motor by hand and there was low noise coming from the motor. Told customer that here was slight noise coming front the motor. Installed new motor. Informed the customer to call if the noise gets comes back. Ran unit for 15 minutes trying to recreate the noise with out luck. The unit is operating as designed during service."

Arrived on site for washer not draining water out. Upon arrival found f9e1 in diagnostics. Upon further testing I found drain pump still failing and not pumping any water out. Replaced drain and found due to pump not be8ng replaced on second trip it had now cause another failure in control and replaced control also. Reassembled and tested washer in diagnostic and normal wash cycle. Found washer complete all cycles as designed with no errors or leaks. Call complete

"Arrived on site to inspect washer dispenser holding water. Upon further inspection, I found a small amount of water in the square reservoir in the softener cup (photo). I advised the customer that the amount of water is normal and then I contacted Techline to confirm. I spoke with Rich and provided previous SR#7738327327 and advised of my findings. Rich advised the remaining water is okay and that all parts have been replaced. Water pressure could be playing a factor in the amount of water left in the reservoir and the customer should be able to remove the dispenser and pour the water out of the dispenser. Rich advised to not replace any parts and refer the customer to Whirlpool Customer Service for further issues and provide them with the SR number. Arrived onsite for washers with hot water issues. Upon arrival I ran the unit with the hot water setting selected and the lid switch bypass so that I could monitor the water temperature as it flowed into the unit and it started hot the entire time. I ran the unit a few more times and found the same. Unit seem to be operating as designed at this time. I advised the appointment office that it might be a plumbing issue.

"Arrived on site for not spinning and leaving clothes wet. Upon arrival, ran diagnostics and got error codes F9-E1 long drain and F0-E5 off balance. Found some standing water in tub. Arrived on site to inspect range for arching behind unit when using multiple burners. Upon closer Inspection found unit arching with far left switch itself. Removed switch could hear something rattling within switch. Recommend returning with left cooktop harness W11675846 and another switch just in case new one is corrupted now. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher leaking water. Upon further inspection/follow up, customer advised the unit leaks on the Sensor mode towards the end of the cycle and since last service call, the unit leaked on Normal mode. Basically leaking on long cycles and not the shorter cycles. I removed the outer door panel and placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. After several tests, the unit never leaked. I contacted techline and spoke to Kurt and advised of the complaint and my findings and previous repair of the door gasket. After brainstorming the issue, Kurt recommended having the customer take photos of when the unit leaks; where its leaking from; the door gasket, inner door panel, etc. and provided SR#7738555818. I advised the customer of this conversation and recommendation. I reached out to in house tech support and it was recommended replacing the lower spray arm as it can get hung up during a wash cycle as debris will get caught in the gears and the arm will stall in a position to where its constantly spraying the inner door panel causing the water to overflow the reservoir or the spray arm is separating during a long wash and causing the water to rush the reservoir and overflow the reservoir. Customer advised it is a design flaw and questioned having to pay for parts and I recommended they contact the manufacturer to discuss and provided the SR number. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for oven showing power loss on display. Customer has to constantly reset. Attempted to go into diagnostics and got the screen. Once in diagnostics no errors stored. Arrived onsite for a dishwasher with the upper rack only pulling out about halfway. I found the back left roller on the adjuster had come out of the rail. Arrived onsite for washer stopping in the middle of the rinse cycle. On inspection customer had the washer loaded to show me what is happening. The unit was started on normal setting and it ran all the way through the rinse cycle. At the end of rinse the unit switched to wash cycle and stopped. I let sit for a few minutes to make sure it was not going to continue it cycle. I went to power the unit off and it did not respond. I held the pause button in for 15seconds still did not power so I held it in again for 15 seconds still no response. I pulled the power and installed a new control board in the unit. Customer is going to run another load and let us know if it is working. No water leaks detected during service. Sr7738552136.

Arrived on site to test unit for not advancing cycle. Tested unit found unit stuck in a logic loop continuously spinning. Advised to customer that they need to download the Maytag app to connect unit to WiFi so the new update can be pushed through per service pointer. Downloaded app for customer to attempt to update but could not connect successfully. Advised customer to contact Whirlpool WiFi team so they could connect them. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for a DW that is not washing dishes upon arrival I put the unit into diagnostic and found F4E3 wash motor not running code stored and the motor not running. I replaced the sump&motor and tested the unit and found the unit operating as designed. No leaks

"Ive done site for a refrigerator that is not cooling properly again. Inspected unit and work area. Found evidence of a defrost issue in the freezer section and took temperatures. Found the freezer temperature at 55?F and the refrigerator temperature at 62?F. I gained access to the control and checked all thermistors. I found the defrost thermistor reading 27.2 k ohms (-5?F), the FC thermistor reading 4.53 k ohms (57?F), and the RC thermistor reading 3.92 k ohms (63?F ). I checked the heater from he control and found it reading 91.6 ohms. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Bruce SR# 7738013150. He advised that because of all those checks, everything was good on the machine side, and it would have to indicate an air leakage issue. We checked the gasket and found no air leaks coming from the gasket. He had me check the drip pan and air return from the refrigerator side. I found no evidence of any leaks coming from either of those sections. Advise. At this point he would add silicone to the edge of the cabinet and liner to see if that would resolve and make no other repairs. He advised have the customer contact Whirlpool if further issues persist. I added the silicone to the edge of the cabinet in liner and tested the unit. The unit is cooling as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for washer making a lot of noise when in spin cycle . Found inner basket is wobbling in tub . Also removed basket and found some oil is leaking out and ribs on hub wearing down some . Ordering gearcase ,cam ,hub . Also recommend replacing suspension rods . Call to set return . "Arrived on site to inspect range oven gas leak. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the oven has a possible gas leak as they tried to use the oven and they could smell what they thought was gas and there was smoke coming from the oven. I tested the cooktop burners and they are operating as designed. I tested the oven on Bake at 350 degrees and monitored the unit. I tested the gas lines at the back of the unit and all were good. During preheat, I opened the oven door and found smoke coming from the unit which is normal burn off (new unit) and could not smell any abnormal gas odors other than the normal burn off from the burner. I advised the customer of my findings and explained the burn off odors. I contacted Whirlpool Safety and spoke to Cody and advised of my findings. Cody advised information will be documented on SR#7738471236. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

Arrived on site to replace tub. Replaced tub test unit and unit test good job complete.

"Arrived on site for unit, not powering on. Upon arrival inspected unit, verified supply voltage. Disassembled and found fuse OL, jumpered fuse, and unit did power on. Ran a test and found leakage in high-voltage system. The filter board was arcing and the unit was making a humming sound shortly there after the filter board completely went out. Ordering Filter board, mag, cap and diode. Set to return March 6th; ordrng 1 WPW10531156 (Filter board) and 1 W10754299 (Magnetron) and 1 W11678970 (Capacitor) and 1 W11256462 (Diode) and 1 W10832024 (Mag tstat)"

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is leaving frost on the food in the RC. Upon arrival I did not find frost any where in the RC. Including at the Evap. I tested the damper and found that it opened and closed like normal. The defrost cycle worked and I ran the test in diagnostic mode. I replaced the control and leveled the chassis because it was not done properly and this could cause warm air to leak into the unit causing frost. I advised the customer of this. Other wise the unit is operating as designed

Arrived onsite for a ran that is damaged. Upon arrival I I found that the door was twisted and the panel dented I am ordering both and returning on the 03/04/24; ordrng 1 WP9761344 (LINER-DOOR) and 2 WPW10299225 (HINGE-DOOR)s and 1 W11569689 (TRIM-DOOR)

"KRFF507HPS03 Arrived to inspect noise. I found the damper was the likely issue, but during my service, I could not recreate the chugging noise, but attribute it to moisture and ice formation that had restricted movement, resulting in noise. I found the top of the unit was tilted forward over an inch, in relation to the bottom and the feet were not set. I corrected the setup of the unit and then found the ice maker housing was not fully placed. I removed and corrected the ice maker housing and tested. The unit did make some additional sealed system noise and placement of dampening pads and adjustment of the tubing corrected. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace previous diagnosed parts. When I tapped the system it seamed to be a little low but there was still refrigerant in it. I could find no signs of a leak. I replaced the compressor and drier. I vacuumed the system and my gauges never moved after the pump was turned off. I charged it with 47 grams of R600A. I tested the unit and had good refrigerant flow and pressures. The unit is working as designed. I explained to the customer to give it 24 hours before loading it and asked them to only load it up with 2-3 days of groceries for a couple of weeks and monitor the temps then if the temps are still good they can load like normal. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for a washer making a grinding noise when in spin. I found oil coming out of the gear case and on the cam and belt. I found the gears in the gear case slipping and making the noise when the washer tried to brake. I replaced the gear case, cam and belt. I tested the washer and it is working as designed. No water leaks were present at the time of service. Call complete."

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. I replaced the motor and wire harness and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not working. On inspection found error F7E2 motor failure during diagnostics cycle. Ordering a pump and motor. W11460946. Original pump is in the dishwasher with screws. ; ordrng 1 W11460946 (Pump & motor)

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with low ice production. On arrival I tested the temperature of the FC and found it at 14 degrees and it was in a defrost. The sealed system cycled on within a couple of minutes and I watched the temp get down in single digits and it was continuing to drop. I found the ice bucket full. The ice wasnt all the way to the top so the customer thought it wasnt making enough. I explained how the new twist tray icemaker arm works to the customer and showed him how it was working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect unit for leaking. Upon closer inspection found drain for disposal still had knockout intact and no high drain loop present. Removed knockout for drain and added high loop. Ran test cycle on unit, no leaks present at this time. Job complete."
