"Arrived on site for an oven. That is tripping the breaker. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that they try to run the bag cycle for the first time and it tripped within two minutes. She advised that she was unable to get the unit powered on. I went out to the breaker and found the breaker had tripped. Per Whirlpool, they have advised doing a burn off on the elements by removing the ground wire from the machine and running the unit up to 450?. I wanna head and did that and reattached the ground wire. I ran the unit back up to 450?F and advised the customer to let the unit run for two hours to burn off any excess moisture in the elements. Arrived on site for a refrigerator. That is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit was working great and then it just completely stopped about a week ago. I checked temperatures and found the temperature in the freezer at 2?F. I removed the ice container and found three ice cubes that were stuck in between the icemaker and the bay alarm causing the icemaker not to continue moving forward with making ice. I removed the ice from the bay alarm and found the unit immediately start cycling through. I found the unit harvest and fill as designed. I advise the customer of the issue in the unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is not drying clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer stated that the unit does tumble and heat but it is taking them 3 to 4 cycles to dry clothes. I tested the unit and confirmed the unit was tumbling and heating. I gained access to the back of the dryer and found lint build up inside the vent hose. I check the vent going into the wall and found that the vent in the wall is extremely shallow and only 4 inches deep into the wall. I did advise the customer that it is possible that because the vent is so shallow, there may be a partial restriction as the unit is trying to vent out. I also explained that there may be some sort of clog inside the venting system as well due to the unit, tumbling and heating. I did advise the customer that airflow would be the only other issue that could cause the dryer not to dry clothes. The customer advised that he will contact his property owner to get the vents cleaned and if that does not work, will try to see about what they can do with the venting within the home. Arrived onsite for refrigerator running all the time. Upon arrival customer stated the fan would keep running when door was closed. "Arrived on site to test unit for leak. Inspected unit and found unit had the old style tub ring, and noticed softener dispenser has extreme buildup causing water stream out to be held up and split into 3 different streams of water. The buildup coupled with the old style tub ring caused the water stream to be redirected outside of the tub during a load when the weight of the clothes and water dropped the basket, causing a major leak. "Arrived on site to test unit for no starting. Upon arrival customer stated unit does start but some cycles end up not spun out and soaking wet. Customer was washing a large blanket at that time, she also tried smaller loads 3 towels, but still ends up wet. Ran diagnostic cycle and found all components properly engaging. Informed customer that the load sizes recommended for this unit is 20-40% of the basket. If the load sizes are too small they group together and throw the basket off balance when in the spin cycle. When washing blankets, they hold a lot of water causing it to be extremely heavy and once again throwing it off balance. After unit tried to rebalance 3 times the cycle will stop causing clothes to end up not spun out. Advised to keep load sizes to the recommended amount. Using my vent test kit, I attempted to test the airflow in the unit and my tester would not register any air flow. I removed the lint trap and found the lint chute packed with lint/debris. I removed the back panel and removed the lint chute and found a large mass of lint/debris (photos). I removed the lint and reassembled the lint chute and tested the components at the back. "Arrived on site to inspect wall oven/microwave combo unit with a burning smell emitting from the microwave. Upon further inspection, using my microwave tester, I tested the microwave for one minute and could immediately smell a burning odor. I stopped testing and pulled the unit out and gained access to the microwave components at the top of the unit. I retested the unit and inspected the components and could not find any smoke or arcing coming from the microwave, but I could smell the burning odor getting stronger. I found one of the thermostats had shorted and is burning (photos). Using a harness from my van stock (W11578578 ), I replaced the thermostat and harness and retested the unit and it is operating as designed. Job completed. W11578578-van stock"

I did find some sort of airflow restriction due to a Rush of heat coming out when I opened the door. I gained access to the back and found Linfield up inside of the vent hose. I did advise the customer that the dryer only does three things (heat, tumble, and ventilate air or steam). I did advise the customer that if they are not drying clothes properly, there would be an issue with one of those three. I asked the customer how long its been since the vents were cleaned. She stated that they have been in this apartment for four years and it has never been cleaned since they have been there. I did advise that because the unit is tumbling and heating, the issue would be with airflow, and that they will need to get their dryer vents cleaned for the machine to run optimally. Arrived on site for a washing machine. That is not spinning out clothes. Inspected unit and work area. Around the unit through diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (low/no water detected during the fill) and F0 E7 (load detected during the clean washer cycle) error codes. I tested the unit in diagnostics and found for water flow coming from the cold water valve when the cold water valve was energized. I checked water pressure going to the washer and found adequate water pressure. I went ahead and replaced the housing and tested the unit. I found the unit working and operating as designed. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator thats constantly running. I found the UI control set at 0 and 37 degrees. I checked temps and found the RC at 36 degrees and the FC at 0 with the compressor still running. I power cycled the unit and tested. When the FC got to -3 degrees the compressor cycled off. I tested the thermistors from the UI and they were spot on with what my meter was reading. The customer does not have very much product loaded in the FC and I explained this can also cause the unit to cycle more often because more product helps maintain temp. At this time the machine is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator thats not making ice. I found the FC temp at 0 degrees. I activated harvest and found the icemaker with a defective motor. I replaced the icemaker and tested. The unit is working as designed but the customers water pressure is very low because of the RO system. I explained this to the customer and he stated the RO services would be out soon and he would let them know. No water leaks were present at the time of service. Call complete. Removed cover defrosted and cleared drain,removed obstruction in drain hole,checked water flow through drain water draining correctly. "Arrived on site for unit needing sealed system repair. While prepping for repair tapped system and found system with low charge. Replaced compressor and die dryer and charged unit with nitrogen. Could not pinpoint any source of leaking. Could have been at the manufacture well joint however that joint was re-done on todays visit. Unit held charge as well as vacuum. Charged unit per spec and unit is running. Notified customer to allow 48 hours for the unit to stabilize and place a bottle of water in the freezer to see if the water freezes and remains frozen over that time. Period, if the water does not freeze or thaws out, the unit will need to be re-inspected for potential leak. Job complete"

Arrived onsite for unit not cooling. Spoke to tenant and found complaint was water dispensing was not cold. Showed customer reservoir tank and notified him that only the water in the lines at the time is cold. Arrived on site for refrigerator not functioning. Inspected unit and found the issue is that the freezer door is not closing properly and now the freezer door is frozen shut. Either the unit is not draining properly or theres an issue with the icemaker or an issue with the door rails That is causing the issue at hand. Water has pulled underneath the unit as well as along the floor. Took pictures and notified maintenance . Will prep for each scenario. Left unit unplugged to thaw out. Office to reschedule. "Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit is making the same grinding noise as before. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Unit appears to be operating as designed. Customer advised that during agitate and spin is when the noise occurs and it sounds like metal on metal. I tilted the unit back and inspected the gearcase and came (splutch) and when I removed the cam pulley, I found a small amount of gearcase oil on the underside of the pulley. I removed and replaced the gearcase, cam and belt and calibrated the unit. Retested in diagnostics and the unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Upon arrival, the customer advised the parts had been sent to them instead of our office. When the customer presented the new parts, I found they were damaged and discolored again and appeared to be the same parts I arrived with last time. I notified the office (Parts Dept) and sent photos and advised of the situation. They requested that I return the parts to the office and reorder parts again. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is going off balance. Inspected unit and work area. I confirmed the customers complaint and checked the suspension. I found the suspension was completely worn, causing the off-balance loading. I replaced the suspension and checked the hub assembly. I found the hub assembly still intact. I spend the basket by hand.
