Arrived onsite to inspect burners being too noisy. Upon arrival I tested all burners and found them to be sounding as designed. No issues with the burners and the flames are even on all burners. "Arrived on site to follow up on refrigerator experiencing massive defrost issue in FC. Unplugged unit and checked thermistor reading again. Previous tech said unit was showing OL. I found 80K Ohms resistance coming from reading at the control for thermistor. I defrosted enough of the freezer to access the thermistor. I replaced it with a jumper wire, and checked at control again. This time it was reading properly, and there was no excessive resistance. The existing thermistor readings with properly matched to temps, but I replaced due to the crazy resistance readings I got. I replaced the control and tested everything from the rear again. Found proper resistance at thermistor, heating track is energizing, no air gaps found. UI shows thermistor as passed. I zip tied the new thermistor to the evap tubing. Unit working as designed at this time. Parts used - W11742389, WPW10384183. Called findings into tech line to document temp readings. SR7740279841. Call completed. Note - left unit unplugged with door open to allow defrost. Maintenance was made aware before I left that this will leave some water on the ground."

I found service mode testing generated an F6E2 and further inspected. There was a slight amount of debris in the filter, but not enough restrict flow. The replacement control started a second cycle at the end of the test mode, but it is a more common software issue that has been identified in recent times. Due to the liquid found in the vent fan, I am adding associated parts and we will return to install. No leaks were observed during service. "ASD2575BRB01 Arrived to install sealed system components. I recovered the refrigerant and it appeared to be a full charge. After replacement of the compressor, service port and dye drier, I vacuumed the system to 400 microns and it held for an additional 15 minute leak test. Charging with the MFG calculated refrigerant charge, the machine started cooling as designed. No leaks observed during service."

"WRF757SDHZ04 Arrived to inspect noise and hinge cover issue. I found the cover off and the customer had said it popped off a day after service, or so. The hardware sent out did not match and I had the exact version in my personal supply and installed, ensuring full mounting and operation. I went through every service test mode for any devices that could cause excessive noise and found no issues. Further discussion with the customer revealed the noise occurred only right after service and I suspect excessive moisture may have condensed and frozen on one of the two fans in that environment, leading to the noise. The moisture evidently dissipated, and the noise did not come back, per the customer. I ran the compressor for an extended time and found it to be well within expected operational volume. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

"KRFC704FPS0 Arrived to inspect no cool, after prior servce. I found the issue was with cooling in the RC. The RC was 64F upon arrival and the FC was 5F, with the FC operating the evaporator fan. I removed the machine from its installation and removed the lower unit cover. Due to the correct installation on the last trip, the excessive heat had been corrected and I found all high side heat as expected. I noticed the retainer for the three way valve would not retain the cable and when inspecting, the cable fell out of the connector. I was able to get the retainer to work as designed and contributed testing. The prior issue of the compressor not engaging within service test modes had returned. I contacted the MFG and advised of my findings and the representative submitted the machine for review due to the imbalanced temperatures, issues with both the RC and FC chambers not cooling and the return of the compressor running issue, after controls had already been replaced. File # 7740280783. The tech advised the customer will be contact within the next five business days. No leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is over filling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit seems to continue to fill after it goes off balance and it seems to be going off balance on every cycle. They were unsure as to what the problem actually was, but they advised that they are wasting a lot of water. I checked the suspension and found the suspension was completely shot. I attempted to wobble the basket on the driveshaft and found it was completely secure. Around the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that will not drain. Inspected unit and work area. The customer stated that they had to manually remove the water and that they had tried several cycles to get the washer to drain but couldnt. I checked underneath the washer and found one of the wire harness wires going to the drain pump broken. I went to replace the lower harness, and when I removed, the pressure hose off the tub, the stem on the tub side that the pressure hose fits onto snapped off with it. Ordering the tub and the office will need to contact the customer about our return date due to an out of stock and PSP item.; ordrng 1 W11219115 (Tub)"

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not agitating clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit will fill with water. Drain and rents, but will not actually wash the clothes. Around the unit through diagnostics and found an F7 E5 (shifter fault) error code. Around the unit through an auto test and found that when the unit was trying to agitate, the shifter was making an abnormal sound. I gained access underneath and did not find the cam worn or stuck. I went ahead and replaced the actuator and cam and tested the unit. I still had the same issue indicating an issue with the driveshaft. I replaced the gearcase and tested the unit. "Arrived on site for a range that has uneven cooking flames. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that her left two burners seem to have wildly uneven flames on the burners and they are also having an issue with their oven cooking evenly. I tested temperature in the oven and ran the unit up to 400?F. I found temperatures fluctuate between 423?F and 363?F, giving an average temperature of 393?F. I checked the temperature at 350?F and found similar fluctuations with an average temperature of 344?F. I checked the burners and condition from the left. Two burners were seemingly having uneven flames on the right hand side of each burner. I checked the offices and found the orifices were correct, and attempted to reposition the burner caps. I found that even with the burner caps being completely square, they were still having uneven flames. I replaced the burner heads and tested the unit. I still had the same issue. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Dillon SR# 7740278751. He advised that the oven seem to be within range, and that there was really no way to calibrate this unit. In regards to the burners, he had me send him several photos of the flame heights on all burners, orifices, and the burner heads and caps. He advised that there really would be nothing altering the flame heights besides the flame spreader which we already replaced. He checked in with engineering and they advised that there had concerns about potential gas pressure coming to the house and would require the customer to get a gas pressure check from the gas company prior to any further repair. The customer will contact her gas company and will call back if any other issues persist. Call complete. WPW10636224."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps and items freezing in the fresh foods section (RC). Upon further inspection, I found the shelf in the RC section at the very top and not allowing for good airflow. Tested temps in the RC=27 degrees and FC=12 degrees. While testing the FC, I found a small amount of frost on the right upper corner of the evap cover (photo). I gained access to the evaporator and found a ball of ice/frost in the upper right corner at the suction line and cap tube (photo). There was no frost pattern on the evaporator. I pulled the unit out and gained access to the sealed system repair and checked pressures and found the Low side pulled too far into a vacuum (photo). Checked amp draw to the compressor and its showing .5amps. I placed the unit in diagnostics to test and when I tested the compressor, it took several times for it to kick on. I tested defrost and it is operating as designed. I checked for any refrigerant leaks and found none. I advised the customer of my findings. "Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the noise is coming from the agitator area and its a loud metal on metal noise. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and manually tested the agitation and spin and could not duplicate the noise. I tilted the unit back and found gearcase oil on the side panels, drain pump, and harness shield (photos). I advised the customer of my findings and explained that while in agitation, the slider teeth are slipping on the rotor teeth causing the noises when theres a load applied. Heating circuit components and controls have been replaced multiple times over. Today in diagnostics found defrost sensor OL. After several minutes then the system recognized that the unit was needing to go into defrost and showed PASS. Called techline for continued issues. Spoke to Art SR#7740279141. All components that control the defrost cycle have been replaced. Tech line submitted for review. Job complete

Arrived on site for dryer not turning on. Checked supply voltage and voltage was good. Checked voltage to control unit had sufficient power. Found UI was receiving power but not turning on. Replaced UI and tested. Unit is now running designed. Job completed. Used part number w11316915

On arrival located issue water dripping from water tube for icemaker used permugum and sealed tube no contact with water.Ice build up around evaporator fan got rid of all ice test water flow great free of permugum product works as it's designed no parts used only truck stock permugum.

Checked continuity between element casings and terminals and found OL. Removed ground strap. Reconnected power. Ran bake element and broil elements in then ran bake cycle at 500 with ground strap off for 30 mins. Verified amp draw was under 16amps max. Stopped cycle, disconnected power,and reattached ground wire. Reconnected power and Set bake at 500 Advised customer to run for 1.5 hours and turn off cycle, spoke to TL and submitted picture of breaker. Advised customer if it happens again to replace breaker. "Arrived on site to test unit for noise. Upon arrival customer stated unit makes a constant squeal/ dolphin chirp during every cycle. Entered diagnostics and started a cycle, unit did not agitate and skipped to spin, during spin a squeal sound emerged during the whole spin. Gained access to bottom components, found all the gearcase oil has leaked out, slider is worn. Unit will need a full rebuild. Will require a new gearcase, slider, clutch, rotor, and washplate. Will need to order clutch for return visit. Ordering part, no parts installed, rescheduled for 11/12.; ordrng 1 W10754448 (Clutch)"

"Arrived on site to replace previously diagnosed part. Replaced inner door frame (WPW10208275), included in the frame was the hinge and hinge caps. Reassembled door and reattached, tested unit, door is no longer sagging and is properly closing. Unit is now functioning as designed, job complete."

"Arrived on site to test unit for wet clothes at the end of a cycle. Upon arrival customer stated unit will not enter the final spin, would have to manually put it into a drain and spin in order to spin the clothes out. Also the clean washer cycle does not start.Suspension tested good. Ran a diagnostic cycle, found all components properly engaging. Inspected under the unit and found no excessive wear on any components. Inspected shut off valves and found the hot water valve is extremely loose and has not been turned on since unit got installed. Tightened valve and opened hot valve. Started a cleaning cycle, unit properly engaged and is now progressing properly. Advised customer to monitor, final rinse did not get the required amount of water and water temp in order to enter the final spin due to hot water valve being shut off. If issue reoccurs advised to call the office and let them know the exact symptoms. At this time unit is running as designed, no leaks detected, no parts installed, job complete."
