Arrived on site for a dryer that is making a rattling sound during operation. The customer advised that it usually starts up within 5 to 10 minutes of the unit starting and will continue until it cools down. "Arrived to inspect garment stuck under agitator. I removed the agitator and freed the garment and reinstalled. I tested the unit within service test mode and it operated as designed. No leaks observed during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer snagging clothing and clean vent light wont turn off. Upon further inspection, the customer had a piece of blue tape on the spot where they found their clothing snagging. I found what appears to be a piece of metal in the paint (photo). I attempted to remove the debris and it would not come off. I tested airflow to the unit and it failed 2 out of 3 tests. Using my borescope, I found the vent tube going outside is clogged. "Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I removed the faulty compressor and evaporator after refrigerant recovery and installed the replacement compressor, evaporator, dye drier and service port. I vacuumed the system down to 320 microns and it held for an additional 15 minutes. After holding, I charged with the mfg prescribed refrigerant charge and tested. The unit cooled and operated and designed. No leaks observed during service."

Upon further inspection, I found the FC door slightly open on the right side and a large ice block in the bottom of the FC section. Disassembled the FC section and removed the ice and found the drain tube clogged. Pulled unit out and found the drain tube is the old duck bill type tube. "Arrived on site for a washing machine getting out of balance. Upon arrival the customer stated no matter the load size it will stop and throw an out of balance error. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F0E9 for off balance pause, F0E5 for off balance load, F0E7 for load detected on clean wash, F7E4 for basket reengagement failure, and F7E9 for locked rotor. I then activated each component and found on high spin it took abnormally long to ramp up. During testing the unit also locked and would not unlock. It would then no longer allow me to activate any load, but after unplugging and plugging the unit back in several times it would unlock. I gained access to the bottom of the unit and found all in good shape. Due to this I am ordering the rotor, stator, and control to replace. I also walked the customer through proper loading. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator not cooling well in either compartment. I checked temps and found the FC at 51?F and the RC at 60?F. I found all airflow components running as designed. I then ohmd out the thermistors and found them accurate. I gained access to the evap and found the frost pattern bad and stopping about a foot into the coils indicating a failed SS. "Arrived on site for a dishwasher popping the breaker. Upon arrival the customer stated that the breaker will pop shortly after you start the unit. They also found that if the dishwasher is plugged into another outlet then it will not pop the breaker. They also stated that the disposal, trash compactor, and dishwasher were all on the same breaker. The customer had an check the unit, and he only found the power cord crimped. I found sitting water in the unit and tried to drain it, but the breaker popped as soon as I tried. I gained access to the terminal block and found the neutral line barely touching and falling off the block. I corrected this and then turned the breaker on. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F7E1 and FAE2. I then ran a diagnostics cycle while monitoring amp draw. I found the unit ran through as designed with no leaks, and the breaker never popped. I ran the unit an additional time to reassure and found it still ran through as designed. I then ran a normal cycle for several minutes and found it never popped. I informed the customer on my findings and advised if it pops again it may be due to a weak breaker.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator leaking water and freezer not cooling. Upon further inspection, I found the FC door not closed securely and frost built up inside the FC section on the left side. I tested temps in the FC=11 degrees and I could hear the frost element sizzling from water hitting it telling me the unit is in defrost mode. Also found the unit ice bin full with ice from the ice maker. Disassembled the FC section and cleaned the ice/frost from inside and checked the evap. By this time the defrost mode had finished and the evaporator began to have a good frost pattern. Advised the customer of my findings and reassembled the FC section. Adjusted the door brackets to get gasket to seal. Recommended that the customer check the FC door when they open and close it to make sure its sealing properly. "Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with the RC compartment cooling good but the FC compartment isnt freezing anything and no ice has been made since the last repair. I found the RC at 42 degrees with it set at 38 and I found the FC at 56 degrees with it set at 0. I only found about a 6 frost line on the FC evaporator after the capillary where it enters the evaporator. I could hear the refrigerant surging into the evaporator. I did not have a set of oil less gauges with me to check pressures but the new compressor is either not pumping correctly or there is another leak in the system, or there is a restriction between the 3 way valve and the FC evaporator. Ordering W10865322 RC evaporator, W11592009 Compressor, Watt/Inverter Test Kit, Oilless gauges, & W10843121 non-dye filter drier. Returning with the other parts also. On site for washer not agitating or spinning. Upon rival confirm complaint and found an F7E6 error indicating an open winding in the motor. Upon disassembling unit and testing all harness connections from ACU down to motor I was able to verify that all connectors were in place I then found that the neutral wire in the motor connector itself was not seated and locked and placed properly from the factory causing the false reading of an open winding. Was able to reset and permanently locked in place the neutral wire reassembled and tested unit and found washer could fully function as designed with no leaks. Call complete

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher error codes. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E4-float switch. Cleared the code and continued with testing. I disconnected the float switch from the drip tray and found water in the tray. During testing, I opened the unit door and found a large amount of suds in the tub. Customer advised that they accidentally used dawn dish soap in the unit and it overflowed the reservoir at the bottom the door and onto the floor. I found the soap in the drip tray and on the float switch. I stopped testing and removed the suds from the unit and cleaned the drip tray and using a switch from my van stock (W11545764) I removed and replaced the switch and retested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site to diagnose a refrigerator that has water filter popping out of housing. Found water pressure in house too high causing filter to pop out of housing and advised customer on findings. Arrived on site for washing machine having mold on bellow. I inspected the unit and work area. I tested the unit and found the drain pump working as designed. Arrived on site for washer showing f9e1. Upon arrival confirm complaint and found F 91 in diagnostics. After further testing I found that because of failure was the drain motor shorting out causing unit not to drain the water out of the tub. I use my shop vac to clear the water out then reassembled the unit with a new drain pump assembly. Retested unit and found unit could drain a half tub full of water in under three minutes and unit is malfunctioning as designed with no leaks. Call complete

"Arrived on site for microwave, inspected unit and work area. Tested unit and found fan making noises. Removed microwave from wall and found a bolt to long tubing the fan blades. I replaced bolt with smaller one and then tested. Unit is now operating as designed. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not draining and leaking water. Upon further inspection, I found the unit pulled out from the cabinet. I removed the toeplate and placed the unit in diagnostics and tested. The customer advised that they pulled the unit out and cleaned the unit to get it to drain. I found the unit has a copper water line and is leaking at the connection. When the unit began to drain, I found the unit leaking from underneath. I found where the tub is cracked just above the motor area (photo). After research, I found the tub is not a repairable part and advised the customer of my findings.

Arrived on site for ice machine not producing ice. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the water valve clogged and inlet hose clogged. The inlet house was cleared. I installed the water valve and tested the unit. It is now working as designed.

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven door not closing. Upon further inspection, I found the door closed. Tested functions and found the door not closing as secure on the left side as the right due to the type of hinges that are on the door. The left hinge does not have the tension spring that the right side does; therefore, the door is not closing as tight as the right. But, I did find that the door is securing on the left with gasket as designed. I tested the cooktop burners and found the front right burner taking a long time to ignite. I found the burner head ports were dirty and needed to be cleaned. All burners were operating properly. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer filling with water when not in use. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested. At the end of testing, I found water continuing to enter the tub. I removed and replaced the valve and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for ice building up in back of rc. I gained access to the evaporator and found an ice ball. I found the air duct seal flat and no longer sealing. I steamed out the ice and tested the evaporator thermistor, I found it still reading 12 degrees. I replaced the duct and thermistor. I ran a defrost test and found it working as designed. Arrived on site for dryer not heating. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the heating element broken. i installed the new heating element. I reassembled the unit and tested it. The unit is working as designed.

Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed parts. Upon arrival I installed new cold water valve and dispenser. And tested unit and found unit operating as designed. I advised customer to use a thinner fabric softener as the one cx is using is quite thick and some of it gets left behind in the dispenser. Job complete no leaks.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is building up condensation on the freezer gasket. Inspected unit and work area. Found the Molean between the refrigerator and freezer building up moisture and causing condensation on the Moen dripping down onto the gasket. Checked temperature and found the center mullion at 55?F. Checked freezer and refrigerator deli drawer gaskets and found no evidence of any air gaps or leaks. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Drew SR# 7734000562. He advised me to go ahead and unplug the condenser fan and to let the unit run for 10 to 15 minutes and check temperature again around the cabinet and on that center mullion. Found very little difference in temperature. I called back again and spoke to Rob (same SR#) and he had me run several tests along the mullion between their refrigerator and freezer. Found temperatures ranging between 75?F and 63?F. He advised that this was normal operation and that his own unit does the same thing. He advised that it is a humidity issue mixed with high temperatures. He advised that this is normal operation for summertime in areas that have high heat and humidity. He advised this unit is working as designed and to not make any repairs. Advise the customer of the situation and the customer is going to contact customer service for further assistance. Call complete.

"Arrived to inspect water still flooding ice maker area. I found the ice maker housing had twisted and the unit was overfilling and flowing over. I contacted the management company and they authorized the ice maker and valve, but the valve was not required and I adjusted the pricing from the original accordingly. I tested and verified correct fill and ice maker position and the unit operated as designed. No leaks of the water supply observed during service.
