I opened the pantry UI and found the harness and control corroded. I gained access to the compressor and found it running but the condenser is room temperature, indicating the unit needs a sealed system repair. I spoke to the customer about what is needed to repair the unit. He decided to replace the fridge.

Tested all component and found the reservoir drain pump not operating and found grit cutter open. I ran unit for about 15 min and was not making any ice. Compressor was running a bit hot and condenser fan was operating. Unit will need a grit cutter, reservoir drain pump and sealed system repair. I gave CX a verbal estimate and he declined. No leaks where observed during service. Job completed.

Arrived onsite for a washer not rinsing well. The CX stated the water did not fill correctly when using the delicate setting and it was not spinning the clothes out correctly in the normal setting. I checked stored error codes and there were no codes stored in the control. I activated all loads and everything was working properly. I ran the service diagnostics test and the machine completed the cycle and worked as designed. I went over what the extra power function does with the CX and showed the customer that the extra power light was on when delicate was selected and when the normal cycle was selected the spin was turned off. I showed the customer that the machine would remember and keep the settings selected for any cycle after it was started. The unit is working as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

Found the unit going off balance and casing noise indicating a failed bearing. Went to attempt to replace the gear case and found the agitator and rotor seized onto the gearcase. Replaced the basket, tub, gearcase, filter, spanner nut, agitator, rotor, stater, clutch, slider,and screws. I reassembled the unit. Could not test the unit due to the unit not being hooked up to water. Advised customer to run through a load and to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete."

The hum the customer is talking about is the difference between an R 600 compressor running and an R134 compressor running. I measured it at about 40 to 41 decimals which is very quiet. "Arrived on site to inspect washer not powering on. Upon further inspection, I found the unit is in a nursing home laundry room, along with other non-commercial units. I found the unit plugged in and responding as I placed it in diagnostics showing error code F0E1-load in drum during cleaning cycle. Cleared the code and continued with testing and the unit operated as designed. I placed it back into diagnostics and manually tested each component and then tested in a Quick Cycle. The unit continued to operate as designed. I found a detergent pod in the dispenser drawer and advised that the pods needed to be placed inside the drum and not in the dispenser drawer as the pod will not dissolve fully and will clog the dispenser. I recommended that the customer run an cleaning cycle every 30 loads or when the cleaning light turns on on the control panel. No repairs needed at this time. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Upon arrival I ran the unit in quick wash with a heavy blanket in it and the same amount of detergent that the customer uses and found that it would Agitate find and didnt produce too much suds. I then ran a spin cycle and found that the basket seemed off center a bit which could cause the unit to go off balance at time and stop the cycle too early. I adjusted the unit to venter the basket in the chassis and found unit operating as designed after testing.

I gained access to the float switch and tested the thermistor, I found it reading 1.1 kohms, 175+ degrees. The unit thinks its hotter than it is and wont activate the heating element; ordrng 1 WD21X10519 (Float switch)"

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. Per previous techs diagnosis, I was to remove and replace the fuse and test. I advised the customer of the service pointer to replace the entire module when having error codes on the display. Customer advised to go ahead with replacing the fuse and they would see how long itll operate until they need to purchase a new unit. I advised that once I replace the fuse, they would be responsible for the remaining balance. The fuse was replaced and I programmed the unit. When I pressed power, the unit made a popping noise and I saw a flash of light at the back center area of the cooktop and the unit began to show the error code F47.

Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they washed a comforter then some pants and the u;it stopped mid-cycle and clothing was still wet with detergent. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked error codes and found error code 29-too many suds. I cleared the code and tested the unit and it is operating as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=5 degrees. I tested the ice maker and it failed to harvest. I found the fill tube frozen and defrosted it and tested the water fill and it failed. I found the ice maker getting 120V. I removed and replaced the ice maker and tested. Unit is operating as designed. I cycled power to the unit to reset the controls. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I gained access to the control and tested the defrost circuit and found at the control it was reading 38 ohms which is in range. I found the control not sending voltage while defrost is being called for. I installed the new control. I recommend the customer leave the unit off for up to 48 hours, and to leave some towels inside the freezer to catch any water dripping down.

I gained access to the switch, I found the plastic clips that the start switch lock into are brittle and breaking off. The clips are part of the console and the console would need to be replaced. I was able to get the switch sit back in place but it will fall out again as those clips break more."

I removed the lower panel and checked for water trails finding none. I found water trails coming out of the vent on the rear panel and explained to the customer where it had leaked from. I went over detergent amounts and what cleaners to use. The customer requested to get the pump cleaned out. I cleaned the pump out and tested the machine. The unit works as designed and there were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete
